Prospectors lost in the North woods during a cold, desolate winter are on the verge of starving. With no game, no supplies, and no idea of which way to travel, they are desperate. Two men leave to seek food and shelter to save the small group, but never return. Then an eerie howling that raises the hackles of even the bravest among them travels on the cold wind.
