And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? On this day, in the year 2012, Satan comes again and thus, this “face to face” memo to him from God: God asks Satan, “Have you heard of my warriors that are on the supernatural horizon even as I speak this to you?” Satan fearfully responds, “What warriors?” “The warriors who are assigned for such a time as this. I have anointed them to be relentless and tenacious against that which defies Me.” Quivering, Satan asks, “Who are they?” “Some of them are already known to you. A new breed, though, has joined them. This relentless tenacious group will blindside you, Satan, from every position. You know that I AM cannot be blindsided. My faithful people won’t always know what is coming but, because of My whole armour, as shown in Ephesians 6, they will be ready when whatever appears. Further, the new breeders have trained others. Those others are soon to be unveiled. You know how John the Baptist was in the desert till the day of his shewing. Luke 1:80 says, 'And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.' Well, this new breed group of warriors is no longer desert dwelling. And, they have put away childish things, and Satan, it’s on... “Speaking of John the Baptist - I remember that he lost his head for Me. For the sake of John, and other saints of Mine, there is a bounty on your head, Satan, and I won’t hold back the bounty hunters. These have been engineered for end time ministries.” Satan swallows, “Are the new breeders male or female?” “Both and more recruits have signed up, with more to come. New breeders in training, don't you know?” Satan doesn’t respond to God's mocking, “Don't you know?” He asks God, “Will you give me advance notice?” “I will tell you, Satan, what you need to know on a need to know basis.” The Lord continues - “I'm weaving the tales. I'm spinning the webs. I'm rocking the boats. I'm rebuking you, and the winds. I'm spoiling your goods. I'm ending your "reign." I'm coming to get some of your people. What's My name? I AM!” Satan begins to interrupt God. God speaks, “Be still and know that I am God.” “You owe debts, Satan. I AM the debt collector; due time has come. You owe My people, My prophets, My warriors, My soldiers, and all of My assortment of saints, those that are here now and those who have gone on. “In Revelation 6:10, My saints cried, ‘...How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?’ Their answers are in movement, now is the time, in this life. I have revengers at the ready and more on the way. Romans 13:4 says, ‘...a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.’ “Oh yes, Satan, they are ever ready, indeed. They will use means that follow the Words of My Holy Bible. They are not attracted to your ways of hatred, revenge, and perverted “justice.” My ways have great appeal to them. They are revengers who will execute justice for Me in pure and holy ways. There will be casualties of war; however, My warriors will perform their assignments justly, in accordance with My words and commandments.” Satan squirms in major discomfort. Again, he begins to interrupt God. God extends His hand in a stop motion. Satan sulks but doesn’t speak. God continues, “Right now I am telling you to listen to Me because now I am not interested in what you desire to say. “In my new breed army, I have warriors who are fully equipped to do major battles against you, Satan, and your evil assistants. My warriors have been trained as an elite team of valiant vessels of honor. These warriors are unlike any that have ever been appointed by Me. They have end time ministry qualifications in full gospel force. “As you know, Satan, yes, all sin and come short of My glory but these end time warriors will be less and less inclined to sin, and when they do, their repentances will be rapid, regularly. You won’t gain ground with these, Satan. They are grounded and settled in Me. “I, God, declare, let the record show that these holy warriors are trained to kill darkness, to vanquish deception, to pull down strong holds, to subdue perversion, and to decimate wicked machinations, all for the advancement of My kingdom. They are a formidable force who shall not faint, quit, or fear what you have done, will do or plan to do. Fully armored in Me. Yes, that is the deal.” The Most High continues, “We are united in love in its variation of forms. We love to fight the good fight of faith. We love to fight against evil because we hate evil but we love righteousness. We love that you hate us because that affirms that we are doing the gospel right. We love to love the hell out of your people. We love to win souls. We love to witness dry bones live. We love to spread the gospel that I AM is love.” Satan trembles but says nothing. “This warrior troop, Satan, is fully persuaded that I am their Commander in Chief and their Fortress. They love, obey, and trust Me. They await, in earnest, My military orders. They are thirsty for blood, devil blood. Holy supernatural blood transfusions are part of the order of this day. The blood of some of your children will be transfused into the blood of Jesus to wash their sins away. You have been blood sucking, Satan, long enough on God’s destined heirs. The cross of My Son is their deliverance. “I am poised, wicked one, with My trumpet call out to the elite Special Forces. Some of the team will come from unlikely places. I have warriors in homeless shelters, jails/prisons, and living on the streets. Oh don't be deceived. Some of My best are from, and will come from such places. Hark! Let the record show; a select number of folks who have been disenfranchised are My franchisees indeed. “More people, Satan, from every spectrum of society will surrender to Me. The suits, the no-suits, the rich, the religious, and Oh yes, more backsliders will slide back to ME. You know also that My reach is global. Mark 16:15 says, ‘...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.’ North, south, east and west, My gospel shall be preached, and ‘whosoever will’ shall come! “You can look forward, Satan, to My new breed mean machine team. We mean to do exploits with excellence and certain triumphant results.” In the closing words of His memo to Satan, God says, “Those are just some previews of coming attractions. Stay tuned for the next episodes. “You are in trouble, Satan, in new and incomprehensible ways...” Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. “I AM THE LORD - THAT IS MY NAME. “Now that you’ve got My memo, be gone!” Satan boils out, until... Written December 24, 2010 Skill 2 - Estimation Matters Isaiah 10:27 - …and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. My belief is that next in line after God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, and the holy angels is Satan, relative to intelligence and power. We, the people of God can be in danger, spiritually and otherwise if we underestimate Satan as we can be if we overestimate him. Satan is a warrior, albeit on the wrong side, but a warrior he is. By no means is he a lightweight. While he cannot, of course, defeat the most High God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, or God's purposes, Satan is a formidable opponent against the forces of purity. Those with pure hearts and clean hands are prime targets for Satan's opposition. When Satan “shoots” at us, he is not shooting blanks. His ammo has the potential to kill in more ways than one. He operates with cold-blooded skilled calculations. He’s a strategic and highly intelligent operative. He has a kingdom - the kingdom of darkness, and he is the god of this world - 2 Corinthians 4:4. Remember it tells us in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The devil lurks, ensnares, beguiles, deceives, and knows precisely what “buttons” of ours to push and when, often when we’re at our most vulnerable. He is adept at ambushes and he uses “high-tech” surveillance methods. His job title includes cunning manipulator. He takes people captive - 2 Timothy 2:26. Genesis 3:1 says, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.” “Yea, hath God said,...?” - Genesis 3:1. “...If thou be the Son of God,..” - Matthew 4:6. Now we need to remember that Satan had/has “the nerve” to challenge Jesus! Satan has doctrines - the “doctrines of devils,” it says in 1 Timothy 4:1, and “seducing spirits.” Also, we are warned in Matthew 16:6, “Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.” No, people, Satan cannot be underestimated. An excellent example is how he was able to use the disciple Peter in chapter 16 in the gospel of Matthew. In verse 17, it says, “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Very shortly thereafter in verse 23, we read where Jesus rebuked Peter. It says, “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan:...” Peter had just got "a word" from God (verse 17)! And in the same chapter Jesus needed to rebuke him. None of us is above such lapses. May our God help us all. Matthew 8:28 tells us, “...there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.” We cannot afford to lose the awareness that Satan is fierce. Also, it is imperative to remain mindful that he often turns on “charm” and transforms into an angel of light, as do his ministers, so says 2 Corinthians 11:14, 15. Satan is on the prowl. Here is an excellent example from our Lord's Word in Luke 11:24, 25, and 26: “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. “And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. “Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” The above clearly reveals that it is dangerous for us not to be filled with the Spirit of God with his Word in our hearts to DO it steadfastly! James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Certainly, Satan's wisdom is “earthly, sensual, devilish” - James 1:22 - but it is wisdom, nonetheless. Jude 9 states, “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” Zechariah 3:2, “And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan:..” And Daniel 10:12, 13 says, “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard and I am come for thy words. “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me;...” No, people, Satan ain't no joke! It is critical that we strive, in earnest, not to be ignorant of his devices. The Word of God states in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” With that being the truth, we of God's kingdom need to increasingly wax holy! Job 17:9, “The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.” And Job 16:17, 19, “...my prayer is pure. Also, now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.” We need to faithfully abide under the shadow of the Almighty - Psalm 91. There is no way that we can be victorious without obedience to the Word of God. We don’t have, within us, anything near powerful enough to conquer Satan, except through God. Further, we don’t want to be in positions where this happens to us as shown in The Acts 19:15, 16, “And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?” And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled...” When we walk with God, we have no need to fear Satan but we do need to respect that our Lord has allowed him to have a temporal kingdom, dark though it is. Praise God that His kingdom is the only kingdom that cannot be destroyed. Daniel 7:27 says, “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.” Here are some scriptures to encourage us in our righteous journeys: 2 Peter 2:9 - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,... John 14:17 - Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. Proverbs 16:4 - The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. John 14:30 - ...for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. The Acts 28:5 - And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Written January 23, 2011 Skill 3 - Warfare Counsel The Lord God Almighty is forming a new “Warfare Counsel.” The said counsel will consist of hearty, valiant, military-minded soldiers of the Most High. The mission, should you decide to accept it, is to dismantle evil that has taken up residence in wicked people, to pull down the strong holds of the devil, to render him furious, envious, confused, baffled, and unprepared for the force of this new wave of holy warriors who are marching with holy orders to destroy the works of the devil in ways that have never been accomplished before. We shall, in the awareness from God, be mindful that not all unbelievers will take heed to the gospel truth but we shall gain those who are destined by Almighty God to reap of His liberties. God is sounding a clarion call for the best of His faithful servants to claim the ground on which we walk for God has given it to us. Remember that all of the children of Israel left Egypt with Moses but all didn’t enter the Promised Land. We are children of promise, and more than