Shill for the Kill
by Greg Jackson
New York, 1938. The country is slowly climbing out of the depression and work has never been better for Jack Chambers, a private eye with a scattered past. But when a young socialite hires Jack to find her lost sister, Jack slowly begins his descent into the seedy sides of New York, with the help of an unsatisfied New Jersey housewife who bears an uncanny resemblance to his missing girl.
