Outwardly, this is a continuation of the journal entries found in the third part of This Funny Earth of Mine. It's also one of the best books you'll have ever read. Whether or not you'll notice makes no difference to me. Come to think of it, you'll probably want to avoid it altogether, unless you've outgrown the condescending chunks of predictable banality that currently masquerade as books.