conquerors if we fear God and keep His commandments. Let us allow our Father God to purge us so that we can be fit for our Master’s use. People are dying, and are dead in the spirit realm. Their allegiance is to Satan. Many are crying out to be rescued but they find it challenging to trust because they have been so often disappointed by ungodly people. And many of those ungodly people were, and are “Christians.” We, of the Warfare Counsel, are appointed to prove to the unbelievers that our Almighty Father God can indeed be trusted. It is His power through us that will shake the foundations of the kingdom of Satan. We shall, through the power of God, pull people from the gates of hell because we know that the gates of hell shall not prevail against our Rock, Christ Jesus! Father God, please endow us, equip us, certify us, justify us, defend us, and channel through us so that we can fearlessly battle the forces of evil as the valiant conquerors that You have anointed us to be! God will use us to expose the false people who spread the doctrines of devils. We will call them out for who they are, and urge them to forsake sinful practices or receive the wrath of God in doses that will bring them to their knees or turn them further from Almighty God. They will either agree or flee. God will deal with the double-minded; choose life or death will be the command in clear undeniable ways. The Word of God says in 1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him…” We know what happened to the prophets of Baal! We’ll minister to Ku Klux Klan members, Mafia participants, Muslims, those consumed by hatred of God, pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, and witchcraft participants. And yes, we’ll minister to those who are “religious,” who falsely believe that they are saved! We’ll also minister to generals, captains, sergeants, and privates in Satan’s army. The love and power of God in us will love the hell out of some of them! The Lord will dispatch His best military leaders and servants of every rank and class to wreak havoc in the kingdom of Satan. The Lord will topple his empires, shame his minions, tame his aggression, subdue mightily throughout his ranks, and deliver crushing blows of defeat to Satan’s wicked strong holds. God is our fortress, our bulwark, a man of war (Exodus 15:3), and a consuming fire. He’s been mocked, ridiculed, ignored and disrespected. Woe unto all who choose to remain His enemies. A new day is dawning in the spirit realm - a day of vindication. It’s harvest time for the most faithful! God has destined this “hour” where more manifestations will appear to prove that there is a distinction between us, and those who follow the devil. Remember in the book of Exodus it says, “And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.” (Exodus 8:23) and the Word says, “…and when I see the blood, I will pass over you,…” (Exodus 12:13). The days of business as usual have come to a halt. God’s Word states, “Then Moses stood in the gate of the camps, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.” (Exodus 32:26). The status quo journey is over. There is too much at stake. Souls are increasingly in danger of the lake of fire. Such souls dwell in misery, in distress, in sorrow, in pain, in fear, and in hopelessness. I call out for God’s Warfare Counsel. The Spirit of the Living God lives inside of us. Due time has come to pour it out like rivers of living water to quench the thirst of the desperate, forlorn, and dejected. They hunger for the richness of Almighty God. We must, through Christ, deliver holiness to run through their veins as it does ours. We must march to the heartbeat of our Drummer, God! We must abundantly share the Lamb of God by our allegiance to His Word. We are in God’s army. We cannot faint. We must lay aside every weight and remain close to the storehouse to obtain orders and to reload our spiritual weapons. We must forge ahead and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We must zero in on our targets with precision, and we must fight against the ”demons of religion.” Jesus was crucified by the chief priests,…(Luke 24:20). That “spirit of religion” is, in large part, responsible for the many spiritual casualties of war. The “religious prudes” bring shame to God’s name and the mission of the pure full gospel. They position themselves proudly on their “thrones” of self-righteousness. They go to churches with ungodly hearts, and transmit their ungodly contagious “spiritual diseases.” Persecution is administered to the saints who righteously resist those who are “spiritually diseased.” Heavy doses of such persecution are given out regularly in countless houses of worship! And some of those “Christian” Pharisees dare partake of Holy Communion, the nerve! Religion is vain, and worthless if it doesn’t glorify our Father God, and get His holy work done! I have signed up with the Warfare Counsel. My blood-bought name is on that dotted line. I’m with the “sons of Levi.” (Exodus 32:26). We must stay mindful that, yes, we are on a love mission, but love ain’t no wimp! That is why included in God’s Word we find stories about war, and the use of the rod such as when Jesus told Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” (Matthew 16:23), and righteous indignation as when Jesus turned over tables and seats in the temple (Mark 11:15-17), and mention of the whole armour (Ephesians 6). We wouldn’t need all of that if we weren’t at war! And the Word of God is “quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12). One great example of that is when Paul said to an unbeliever, “…O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” - (The Acts 13:10). Yet with all that occurred in the war realm, there is balance contained in the ways of God. Jesus sharply rebuked people still the Bible says that he is “meek and lowly in heart” (Matthew 11:29). And with all that Moses did to oppose the evil Pharaoh, the Word states about him, “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all men which were upon the face of the earth.” (Numbers 12:3). Pride is prevalent throughout our universe, and it dominates in the spirits of many “Christians.” It is a destructive force, as is all sin. The anointing flows smoothly in pure vessels who are blameless and above reproach. Yes, we all sin and come short of God’s glory. But many sin and come short on the regular as a habitual practice with deliberation