The Ugliness of the Soul Epilogue The Call of Love Come, O hesitant, Surrender to Love, And I will give you the keys to the endless treasury, Hidden in your heart. What else defines your life as experiences, Is there a place where they would not be present; Come, Take the first step to Me and I promise You'll never want to return to the land of the shadows. Look back in your life, See the shadows and the lights, See them with the eyes of the truth you mortal, Why would you give the withering spring of your life to all that which is not noble? Would you not thus come into the garden of love, To make it come alive, With your nurturing spirit of the Love that is in you? Man, Are you afraid of losing your strength, If you open your heart for your love; Are you so conquered with fear, That you speak not the words that hide nothing behind them? Have you become so rough, That you won’t give even in love to your woman, The soothing charms of the acts of love; Hear Me, They are also the chalice of your own happiness. O mortal, Think like a trader, With what price will you get another to keep for yourself! Short are your days, but shorter are your moments; The truth is, What dominates the experience, Dominates your life, Painting all the colors of these moments in your life. Why not, therefore, travel in love, Why not choose love to be your life? And you, O woman, You the carrier of all beauty, Why should you hide the beauty of your nature; Why, O Woman, Should you hide the endless river of the beauty of your heart? Life without love is like a night without stars, A forest without animals, birds and insects, A city of faceless men. But where I, the Love am, There the burdens are light, There the tears are shared, And happiness is unbound. Where I, the Love am present, There even the unknown finds a solace, And meet the ears that can hear. Here, with Me, Even though the storms rise, They always subside; Here, your lips are filled with loving kisses. Come, O hesitant, Surrender to love, And I will give you the keys to the endless treasury, Hidden in your heart. For My Love Lost I am to your heart, And want not to walk away. I take a direction deeper into your love. This way, I will never find my way out; Oh, my love, I want to disappear into you. You brought love into my life, And for that I will always call you the love of my life. My love, My treasure, I love you, I love you, (whispering): I love you. The Moth From a far come ways, For long I wandered only the cold starry sky as my blanket, Until I met the light of my life. I saw how I was but a larva compared to her brightness, A lowly, Wanderer of the shadows. The longer I walked in her light, The higher I sublimated my heart, Until it burst in love to my wings. At first, They were frail like the thinnest glass, But her beauty nurtured me, Calling me to her with her attraction. When I could not resist the heavenly ways of love no more, I raised my wings to the charm of my devotion, And flew, Towards the first touch of our souls. Soon, My life was surrounded by light, The innocent joy of the purest happiness. As my entirety was filled with it, I landed like the noblest of eagles to the ground, But only to rise back to her, Like a moth. Because I got to sublimate my heart, Travel in the heavenly ways of love with her, I know I can pass into timeless as rich as the wise Salomon. For the Free Soul What are we but a blink of life in the cosmos? Like clicking our fingers twice we are born and die in eternity. Let us therefore be as life according to our determinations, Like a fire that blazes freely through its path. I tree that does not burn till ashes, Decays to the ground. Why should you hide your life, O mortal; Become all that you can be, Receive the chalices of life that are offered you, For you alone are the master your destiny. Choose carefully the moments of your life, Make love your home and your land. Seduction My eyes are pleased to you, I want to touch you with my words. I enjoy your voice and the nature of mind, Now, I will enter like a thief to your house, But settle to there as my home, Like a tender kiss against your soft lips. Our breath is hot, We are ready to enter to the wine garden, Like a man with scythe, I have taken your feet off the ground. Lodestar, The Star of Love There is only one man and a woman in the cosmos. They are eternal. In the beginning, Their love was the brightest star in the heavens, Until they entered to time, And expanded their love through periods of time. They divided into people and nations, And lived throughout times all, That is Love. When they reincarnated from the all the love they had lived, Met in their entirety after thousands of years of separation, They rose back into the heavens, Being for us, the Children of Love, That brightest example of the radiance of our love. Kiss therefore in the light of the Lodestar, And you will see the infinity of your love. Redemption Speaks Come, rise up my love, Hear these words of redemption, For you are now more than you were, And my love for you has grown, In thoughts and in memories. With