Thank you for respecting the hard work of this author. Forward Years ago the Lord called me as an intercessor and warrior for Him. I have learned over the years that the enemy is running rampant over our land. Scripture tells us to take up spiritual weapons of war yet much of the church has been using carnal weapons to fight a spiritual battle. The problem with this is that we cannot win this way. Over cities and states there are spiritual rulers of the enemy that are not only blocking God’s power from descending but are effecting people in many ways. God gave to us in His Word, the keys to the kingdom. Many do not even know that there is a war. Many have gotten the keys and just throw them down as this is not something that they would like to do. The keys unlock and lock doors in the spirit realm. The keys are literally the key to victory for the church. We just cannot fight a spiritual war with natural weapons. We are not gaining any ground. The purpose of this book is to hopefully educate those who read it about the power of God that is available to each of us. We are not supposed to lose. We are more than conquerors, if we will just fight God’s way. It is not about what we do; it is about what the Holy Spirit desires to do through us. If we can just humble our self and give up our own plans and agenda and allow the Holy Spirit to war through us, we will see major changes in this world. When things got tough I use to just get upset with the Lord. Little did I know at that time it was not His fault. I was upset at the wrong one. Once He revealed to me that the devil is real and behind so many things, it changed my outlook. No I do not go demon hunting as some do. Yet, when the Holy Spirit leads and empowers me much warfare will take place. I just pray that God’s army will rise up and take up their spiritual weapons of war so that the church can win and walk in power the way that it is supposed to. Table of Contents 1. America, It Is Time America, it is time to fight With spiritual weapons in your hand Are we going to let the spirit of fear? Rule and destroy our land? God gave to us many weapons Which are written in His Word It is time to dust our Bibles off And take up our mighty sword Our weapons are not carnal Which were given to fight our spiritual foe But unless we use God's weapons of war The fears will never go Fear is a strange thing As it will cause men to react Though if we fight in faith God's way We will always pro-act We have allowed this spirit to tell us what to do Instead of us telling it, where to go We don't have to allow this thing We don't have to be tossed, to and fro Satan really has no power Unless we believe his lie The problem is that we have put God aside And on His Spirit we do not rely It is time for America to make a stand And worship Jesus once again This country was founded on God This is our heritage, and our origin It's time to tell our enemy to go In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord And get back to our foundations of Trusting and believing in, God's power and Word. I'm In It for Me I'm in it for me I don't care about souls I just care about what I can get I'm in it for me, don't you know I don't care about preachers All they want is my gold They should just get a job And leave my money, alone I don't care if people are hurting I don't care if they are cold I just tell them to go get warm I'm in it for me, don't you know I don't care about Heaven Because I didn't get to stay I don't care about what God wants Or really what He has to say I had to work hard for what I have Why should others not have to too? They think that intercession and warfare is work And that hearing from the Lord is cool I have my own agenda I can't be concerned about anything else I have plans I want to do I just care about myself. More Than A Conqueror Sometimes we must just make our stand Though the enemy shoots every dart We must remember who we are And that God will never, from us part We must just proclaim to the devil I shall not die but live My destiny is in Heaven Since Jesus, His life for me did give Your demon does not scare me For I know that you are only a spirit of fear My destiny is sealed with Jesus I walk by faith and my victory is near Even if you could kill this body My spirit man will forever live on Since God is on my side My victory has already been won I will enter into All of my promise land For I walk with Jesus And none can deliver out of His hand Satan if you have a problem with this Then to God you better talk For I am going on with Jesus By faith I am going to continually walk I am more than a conqueror Through Jesus Christ my Lord For I know that my God is faithful And will always confirm His Word. 4. Our Battle Cry Mankind is in a battle The war is raging on The enemy of our soul Thinks, that he has won It's not a natural battle For it's for the souls of men Thank God for the Holy Spirit Who gives us power, to win We must take up the whole armor of God As we must make our stand For satan has been ravishing Throughout our world, and land We must take the sword of the spirit This is the rhema Word of God