in frequency. And far too many in that posture carry the name of “Christian.” True warriors of God steadfastly submit to God to keep the power to resist the devil and having done all to stand! Written December 1, 2010 Skill 4 - Ministering There’s much talk and action about ministering and ministries. Surely, our Lord expects us to minister to ourselves, to allow others to minister to us and for us to minister to others. Yes, that is Holy Bible truth indeed. But yesterday, our Lord reminded me with this scripture: The Acts 13:2 - As they ministered to the Lord,… It’s vital that we keep in focus that if we aren’t steadfastly ministering to the Lord, we aren’t fit to minister elsewhere. Churches are full of people praying dry prayers, doing dry works, looking dry, and behaving dry. Dryness is a drag and NOT of God. Our Lord is the fountain of living waters - Jeremiah 2:13. In order to have living waters flowing out of our bellies - John 7:38 - we need to minister daily to the FOUNTAIN, God. God’s man Moses was so close to our Lord that the skin of Moses’ face shone - Exodus 34:29. Glory realm shining cannot be faked. It represents intimacy with God. People can witness glory realm shines on true worshippers. It’s only evident on those who steadfastly abide in God. Diligence in ministering to God is an investment that pays huge dividends in Holy Ghost filled bonuses. When I find myself exhausted and tempted to go to bed without communing with our Lord, I say to Him something like, “Lord, I’m going to commune with You, regardless. I know that I can have nothing spiritually profitable to give out if I don’t come to drink from You, the FOUNTAIN. Morning communion with You, Lord, isn’t enough. I need intimacy with You at least twice a day. I’m hungry and thirsty for You, Lord. Nothing and no one can substitute for Your pure holy presence.” Without fail, people, when I insist on pushing past my exhaustion or tiredness to choose to commune with our Lord anyhow, it is MUCH worth it. I so delight in being in His presence that my exhaustion is pushed aside. Worship time with God is such a delight with solid rock rewards in this life and forever. Yes, let us live to minister to the Lord. Only then can He count us worthy to minister elsewhere - with good success. Ezekiel 37:3 - And he said unto me, Son of man, can these dry bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Psalm 1:1, 2, - But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Ezekiel 37:10 - So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Written Monday April 29, 2013 Skill 5 - Watch and Pray There is a prayer deficit. Also, there is more prayer for requests to consume on our lusts rather than prayers that yearn for the heart and desires of God. The effectual fervent prayers of the righteous avail much according to the Word of God in James 5:16. Are we praying enough, and are we praying the right prayers? Have our prayers become mundane and dry? If so, why? The Lord says that many of His people have left their first love – HIM. Many have never known Him as first love but have treated Him as some sort of “lucky charm” which is an offense to who He is – God Almighty! Prayers from the righteous are critical for us to thrive in godly endeavors. The Word of God commands us to watch and pray. We cannot know God without prayer and other means of daily intimacy with Him. Our Father doesn’t appreciate selfishly rushed, and dull prayers. The Lord is holy and awesome. We owe Him quality periods of regular devotion in postures of worship and adoration for the great God that He is. One excellent biblical example is Daniel who prayed on his knees three times a day - Daniel 6:10. Our prayers are vitally necessary to bind and to loose. Satan is in revolution mode because he knows that time for him is shorter. Many Christians are talking about revival. For such a time as this, revival is NOT enough! We members of the body of Christ need to be about holy revolution because the mission of Satan is to destroy so that the gospel of God won’t progress. We have orders from our Lord to possess the land and to take the kingdom - Daniel 7. Fervent prayers from the righteous can undo damage caused by Satan. Prayer can prevent calamities, pull down strong holds, destroy the works of the devil, overthrow plans, change hearts, deliver souls, alert to danger, and bring the counsel of the heathen to nought. Too much is happening on our watch because we’re NOT watching! Of a certainty, Satan and his people are watching and know that NOT enough of us are in watch formation. That’s why the devil has more leverage than he should. God is NOT pleased with much of the lax conduct of some of His people. We desire moves of God while He desires that we move to Him. Written Monday October 5, 2009 Skill 6 - Domestic Abuse Prayer Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thank You for Your love, care, and faithfulness. This prayer is for abusers, the abused, and those who can help in the matters of domestic abuse. For abusers: Lord, Your hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither Your ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Father, we know that nothing is impossible with You. Draw, please, abusers by Your marvelous love, grace, forgiveness and mercy. Many of them have been abused themselves. Their souls cry out for help but they don’t know how to slay the demonic that resides within them. Minister to them, please Father, and quell their inner storms. Reach to the deepness of them and penetrate them to the core of their being and free them from their dark existences. Your Word teaches us Your realities and one of Your realities is that not all shall be saved. I pray this prayer from what Jesus stated in John 17:9, “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.” Pull their miserable souls, Father, out of the fire. For the abused: Father, there is much pain, fear and hurt in the lives of the abused. I call upon You, please, to rescue people from abuse. Expose and rebuke their abusers and if they don’t forsake their abuses, let justice prevail. Save the abused and give them hearts after Yours. Let them come to You, Lord, with tears flowing so that You can wipe their sobs away. Bind up their wounds and let healing manifest and free them from their horrors. Prove to them that You can minister to their every need in gigantic proportions. Teach them to forgive for indeed there