these roots I do not count your faults, All from them are absorbed in love to become my life; I promise, This too will become dear to me So come, rise up my love, Release your soul to be free, In the abundance of our love, The garden we have found. In the Safety of the Home of Love My love, I have made you my home, And you live in me. Show me the content of your hidden caskets, And take me to your secret rooms. I have already found everything in you beautiful, So why wouldn’t you let me fall in love with you entirely. Here our fireplace is always warm, And you know that all that is in me, Is yours. If you’re hiding your scars, They won’t make you ugly. I too am pierced with swords, But with your love, I have become complete again. There is no place where the safety of our wings would not extend, No faces we would not see lovingly. I have already found everything in you beautiful, So why wouldn’t you let me fall in love with you entirely. My love, I have made you my home, And you live in me. By now you see how love brightens everything that we are, And that there is no worry our wind would not blow away from the sky. Only in you is my home and yours in me, So be, My love, With me in a serene mind. Star Garden I look upon the timeless mystery of the night sky. They are like my far reaching memories. I can watch either to the light or to darkness, A star or the darkest moments of my night. Though the sky would be filled with stars, How easily do I pass to be as blind to their light. Lift me, O my love, For me to again see these gardens of stars if I fall. When we are together under the night sky, Let us then name stars with our loving memories, And let us by doing so, Brighten the starry sky. Oh, Will all the stars can see, Be enough for all the moments of our love? Longing I feel the presence of your soul everywhere I am, Whatever I sense, You are there; How deeply am I in love! I live in longing when I am not with you, Touches of life are empty. Like a blind in a gallery, I walk surrounded by life, When I am not with you. I cannot concentrate, My mind returns you always, Like the needle in a compass, My heart guides me towards my happiness. Longing is a temple, I divine my moments there waiting for you, O my love, Your beauty is my most devoted prayer for life. The Returning I travel in my experience like from place to place. That's why returning to my love, Is the pilgrimage of my religion of love. The Fulfillment of My Life When I close my eyes, I see your innermost beauty; As I open my eyes, I see you in all of your beauty as if shining happiness inside me. Where ever I am, You are there, My charming fulfillment. The Kingdom of Love I open my mind and travel in the kingdom of knowledge life from place to place. I have seen thousands of wisdoms, Visited the kingdoms of the ancient, Met ancient gods, And the rich forms of humanity. The kingdoms rise from time and disappear into time; Never shall they return from their underworld. How much are you, O human, Is there a measure for what we can make of ourselves in time? I stand before my greatest mystery, Who, O what kind are you, O humans of the distant future? All that is in our time, That is what we use to shape ourselves and our destinies, Let us therefore extend our minds beyond our time! Let us open gateways with our inventiveness, creativity and imagination. Like through gateways, Humanity outflows from us. How mysterious are you mind and the kingdom of knowledge, The unfolding futures receive their shape through you; But who will so daring as to be one’s own shaper. Countless are the forms of humanity, Only by extracting fear towards that great unknown, Can we bring for now incomprehensible alive. Like tyrants, Dogmas, Old cultures stand in our way, Like a human chain, We carry them from time to time, Including, The persistently everlasting war. What else but behavior and knowledge, Is the difference between eras and cultures, Is that not still human and humanity; Let us therefore be the bravest of generations, The carriers of the Kingdom of Love. Let us already leave the conflicts of the ancient beliefs, Like arguing brothers the differences of their thoughts divide humanity. Let us bring here all the nobility of humanity, For in the kingdom of knowledge we travel in like from place to place. For us, The Kingdom of Love is not a fantasy or an impossible dream, Sublime your hearts to all that, Is Love. The Acts of Love How happy is my fate. As I wake up, You are my first thought. As I fall asleep, You are my last thought. All the days I am with you, Either in thought, Or with my senses. Oh happy is my fate because of you. Let me give even some of this back to you, Through the acts of love. Oh my love, Will you let me make abundant in love, Let me, Oh my love, To touch you like the softness of your lips, And tuck you in to my warmth? Timeless Rapture In the timelessness of this moment, My greatest happiness is to hold you in my arms. Oh these little streams of love, They feed the ocean of our love. And how elegant simplicity rest beneath its surface: In the