With the gospel of peace Our feet must be shod We must take up our shield of faith And quench all satan's fiery darts We must walk in truth and righteousness If we are going to do our part We must fight in the spirit And deal with the principalities We must pull down the strongholds Of all the enemy We need to learn to praise And put the enemy to flight We need to worship the King of King's And just believe, that what He said, is right May the church be awakened May the scales come off their eye May the Church be filled with God’s Glory May this be our battle cry. Our Power There is a war going on In the heavenly realm The enemy is fighting To keep God's power from coming in The church must learn To rule and reign Instead of being defensive New ground they must attain There are spirit’s ruling Over cities, states and lands They have no power When the warriors fight and stand There are blinders on people's minds Lest they see with spiritual eyes There are strongholds of all kinds And they have believed satan's lies Jesus gave to us the keys If we will just pick them up and fight We must bind the principalities and powers And all the demon spirits of the night When we have gods before our God Such as rulers in the spirit realm Our blessing can never come As God will never rule with them God gave to us such power Through His Holy Spirit To rule and possess our land Are there any that have ears to hear this? Lu 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Mt 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 6. Spirit of Fear We Bind You Fear, what is it? It is just a satanic attack It is a weapon of the devil To steal and bring us lack It takes our peace And kills our faith It gets us off course So that we cannot run our race It will cause us to react Not from a sound mind It will drain us of our love and power To do this, it was designed God said that He didn't give to us That spirit of fear He gave to us power and love And a sound mind, that is clear We need to separate the fear from our self For a demon spirit is all that it is Just take authority in Jesus Name And command it to leave your premises Just command it to go in Jesus Name It must not stay near When with authority we speak the Name of Jesus The demon spirit will run, in fear Over serpents and scorpions Over all the power of the enemy God did give to us the authority And that nothing would harm, you and me The battle has already been won Jesus gave to us the authority We must take up our weapons of war And go on the offense, to win the victory As you read the final lines Say it with the authority of God's Word If one will put a thousand to flight What will happen if thousand's take up God’s sword? Spirit of fear we bind you In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord We command that you loose your hold from America We command you in Jesus name, to go! We take authority over all the attacks Which have come to kill, steal, and destroy We bind their power to harm us any more We take back our peace and joy. The Battle of the Mind Many people have no peace in their mind Because of the thoughts that they do allow Their mind is full of things against the knowledge of God And to the lies of the enemy they do bow We are told to cast down the imaginations That from the knowledge of God they are against An imagination is just a thought in our mind That is a lie of the enemy to which we became convinced The mind is the place of decision Whether to choose a truth or lie So how can we walk victoriously? When God's Word of truth we deny The body does not act independent It does what the mind tells it too do The flesh cannot be in control If the mind is filled with what is true Our mind should only listen To our spirit from deep within Our spirit receives from the Holy Spirit Words which will cause us to win An evil spirit will attack our mind And try to get us to accept his lie If we entertain his thought and act Then in some way he will cause us to die Our mind is the battlefield This where the enemy will attack If he can get us to believe his lie Then in that area we will then lack God told us on what to think So a blueprint of right thinking He did give If we will just apply what He did say Then we will find peace and live Until we read God's Word Then the truth we will not know We can never expect to find new peace We can never expect in Jesus to grow If we were to ask many people this question God's Word, have you read? We would find that many have no foundation of truth So no wonder the enemy plays with their head The only way to know what thoughts to think Is to get into God's Word and read You cannot recognize a lie for a lie Unless God's truth you heed Our walk is not victorious When walked in the vanity of our mind Feelings and emotions many times we must ignore If we are to walk in God's power divine The spirit bears witness to truth So a lie from truth we should differentiate If we will just listen to our spirit Then we will gain Heaven's fate A lie will take us to the right and left Our path will never be straight The truth will take us on the straight and narrow way That will