is freedom in forgiveness. Build them up, Lord, because for so long they have been torn down. Send people to love on them - they need rich relationships. Give them the hope of glory and the peace that passes all understanding. Assure them that You are their rescuer, deliverer, strong tower, shield and buckler. Envelop them in Your secure embrace. For those who can help: Father, please move upon people to help those who are captive in abuse situations. Give sensitivity training to people to reach out to those who live in shame, fear, and rage. Help people to get understanding about domestic abuse. Provide people with skill sets to make major differences in the lives of those who are bound. You are holy, Father, and You have holy people who can dismantle the wicked devices of Satan. You have people who can do effective warfare against the forces of darkness. We walk in the light and our lights need to be burning. We are not to be as the Levite and the priest who passed by the one in need - Luke 10:33. Your Word commands us in Galatians 6:2, “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Let us do it, Lord, according to Your Word. It is our duty as Your vessels of honor. I decree, Lord, that You will answer this prayer in manifold ways with bountiful evidence to manifest - because that’s Your signature style. Your Word states that there is nothing too hard for You. In this prayer, I decree deliverance and complete freedom for drug and alcohol addicts. Father, You know that among the many addicts, there are professional people who are addicted, and that includes doctors and other medical professionals, some of who are addicted to prescription drugs. There are people all over this world who are gripped by the bondage of addiction. They are found in every economic class, race, culture, and persuasion. Lord, I ask, according to Your Word, that You will set the captives free, set at liberty those who are bound, and send Your Word to heal them. Let Your holy saints go forth to love on those who are gripped by the strong holds of demonic addictions. Reveal the best ways to help them with Your Word as guide. Allow Your Holy Ghost power to move within the ensnared hearts, and lead the addicted to run into Your healing arms. Work Your marvels, blessed Lord, and prove to the doubters that You reign. You are powerful beyond measure and only You can subdue and destroy the works of the devil that hold people captive. Get the “monkeys off their backs,” Lord, and put Jesus in their hearts. You are love, glorious Father God. Let, please, Your rivers of living water pour forth as a miraculous fountain to wash people clean with the operation of Your Word and Jesus' righteous blood. You are a Fortress, a Rock, a Strong Tower, and a very present help in the time of trouble. Deliverance is a process. Process people, please Lord, through all of the necessary channels to reach triumphant victories. Equip them, glorious Father, to stand fully armored to vanquish the vicious “death” grips that Satan worked on them. Teach them to have life and to have it more abundantly. Let them taste and see that the Lord is good. Teach them to fight the good fight of faith through steadfast obedience to You and Your Word. Give them staying power. Show them how to fight on their knees and on their faces in full dependence on You. Remove them from toxic and negative relationships. Let Your awesome anointing flood the souls of the many thirsty people. Work in them, please, Lord, hearts that won’t faint but press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. For loved ones of addicts Father, in the name of Jesus, help those who love and care for addicts. There are Christians who have loved ones who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. They hurt, Lord. Please help them to continue to believe Your Word and to trust You to deliver and to destroy the works of the devil. Give them the strength to use their holy authority to keep faith in the powerful blood of Jesus. Teach them, please, Father, to be still and to know that You are God. Lead them to seek Your wisdom as to what to do, when, and how. Assure them that they are NOT victims but blood bought heirs of You, Almighty God and joint heirs with Jesus. Guide them to know that they can have peace, joy, and Your blessed assurances in the midst of their storms. Let them shed the necessary tears of grief but then dry their eyes and praise You, Lord. You promised to keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on You. Lord, those who aren’t Christians need salvation for themselves, and for their drug and alcohol addicted loved ones. Please reach the hearts of the unsaved and distressed. So many are in despair, Father. But You can change and liberate weary and despondent conditions. Please, Lord, prove to the many that are gripped by fear, pain and uncertainties that You love them hugely, and can effectively help in ALL matters. You are now wheeling and dealing in the world but I’m going to put a halt to your nonsense and unholy addictions. I’m coming for you. You are Mine. “Alcoholics will put down Jack Daniels and pick up Jesus. He is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Drug dealers will deal out of the game of death and join ranks with Jesus - full throttle. Drug addicts will become addicted to holiness. Whores will kick their habits and keep their legs closed for Jesus. They’ll open them up again for God-sent husbands. Prostitutes will close up “shop” and leave the tricks for Jesus treats. Pimps will turn in their player cards and team with King Jesus. “Oh yes, I’m coming for some of you. And when I process you from salvation, to sanctification, to holiness, Holy Ghost revolution will be ON in unprecedented ways. You are going to become fire lion warriors with eagles’ wings. Surely, I will prove to you that My love, joy, peace, power and goodness are better than all. Only God is the optimum of EVERYTHING good! “Satan can’t keep you. When the fullness of time arrives, I’m coming for some of Satan’s best. You shall become some of God’s best. The apostle Paul didn’t plan to forsake Satan. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 1 Corinthians 16:15 - …and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) Written Tuesday December 4, 2012 Skill 9 - Confident Understanding Don't expect all Christians to understand your God assigned missions. Regardless, please do as our Lord leads. In ALL areas, it’s vitally important to obey God whether or not other people understand. We don't need to explain our actions unless God instructs us to do so. Keep your focus on the will of God above all that seeks to disturb your holy missions. There are Christians who will falsely accuse and rail against your anointing. Seek the Lord to learn if you've done anything wrong and need to repent and amend wrong ways. But please know that there will be times when you are INDEED abiding in God and folks don’t believe that you are. Remember how Job's friends falsely accused him. Later, God rebuked them. - Job 42. Truth be told, there are some people, Christians included, that aren't part of God’s plan for your engagement with them. That doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't God’s children but it can mean that they shouldn't be a part of your fellowshipping. When even well meaning people get in God’s way for what He's doing relative to your assignments for Him, God needs to move them out of your way to keep you firmly in the lane that He's appointed for you for the advancement of His kingdom... And then there are some people that have Christian labels but don’t exhibit godly fruits. Matthew 15:8, 9 - This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Philippians 3:2 - Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers,... 2 Corinthians 6:17 - Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,... Written January 20, 2013 Skill 10 - Shake and Bake We’re in steadfast motion to shake the kingdom of darkness. The gates of hell shall not prevail. The warriors of God are in bake formation and we’re rising to levels of holiness that will change the landscape in the “kitchen.” The temperature is set on high alert and more saints are about to come forth as gold. This is no crock pot message. Exquisite cookware is in our Holy Ghost ovens. I declare that we will live with purpose to go for the jugular when we fight against evil forces. The devil sure goes for the jugular when he comes against us. How do we go for his? Living holy torments his damned ass. 2 Peter 2:16, “…dumb ass speaking…” On huge levels, praising our Lord and sharing the gospel of the kingdom of God offends Satan. And loving and helping our enemies sends him into deep chambers of pain. Daily praying and meditating in the Holy Bible frustrates and discourages the devil. And surely, quoting the Holy Bible into his wicked ears causes Satan to tremble and to shake with fear. Our recipes, though, should NOT lack any of the above ingredients. We need all of them to whip up and to demonstrate effective actions against the wicked one. The Holy Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 5:6, “…Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” Yes, indeed, fellow chefs, we’re cooking, shaking and baking. God is the King Chef. He says to us in 1 Kings 17:13, “…but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me,…” Lord, we have presented to You, Your cake first. Please now equip us to bake up more glory meals to digest and to share as we go forth into all the world to preach and to teach Your full gospel truth. And help us to relentlessly shake the kingdom of Satan and to pull down demonic strong holds as we hold on to You, Lord, in confident faith. Thank You, Lord, Amen. Isaiah 52:2 - Shake thyself from the dust; arise,… Isaiah 2:19 - …for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Our Lord can render us unshakeable. Oh yes He can! Hebrews 12:27 says, “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Indeed, when we steadfastly abide in God, we can stand steady with the Rock of ages on our sides. And having done all - to stand - Ephesians 6:13. Now that we’ve shaken, it’s time to bake. No, we aint baking turkeys and chickens. We’re doing PRIMETIME LAMB. We’ve baked up a recipe that CANNOT fail. What’s in it? Salt, water, light and bread. We wait… and baked to perfection - out comes Jesus. And we shall be like Him… John 1:29 - …Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Written Friday October 19, 2012 Skill 11 - Eagle Formation with Lion Movements The voice of God shall NOT be silenced. He roars. Jeremiah 25:30, “ Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout,…” The voice of God’s warriors and soldiers shall NOT be silenced. We shall declare His holy truths in the midst of all that opposes what God represents. We shall NOT faint but go forth with love and holy boldness. We’re lion hearted with eagle attitudes and we WON’T quit. Proverbs 28:1, “…the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 30:30, “A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any.” We’re a tenacious bunch who understands the times. We contend for the faith and defend the gospel of our holy and glorious Lord. God has mightily anointed us to minister freedom to the dead and dry people who are bound by the chief of death, Satan. Be mindful that Satan uses psychological warfare and propaganda. We must keep the mind of Christ to be equipped to shake off the beast and to feel no harm. 1 Chronicles 12:32 - And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times,… Jude 3 - …earnestly contend for the faith… Philippians 1:17 - …knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. The Acts 28:5 - And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Written Friday May 3, 2013 Skill 12 - Riding in the God-mobile The transmission is in need of some oversight. The radiator is a tad off. The oil is leaking and the anti-freeze is frozen. The alternator is in over use mode and the rear view mirror is foggy. This is a job for super God. Our Lord pops open the hood. “Hmm,” He says. “There are bunches of cobwebs in here. Attention to details has been neglected. Some screws are loose. The oil is due for a change. I’ll put in some fresh transmission fluid. The rust factor is of concern. “Indeed some ‘surgery’ is needed on this vehicle. Pruning, purging and incisions are due. With the riders help, we can have this ‘baby’ smooth riding again soon.” The riders review the User’s Manual. They highlight the vital points. They pore over what needs immediate fine tuning. Yep, a tune up was way overdue. They do what is advised and recommended. They consult the EXPERT MECHANIC, God. Together they reason and consult… Hours later… The vehicle purrs with contentment. The inner fragrance is delightful. The interior shines. The music ministers. The