touch of being near, We are both in the holy rapture of the religion of our love. I do not need any god to know, This place is holy for a human. Together we are the temple and the holy land of our love. O Night (Written with Fayrene) Man: In this loving moment, I ask you, O night, Do not come too soon and take us to sleep, For I don't know where we shall find ourselves when we wake up. Will we still live in this great and intoxicating happiness, For now it is everywhere in us? Will we still desire to press our lips against each other so much as we now do? Will we still be in our togetherness this house made into a palace? So I ask again you, O night, Do not come too soon. Woman: O night, Come to us without delay Cloak our passion with the splendor of your radiance Fill our hearts with the wonder of infinity O night, Share our rapture, Yield our love infinite. Man: As your loving words enter to my heart, I welcome them lovingly to become me; As you touch me with your words, They spread throughout me like the finest of wines; As your words expand my eyes to see a greater dome in love, I feel love deepening as if from a fresh spring of water, In my mind and in my body; So now I know, O night, As I hold her in my arms, Tenderly pressing her body against mine, Now, As we are traveling towards sleep, In love we shall, we shall be infinite. And so, I welcome you, O night. Cruel Fate I shout you, O cruel fate, Why do you keep us apart from each other! There is no distance, No interval, That would stretch the bondages of our love apart. I laugh at you, O cruel fate, They only prove the strength of our love. When we are far from each other, Her soul is in me, And as I close my eyes, Her living memory is with me. I cannot leave my light, Even though, O cruel fate, You turn our ways far from each other. When we are together again, Our love is a fainted fire, But ah, It rises into a glow. When you give us week, We are already like one, Traveling in love like from place to place, Caring from each other like old lovers. But then you, O cruel fate arrive, And turn your tearing wheel, And won’t allow, You devil, Our love to become complete. I shout you, O cruel fate, Why do you keep us apart from each other this way, Will you not release us to be free in our love already! Before I Fall Asleep Like drops of morning dew in the sunrise, I look at the ocean of pearls of your radiant beauty, And feel enchanted. I am moved by the thought of how something as beautiful can exist, And still, You are in my arms. I’m about to burst, Because you are in my life. Without fear, I am an open book for you. The strength of my soul casts confidence in you; I am a strong foundation for the fortress of our love, And you, My love, Are its beauty and tenderness, Happiness. I fondle your hair, A moth lands to my finger, I carry it like your still open wounds, Tenderly, So that they can grow into your strength. Like a breakwater I stand between you and the ugliness of the world, Like lightness I lead you enemies astray, And like a pack of wolves, I strike against violence. Together, We are like children inside of our happiness, Free, Wherever the winds take us. Like a shooting star you have fallen asleep into my arms, Soon my wings shall tuck you in; Before the dream takes me to the love of tomorrow, Like drops of morning dew in the sunrise, I look at the ocean of pearls of your radiant beauty, And feel enchanted. I close my eyes in your warmth, My happiness is dressed to dreams. The Morning of Love Sometimes I wake up before you, I fondle your hair gently, And look at you as if enchanted before you open your eyes. I smile. Although the presence of your mind is not on your face, You are more beautiful than all the Earth. I am warm, Because you are beside me. As you open your sleepy eyes, Smiling, I see the thousand sunrises of your happiness. I kiss you so that you would feel my happiness, We look at each other in the eyes and I know, We desire the same happiness. I confess, O my love, That I bring you happiness with my acts of love, Fills me with happiness. Rest, Rest o my love, Still a moment in my arms, Only soon must we make this day to be ours. Live Your Dream The higher my soul goes, The higher it can fall, But even then I at least know, I lived in my dream, Mountains high. Power and the Power of Love You bring love to my life, You, O love of my life. You lighten the burden of my power, With you, I am far from the border of light and darkness, From there, Where the consequences of me are either good or evil. Because you are with me, I use everything into good without falling, How heavy would this path of the ancients be, But with you, I live in beauty. In my hate I am cruel and darker than emptiness, How wondrous are you, I shall not guide future into evil. You bring me the pen of love, Tune my thoughts to things bright and beautiful. With you I do not fear power or my creations, You bring love to my life, You, O love of my life, And for that, You are the Power of Love. The Painted Desert In this painted desert, Over the grains of our loving thoughts, The