only lead us to Heaven's gate The battle of the mind is very real So determined we must be To allow the thoughts that tend to life If we are to defeat our enemy If we can win the battle of our mind We will find a new life of victory We will be able to enter in to all God has And be as Jesus, and set the captives free. Scripture References: 2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 8. The Dividing Line There is a dividing line that is being drawn Between the natural and the spiritual man It is causing a great division Since the natural mind, cannot understand The dividing line becomes more evident As deeper in the things of the Spirit we see For we were once, in our natural state And our spirit, was blinded by carnality In following Jesus, there is a cost Which all are not willing to pay Yet for the world to become what God desires Walking by God's Spirit, is the only way To go on with Jesus, sometimes we must turn our back From the ones that refuse to hear Many people still desire a carnal life So closed, are their spiritual ears They still think that their life is in their hands The price for Jesus, they are unwilling to pay Though we go deeper, in the things of God Others will never go, as in their natural they want to stay The deeper we go, the further the gap Between the natural and spiritual man The world and its luster, mean no more to us As we desire only, to fulfill God's plan It is better not to say a word in defense Words sometimes will only bring contention Jesus didn't defend himself before Pilate As He knew that Pilate could not understand, God’s intention The natural man cannot receive things of the Spirit of God For they are but foolishness unto him The things of God are spiritually discerned And will bring to the spiritual man, life and freedom In the Body of Christ There is a dividing line being drawn Will you go where Jesus wants? Which side of the dividing line will you be on? Scripture Reference: 1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 9. The Keys Jesus, You took away the keys Of death, hell and the grave The enemy no longer has them For those keys, to us, You gave You gave to us the keys to the kingdom You gave to us such power That we can stand strong in You Even in our world's dark hour Just as death could not hold You When in the tomb You were placed Death has no power over us anymore For in Your power, we have been raised We no longer have to fear death As we know where we shall go We have passed from death to life When Jesus, we come to know You came to give us life So abundantly Not based on outward things You set our spirit free We no longer have to fear Any man or any thing You have given to us power, love, and a sound mind And a joyous song, to sing Even in the midst of all the storms That life seems to bring Peace and joy comes into our hearts As the telephone from Heaven, does ring You call our name And say peace be still Just know that I am God Your life, I will fill. Scripture Reference: Mt 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 10. The Mind The purpose of the mind Is not to stew and fret It is not to be weighted down By all the things we want to get It is designed To only make decisions It was not meant to judge Or promote strife and contention To walk in the spirit Our mind needs to stay clear Our eyes need to be open We must hear, through our spiritual ear The mind when full Tries to drown out God's voice We can't hear Him speak When it's confusing to make a choice In Philippians 4:8 We are told to think on certain things When we think correctly God said, peace to us that He will bring God's peace passes all understanding So our mind will be at rest It won't be working overtime It won't be a hornet's nest God said we are to not walk In the vanity of our mind When we do that God’s Holy Spirit, we bind God has for us exceedingly abundantly above all That we could ever ask or think So when we trust in our own mind With the Holy Spirit, we will not link. What Will It Take? What will it take? For us to realize The battle we fight is spiritual What will it take to open our eyes? What will it take? For us to know that the devil is real That he desires to destroy us And to keep us from what God wants to reveal? What will it take? For us to return to God with all of our heart And acknowledge Him alone So that the Holy Spirit may do His part What will it take? Must we loose everything? To see the eternal things That Jesus alone can bring? What will it take? To see fear for what it does bring It is just a demon spirit from the devil To steal from us God's good things What will it take? Another anthrax scare? For us to finally realize That we have a loving God who cares? What will it take? Another 9/11? To get us to the point That we trust alone in Heaven? What will it take? To open up our eyes That we may see all of satan's schemes Which keep us in bondage and walking in devilish lies What will it take? That before God we will humble and pray And learn to follow the Holy Spirit That He may guide our way? What will it take? To get our focus away from self And lay down our lives for others Instead