song is, “Ain’t no stopping us now…” The moral of the story is - ride with our Lord and steadfastly read the User’s Manual for life. That’s the Holy Bible. And most importantly, don’t neglect God and DO what He says as a lifestyle. The spiritual rides can only be smooth if we cleave to the SMOOTHEST OPERATOR, God! Written 2012 Skill 13 - How to Know God Do you yearn to know God? Are you unsure of how to do it? Please read on to learn more. The word Christian is often used loosely by people who express to be Christians but according to God's definition of Christianity, they aren't Christians. True Christians steadfastly live lifestyles that please God, based on what is contained in His Holy Bible. Consider a vital question to ask those who claim to be Christians but don't regularly demonstrate godly conduct. “Does God know that you’re a Christian?” Only God is perfect but He does expect that true Christians seek Him for how to change and to be rid of habits that don't please Him. Living for God is a process. We can't expect to be pure in conduct without some time investments. God desires that we spend daily time with Him in prayer and in reading/studying His Holy Bible with purpose to obey what God teaches. As we steadfastly obey God, we graduate in our knowledge of Him. Yes, we all need forgiveness. When we seek God for forgiveness and, if necessary, seek forgiveness from people - to please God - we also need to amend our ways. Some may wonder why some Christians don’t watch horror movies and some do. I know of a Christian who views horror movies. Years ago, our Lord told me NOT to watch horror movies, so for me, it is sin. Why don’t some Christians attend certain “clean” events while others freely go? Why do some Christians drink wine and others don’t indulge in alcohol consumption? One main answer is - if the Holy Spirit tells us NOT to do WHATEVER and we do it anyway, it is sin. I don’t drink alcohol or wine. Actually, when I was in the world, I wasn’t a liquor drinker - only partook a few times - did wine and beer a bit more but not much… I’ve learned NOT to go anywhere or to do anything unless I’m sure that it’s our Lord’s will. Do I sometimes miss the mark? Yes, but more and more I miss it less because the Holy Spirit’s conviction and rebuke grieves me deeply. My sins grieve God and when He’s grieved, my spirit aches. Yes, our sins deeply grieve our Lord and when we abide in Him, we desire to steadfastly please Him. Years ago, a particular lesson taught me to obey our Lord, regardless of who is involved. One Saturday, our Lord told me to stay home to commune with Him. Well, my close Christian friend called and invited me to go out with her and to spend some time at her house. I rationalized it and thought something like, “She’s a strong Christian. What could be wrong with going out with her and spending time at her home?” Our Lord had already told me to stay in to commune with Him. Long story short…I disobeyed…and while she and I were out, our Lord allowed something to occur that hurt my heart deeply. As soon as it happened, our Lord told me that He allowed it because He’d told me to stay home to commune with Him. I quickly repented and became more mindful to obey our Lord. Yes, the Holy Bible tells us what is sin…but also the Holy Spirit tells us what is sin. Woe to us if we disobey, especially as the time gets shorter… The Acts 16: 6 - …forbidden of the Holy Ghost… The Acts 16: 7 - …but the Spirit suffered them not. The Acts 5:29 - Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. Written Sunday January 20, 2013 Skill 15 - Consuming God knows who this is for… He says: When will you have enough stuff? When will you stop going to the stores in excess? When will you cease to allow shopping to be your god? Another pair of shoes to add to your already crowded collection? Another outfit to feed your vanity. How many Facebook postings are showing photos of shoes, and clothes - glorifying stuff - while so many don’t have enough food to feed their families? No, I’m NOT against stuff. I AM against greed and selfishness - a bunch of what’s going on with so-called Christians. There should be steadfast evidence of Christianity. You know, being Christ like? Do I know that you’re a Christian? Does Satan know that you’re a Christian? My Holy Bible says that “Ye shall know them by their fruits…” - Matthew 7:16. The fruits of My Spirit are shown in Galatians 5. Selfishness is NOT one of My listed fruits. I AM angry with the abundance of greedy selfish people who call themselves Christians. Some lifestyle sinners give more than some who call Me Father. Jesus is NOT selfish. I shall NOT bless your selfishness. Cease or woe… Single mothers need financial help. Senior citizens need financial help. Homeless people need financial help. Veterans need financial help. You have more than enough pairs of shoes. Some folks have holes in the ones that they wear because they can’t afford to purchase… You have outfits in excess. Some people need outfits to wear to look presentable. And I AM not pleased that some Christians regularly buy themselves new but give used things to others. How can people regularly attend churches decked out with high priced attire and then send poor folks to thrift areas for used items? No, there’s nothing necessarily wrong with giving used items but there’s something wrong if those who are doing so spend much on themselves for new… Those who can easily afford to give new should do so; sacrificial giving pleases Me, as well. I’m much pleased with my true worshippers who consistently care and share and demonstrate love with actions. They give sacrificially, as well. I witness that they buy new things for the needy. I delight in such love motions. My true worshippers don’t spend unnecessary time in stores buying or “just looking.” They steadfastly set their affections on things that are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God. 1 John 3:17 - But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? James 4:3 - Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Mark 8:36 - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Written Friday April 26, 2013 Skill 16 - Joy Riding Joy riding is a blast. The Lord’s transmission is full of spark plugs and heavily oiled parts for our journeys. We’re in full throttle gear for on the road glory. No spinning wheels here. We’re rolling on “execute.” Plus, we’re running on full with