fountain of our togetherness, Brings forth the lands of our dreams. It nourishes the seeds of our hopes, Our desires, So that forever, Forever shall our souls live in comfort, From the loving roots, Of our hearts. The Power of Will to Rise The unfolding future, The trajectories of my own thoughts, Rising from the circumstances. A trail of mistakes had once me in. With a fierce strength of character, The power of systematic reasoning forged inside me, A power to alter the destinies with my will. This way you shall lay, A strong foundation for the renewal everything, Conquering the freedom that is for those, Who conquer it. This way Love speaks to you, So that your love would be complete, Your destiny, Depending of your own skills. Unrenewed Love The demerging of our souls and destinies, Unraveled an unforeseeable emptiness, Paved by the masqueraded darkness. The silence whispered, The shadows of our secret lives to rise and go on their own separate ways, And promised, A new kind of fulfillment. A tear of all that has now been lost, For the thirst of matters merely unrenewed. Daring Love What I am now, It has soon seized to be. Every moment is an unknown self, There is no same experience, No sum of cause and effect. Because of that, We the wanderers of the forever unknown, As long we are before emptiness, Without dams let us flow, And as if breathing fire, Let us redeem joyfully our living soul. There are no measures in the forms of love, No borders, No end before death. Travel, O mortal, Travel to the extents of your love. A Moment In Love All that enters from you into me, Are things bright and beautiful. With you, O greatest of my loves, I want to fill my all of memories. The Passing of Moments There are but passing of moments. Everything is under the state of transiency. How often have I lived-in loving places with my love, Having to later let go of these moments, As they fade to the past, Becoming memories. This is the tragedy of transiency, But also a power, That what renews everything, Seeking new places and moments to find from love, In love. And with knowing the power of transiency, How I wish to populate my memories from her that I love, And to invite her to crowd the chambers of my heart. Forever Unknown Life is to go forwards through unknown destinations. Love for us to deepen in love. The Presence of a Woman With the wings of your beauty, Time disappears from our presence. To love a Woman, Is to sublime one’s heart. Because you are always in my mind, You rise my life beyond my dreams. Life Is a Changing Labyrinth When you are with me, You are my whole world. I see your soul, There are no eyes that would understand you this way. It like my ears were created solely for you, And my thoughts, So that I could touch you right. All my life has been a journey to you, And now, We shall never be alone. Even though the world was broken glass, Nothing can wound us in our love. And even though there was but destruction around us, Steady shall our journey be in the eye of the storm. Life is a changing labyrinth, Still I always find my way beside you. How could it be otherwise, As when you are with me, You are my whole world, The rest, Is without meaning. Modeling Clay I am rugged and strong, But with you, Cotton soft. I am heavy-hearted and wise, But with you, I float like a feather. Let the others climb the walls of my rough mountains, I am but modeling clay in your hands. Connection of Souls Once you were for me a diamond among diamonds, I did not know, That something so beautiful would be hidden to such a beautiful face. Like studying a secret you began to unfold, And the deeper I went, I saw something alike, But garnished with thousands of jewels. Be courageous my love, We are of the same essence, But as a man and a woman. Dream Love Imprison me inside your indulgent smile, I look deep inside your beautiful eyes, Even though I am gasping my breath. We are inside enchantment, Everything in us filled with affection. Is pleasure as great as this witchcraft? Am I in a dream? And even if this is but a dream, Do not ever wake me up. Petting I pet your nose with mine before I kiss you, I do not need a shooting star to wish myself fortune. I hug you deeply so that our warmth will take us to our dreams. I disappear inside love, I am filled with happiness. To Fight for Love Love, Over which you are not ready to fight for when the time comes, Is it love? Here with the warriors of romanticism, In the land of gentleman’s, Shallow is your love if you are not prepared to fight. In hidden acts, The eyes of your rival shall not see, But in the end, When your moves surface, Already you carry the chalice of your victory. Into hate do not fall. The serpent of the garden the women shall recognize, That, Who by poisoning others around him searches for victory. Like from wine enjoy your romantic acts. And opportunity to ecstasy, Not hatred, Has opened before you. In the battle of love, truth always wins. The truth, That the woman carries deep within her heart. Remember always, It is you who wants to make her happy. Look for partnership, not