A very, very readable book.
The story sucks you in immediately - it's a page turner that threatens to keep you up past your bed time just so you can read "one more chapter".
The characters are wonderfully developed. You get to know them, you like them, and you feel with them. You take a personal interest and want to know how they turn out. I mentioned "one more chapter" :)
And finally, the writing is superb. It's polished to a shine and keeps a steady rhythm. This book is fun to read, and will surprise you in the end.
Definately a must-get!

DO NOT get past the halfway point of this book late in the evening! You won't go to bed until after finishing.
This story leaves the police and the reader guessing all the way to the end.
May I have another, please? (asjogren)

A well crafted story that was a joy to read; the author kept me guessing right up to the end. As others have already stated, the story started out with a bang and just kept moving forward. If you're a fan of the crime or thriller genre, you won't regret buying this book.

A top notch example of the crime writer's craft. Punchy intro, great momentum throughout and a cast of highly believable characters. This is my favourite genre and usually I guess the ending way in advance, but this is a last minute shocker. I'd definitely recommend Thin Blood to any discerning crime fiction fans - a five star read all the way!

Yowch! This has some opening - hook, line and sinker. I love a good mystery, and this is an exceptional one. Just like the protagonist, it had me imagining all the possible explanations for what happened. But I never guessed quite where it would finish up - the ending turned out every bit as shocking as the start. Edge of the seat all the way through, with characters I really cared about. This is crime writing at its best.