ready trunks and heavy duty engines. What’s in our trunks? Ain’t no junk. Yes, indeed, we start our engines because we’re licensed and toting the keys of the kingdom of Almighty GOD. AAA doesn’t have anything on FSHG - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And even if you’re driving a clunker, it gets you from point A to point B. Clunk that baby to the tune of “Jesus is the Luxury of This Ride.” On the highways and byways, don’t be flipping the bird. That’s far from holy eagle conduct. And don’t even think about road rage. Rather, issue the devil a red-blood-of-Jesus ticket for disorderly conduct. Ride smooth on cruise control… Note: Pardon me while I pause for a tune-up. Off to get more intimate time with our Lord. Okay, ready to roll again after being fine tuned by the Master Mechanic, our Lord. For those who use public transportation, show up with the light of our Lord and ignite the souls of others. Open those Holy Bibles and read as you leave the driving to the system personnel. Seize the opportunities that are abundant on buses and trains. Smile often as you joy ride. Glow in your seats and be discerning about who is ripe to hear the full gospel truth. Share Christian literature and extend invitations to join you in church worship services. Impact the passengers with your steps that are ordered by our Lord. John 16:22 - …and your joy no man taketh from you. Exodus 19:4 - …and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Certainly, united with our Lord, we make triumphant strides forward to glory. About the author: Sandra Renee Hicks, a native of Washington D.C., is a Christ dweller who worships Almighty God. Portions of my testimony: Deep gratitude is extended to our Lord for how He has kept us, taught us, and loved us in spite of ourselves. High and mighty praises to His glorious and abiding name! ### For those who don't know me, the content below is some of my testimony. Sandra Renee Hicks was born in Washington, D.C. Her parents, both of whom became Christians, were Helen Marie and Robert. She is the youngest of four children born to Helen. Sandra is the product of an extra-marital affair. Both of her parents were married non-Christians when Sandra was conceived. God in his mercy later saved and sanctified both Helen and Robert. Helen went to be with the Lord first followed many years later by Robert. Sandra spent much of her youth in church with her mother who was a woman who came to truly love the Lord. Helen demonstrated the godly example of a true Christian, and had Sandra in church regularly. When Helen became too ill to reasonably tend to her, Sandra became wayward. As a teenager, Sandra was rebellious and foolish in much of her conduct. She rejected school, indulged in drug use, and frequently disobeyed her mother. Helen went to be with the Lord during the period of Sandra’s rebellion. The death of her mother when Sandra was a teenager jolted her into a measure of reform. She returned to school, quit drug use, and went to work in government. ### Sandra: - had an alcoholic step-father. - used heroin. Sandra didn't become a heroin addict; others that she knows did become addicted to it. - dropped out of school in the eighth grade (later obtained a GED.) - married her boyfriend who she met when she was about fourteen years old. They were a couple off and on for years. He was in and out of jail. They married when Sandra was nineteen. He later became a drug addict, drug dealer, and pimped one woman. Sandra got saved while married to him. She stayed married to him (about two years) until the Lord released her to divorce, based on adultery. - lived in two homeless shelters (years apart - about eight months each time). The second homeless shelter had a section that was converted from a hospital ward (Sandra was born in the subject hospital.) One day she was sitting in the hallway in that shelter and noticed an OB-GYN sign on the wall. The Lord had allowed Sandra to return to her roots. Sandra was born in the very building where she had come to reside as a shelter resident! When she saw that sign, she laughed. - backslid. At one point, Sandra moved in with a man; here he’ll be called Tony. For about five years, it was, overall, pleasurable (sin has pleasure for a season - Hebrews 11:25). It began to decline about the sixth year. Tony then told Sandra that he wasn't feeling her anymore. He suggested that she move out and that perhaps separation would lead to them getting back together at some point. Sandra was leaning towards returning to our Lord but she wanted the Lord AND Tony. That wasn't GOD'S plan. Sandra stubbornly refused to move on. About the seventh year, Tony moved from living with Sandra; He moved in with a woman who lived in the building next door (she had only lived in the neighborhood for months....) You know that Sandra was heartbroken. The Lord allowed division in Tony and the woman’s relationship. Tony lived with her for only about three months. Among other things, he discovered that she was a crack addict who prostituted for money to feed her habit. Tony left her. - was unjustifiably terminated from a government job. About four years later, the Lord judged the man who was most closely responsible for removing Sandra. The subject man was on the local news program for being in a sexual relationship with a fellow government worker who was married. They both worked for D.C. government but in different agencies. Sexually explicit e-mails were found on their computers. The subject man got fired. GOD judged others who were responsible for Sandra’s wrong dismissal. Another one got fired for not exposing his past criminal history. No shame in Sandra’s game. Hallelujah Anyhow! We're all a product of our environments and experiences. Sandra is grateful for her challenges; our Lord used them to mold her into the fire lion warrior for Him that she has become. And He uses what we've all experienced to advance His kingdom, and to help ourselves, as well as others. We all have our testimonies. GOD is eternally faithful. Bless His holy marvelous name. Heart rejoicing and grateful praises to the One who owns the air, good GOD Almighty! ### May we all heed these words: God is honest and He hates lying and lack of integrity. May we who are called by His holy name live of the full gospel truths that He declares. And may we keep our lights burning brightly - all for the glory of God and for the purposes of His kingdom.
