The Grade 5 class at Salt Spring Elementary has been involved in a year long study of our local creek, Ganges Creek. We have hiked it's length, played in it's woods, learned about it's estuary and the Douglas fir forest ecosystem. In quieter moments we sat beside it to write haiku-like poems and take photographs. All The King's Horses is a collection of poetry, lyrics, short stories, excerpts of scripts and artwork from established and emerging talent. The 'expression of depression' series of anthologies arose from a journal and pad of art therapy pictures recorded during a stint in rehab. The idea was to collate similar pieces from as many writers and artists as possible.
