Success is, according to the Oxford advanced learners dictionary, “the achievement of a desired aim, fame, wealth, or social position”. Therefore, with respect to this dictionary definition, a successful person is somebody who has been able to achieve a desired aim, fame, wealth, or social position. This is correct but for the purpose of this book, it is still not a complete definition!