of putting them, on a shelf? What will it take? That church we will no longer play So that Jesus may come and visit us in His glory And the Holy Spirit, whom has knocked, may have His way? What will it take? For us to turn loose of the money God did give And use it for God's kingdom And help others to eat, minister, or to live? What will it take? Only God knows this truth Yet I pray the answers come soon Since I know it is not God's will for His church to lose What will it take? To wake us from our passive slumber? And take up our weapons of war And the gates of hell, plunder What will it take? For the church to stand and fight? And do war in the heavenlies In God's power and might? What will it take? For us to enter in, what will be our cost? Jesus has already been nailed and crucified He already sacrificed His life for us on the Cross Since He paid the price All we need to do is acknowledge Him and walk by faith And allow Him to be our Lord That He may intervene in the human race. 12. When I Speak the Name of Jesus When I speak the Name of Jesus In Godly authority The demons of hell tremble For they know that they must flee When I speak the Name of Jesus Over the sick and the lame They will get well They will walk again When I speak the Name of Jesus Over the circumstances of life Peace will always come There will be an end to all my strife When I speak the Name of Jesus To the rulers and principalities They must come down from the throne That they have set up in the heavenlies When I speak the Name of Jesus The raging seas will calm The water cannot over flow me Because my Jesus will come When I speak the Name of Jesus Through the power of the Holy Spirit Things will always happen As demons will run, as they fear it At the Name of Jesus Every knee shall bow Of things in Heaven, earth, and under earth So it is time to speak the Name of Jesus, Now! 13. The Spiritual Fight Our fight was not against Bin Laden As the man by the enemy was deceived He was following a false prophet And in his lies, he had believed Though his sin was very grievous Appearing worse than yours or mine Sin is still of the devil No matter the extent, it just makes the people, blind If sin is of the devil Than what really is our fight? The only way to eliminate sin Is by the Blood of Jesus, and a spiritual fight Yes, we went and killed him But that spirit will still go on And capture another sin sick person So the problem is never gone We just cannot kill All the people that have sin There wouldn't be a church The world would have to end Jesus said "He that is without sin" "Let him cast the first stone" We needed to seek the blood of Jesus For his sins, to atone I know that this may not be popular But as Christians, we must walk in love And pray for and forgive others And let vengeance, come from above God's Word said that we do not wrestle Against flesh and blood So our fight was not against Bin Laden We needed a spiritual flood God said He would take care of our enemies But our fight must be of Him We need to deal with the spirits So that people can repent from their sin Many people are bound And have eyes that do not see As satan has blocked their vision So in God's spirit, they are not free Jesus came to give life, abundantly The devil came to kill, and steal, and destroy So if we go kill a person with sin We just gave in to satan's ploy There is nothing that, the enemy would like better Than for us to kill a lost soul For this is one less, for God's kingdom And one less for the Book of Life, role We do not understand that God would want him in heaven above But there is not one person Outside the extent of God's love Jesus died for all Not just you and me He even died for Bin Laden To be saved and be free I don't know about you But God, I will not play And go and kill a soul For thou shalt not kill, my God, did say Two wrongs never make a right Though through our pain it appears what should be But remember we can't really win Unless we pull down the strongholds, of the enemy I wonder what would happen If all were on their knees Crying out to God for his power and mercy To come and crush, the real enemy. Our Weapons of War No weapon formed against us shall prosper Because the Word said it, then it is true It doesn't say the weapon will not be formed But it says that it will not prosper against you When we take up the shield of faith We quench all of the enemies' fiery darts So a key to winning against the devils wiles Is to believe God's Word down deep in our hearts The enemy will always attack Especially after a victory we did gain His job is to steal, kill and destroy So on a victory parade he will try to rain The enemy always attacks our mind He tries to plant a lie If we don't know what God's Word says Then on what truth can we rely? The devil has already been defeated As Jesus took away the keys To death, hell, and the grave So in this, we must stand and believe The devil only has power against us When we fail to believe what God said He always tries to convince us of a lie His method is to play with our head God did not give to us a spirit of fear But a spirit of love, power