For 250 years the Vikings sailed the oceans of the world. Their exploits are legendary, they sailed all over Europe. They ruled much of England and Ireland. Few cities were safe from them. It was not all raiding, they were also settlers and explorers. Leiv Ericsson had paved the way to North America. In 1030 Einar and his crew departed Norway hoping to find gold and riches across the ocean.
