In middle America, on Route 44, Amy Lewis has to get to her grandma’s house in time for dinner — but she’s being pursued by a very bad wolf. Galaxies away, when Loki wakes up in prison cell without a hangover he knows something has gone very wrong. Can a nice midwestern girl help a so-called God of Chaos? Can he help her...or even help himself?

Something wicked has made its way to Chicago — and this time it isn't Loki. Loki wants vengeance, Agent Steve Rogers wants to keep his city in one piece, and Amy Lewis just wants to get back to vet school; but first she will have to join forces with Loki and Steve to save earth from trolls, wyrms, frost giant invasions, and an old evil growing beneath Chicago's streets.

In this final installment of the Cera story arc, the noose around Loki’s neck is tightening. Gerðr, the frost giantess, wants him dead; Cera, the World Seed, wants his head—literally and figuratively; the FBI wants him in Guantanamo; and an old friend from Asgard wants to bring him home...whether Loki likes it or not. Things can’t get any worse, but when Loki’s involved, it’s certain they will.

Called into the FBI headquarters to identify a magical artifact, Amy Lewis gets the opportunity to find Loki again. In doing so, she tips the scales of not one, but two universes, and has to choose for herself what form she wants Chaos to take.

But Thor needs humanity's help and Amy Lewis and Bohdi Patel are about to get into worlds of mischief.

Odin wants Sleipnir, his magical, world-walking, eight-legged horse back. FBI Director Steve Rogers doesn't want Odin getting anything he wants. Veterinarian Amy Lewis and professional hacker Bohdi Patel want to set Sleipnir free. The horse has his own ideas. A story (mostly) from Sleipnir's point of smell.

When tragedy strikes Amy’s beloved mutt Fenrir, and Odin strikes Bohdi’s best friend Steve, they have to work together again. Amy’s knowledge of science, Bohdi’s talents for theft, and both of their survival skills are put to the test. But more than Steve and Fenrir’s lives are at stake. Amy and Bohdi may unlock the key that saves mankind from the gods … or bring about the apocalypse.