and a sound mind If the enemy can come and steal our goods Then in God's power we can never shine We do not wrestle against flesh and blood But against rulers of darkness and principalities We must deal with the spirits over a place If we are to see the people be set free There are many spirits in the heavenlies That will rule over many a town The key is allowing the Holy Spirit To use us to pull the stronghold of the enemy down God said that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal They are in the power of the Holy Spirit's might We must pull down the strongholds of the enemy And prepare the way for God's light We have the Name of Jesus The Name that is above every name We have the power of the Holy Spirit The power that was in Jesus, yes the same We have the sword of the Spirit When we listen to the words the Holy Spirit does speak When we obediently act at His command All the devil can do is flee It is the anointing that will break the yoke No, it is not by our might or power It is the anointing of the Holy Spirit working through us That will defeat all the enemy's ploys, in this hour If we do not take up our weapons of war Then we will never win a fight Evil will conquer over good Wrong will win over right Jesus gave to us the keys to His kingdom But these keys we must take up and use If we don't as a church take up our weapons of war Then this battle we are going to lose We must prepare the way of the Lord And deal with the spirits in the heavenlies We must rid ourselves of imaginations Which have kept us bound spiritually With the highway between our spirit and Heaven Free of all that would hinder or impede The will and blessings of God Can come to all supernaturally. Scripture References: Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Isa 57:14 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people. 15. Wounded Warriors The battle is tough sometimes At times we see our comrades’ fall Some give their life Just answer God's call Others are wounded And are deeply in pain Do we just let them lay there? Or do we help them to stand again? Do we lecture and say All the things that they did wrong If you had only done this You would still be standing strong Or do we go to them in love A harsh word we never say And cover their wounds And help them once again to find their way Do we go to Jesus And intercede on their behalf And seek the answers So that they once again may laugh We need all of our warriors To fight this battle we fight Sure maybe some walk wrong Yet, they only can walk in what they know, is right To come at them with your sword And more wounds to them inflict Puts you in the enemy camp We are called to heal; not others make sick I wonder that if We saw Jesus sitting in the room Would our words change Would we be so fast to inflict a wound? We are called to restore in love All the hurting souls By laying down our lives for them Till the spirits and sickness goes Next time you see a brother That God has used in your life Admit that he has a problem somewhere Will you condemn and judge or help him make it right? There are many wounded warriors That man has cast aside Instead of restoring them in love We've pushed them away to die. Scripture References: Lu 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Ro 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 16. Arise O Church Arise O Church Heed God's call It is time to awake For at stake, is all Arise O Church To war, it is the time The enemy is fighting We can no longer be, on the sideline Arise O Church It's time to pray It is time the church Ruled the day Arise O Church It is time to reclaim All that the enemy has stolen We must take it back, in Jesus Name Arise O Church And take up your shield of faith And quench all the fiery darts For satan, no more will we take Arise O Church Let's make a stand Let's fight God's way With an anointed, spiritual hand Arise O Church Put off your complacency There is a real war going on And real, is the enemy Arise O Church It is time to walk in God's power And storm the gates of hell For victory in this hour Arise O Church And win souls to Christ For God's Word said He that doeth this, is wise Arise O Church Put off all of your fear As the coming of our Lord Is getting very, very near. 17. Final Words I hope that from reading these poems that a new desire will come into your heart and spirit to stand up and fight. For too long most of the Church has been silent. We are in a spiritual war that will take spiritual weapons to fight and win. For too long we have used carnal weapons to fight a spiritual war. It is obvious that this has not worked. God did not call us more than conquerors to lose. I pray that the Holy Spirit will open many eyes and that the blinders will come off as many enter in as intercessors and warriors to drive back the forces of hell that have for too long been killing, stealing, and destroying God's people. 2 Cor 10:4 says, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. It is time Church, to find out what God meant and start using the spiritual weapons that Jesus made available to us through the Holy Spirit!
