I am excited to finally have a review! I have gone back to read the book myself and felt the first quarter dragged and went nowhere. It's very helpful to know that someone else felt the same way. So many times I told myself to cut from the front end, especially chapter five, but never did. One of my writing goals is not to waste language and with book 2 almost done, I promise it won't happen again
