The Scandinavian countries are cold for part of the year. The people are versatile. I met a Vietnamese man who became a Norwegian citizen. I saw a system of underground pipes in a big market square which melt all snow immediately that hits it so in the middle of winter, there is no snow or ice in the outdoor town square.