a relationship. A relationship is surrounded by laws, Partnership is filled with respect and freedom. A partner of life is not a contract, Love is the bondage in all. Love, That keeps the two joined even through distances. Fight, O Mortal, Fight for your Love. Love, Over which you are not ready to fight for when the time comes, Is it love? Rise, O My Soul Rise, O my soul, To your heavenly heights, Elevate, O elevate me to love, For I have opened my heart. Come you ancient gods and hear, The deserted is again within love; Look you Eternal, She shall be my Goddess and Heaven; From her voice I have found my home. Witness you the men of this world, The same Initial Force has taken over me. Dance, O my Soul, Rise to your heavenly heights, See and be blinded from her brightness. Sing, O my Soul, Rejoice, For I have opened my heart. Fall into your envy, You petty gods; Kneel before her beauty, You Eternal. Her composition is without comparison, Rejoice you the human of Earth, She is one of us, Rejoice, O my soul, For she sits next to you. And as you ask, Who is this man that sits next to her, What has he done to deserve to be beside her, I shall answer: ”From my love I have always spoken that what true, From the beauty I have seen with my eyes I have told bluntly of that brightness, Which they tell me. And my life, That I have already given to her.” Rise, O my soul, To your heavenly heights, Elevate, O Elevate me to love, For I have opened my heart. Universal Love I sit quietly in a meditation, I see how the continuum opens different futures in front of me. I travel through ages in my mind, And see distant possible realms; Like a grain of sand in a desert is a generation of time. Like a memory is Finland, There are no nationalities, No countries, To be united is our long lost home. I return like a landing eagle, Hundreds of heavens and hells have burned my eyes. None knows the truth of times to come, There are no eyes to see beyond hundreds of thousands of years. One step in development, From thousands of gateways only one the present always chooses, No return, Only future in front of it. Where are you going, O human? What is this that you make as the home of your children? What are the streets, Your children are to walk? Here in the land of old forests, You shall see a Woodpecker, a Lynx, An Eagle Owl howling, Other beings like us, All the life is here. Different are they, Eccentric in their personality, Without awareness of the conflicts of humans. Yet the winters the bears sleep in their caves, Like from cats and dogs, An unique character we will find from all of them, Even from ants and frogs; Friends you can make of them too. Universal is love, But the greatest of loves, Is a Love in Unison. The Seven Sins of Love: 1. Love of Thorns Our love turned into devilry. We seek something to blame behind everything. The honey of our words is now venomous, Who has the power, Who is the winner, Am I the barer of greater strength? Oh this amount of thorns, There is nothing without bitterness. When I turn side in the bed of our love, Even that is something personal. Let us kiss! The Seven Sins of Love: 2. Freezing Coldness I can never stop loving you, But I can remove our shared heart, And unravel the path of our destinies. When I leave, I will not look back, A tear will not fall in my cheek, And you will not take anything away from my happiness. With my firm decision I look at the fainting memories of you like an overly used film, And soon, Someone else will be my lover, And I, Her lover. I tell you this only once, And then, I am already gone. The Seven Sins of Love: 3. Disregard Once, I did everything for you. There was nothing, No diligence, no amount in actions, That I did for your happiness. Now, I won’t let my love feel in you, Not in words, not through actions, I am like a desert and you its sand; Our garden is filled with weeds. I will not lift a straw, I will not hear your burdens, I will not behave for the wellbeing of your comfort; Only winds blow over us. I am like a cage, Our life like a ghost town, Without surprises; I am like a stone, Immovable. The Seven Sins of Love: 4. The Hook I am full of promises, But none of them I fulfill. You will receive my lips and my warmth, But not all of my love. You are a beggar of love, You do everything for me. You will receive only alms from my love, Just enough, So that you will return to me, Again and again. The Seven Sins of Love: 5. Violence The winds of the storm cut trees around us, Lightning strikes without an end, And the sky thunders like a scream of an angel. I will not protect you from the storm, I will not face the lightning so that they would subside, Instead, I strike you silent like a lightning rod. I am an oppressor. I am an inconsiderate fool as a ruler, A mortal without honor, Like an animal without knowledge of the briefness of my existence. Like a shepherd who teaches the cattle with a whip I am, I seek not mutual understanding, Obey me or I shall strike you down. I count your faults until I get enough you, The life that I bring is full of suffering; You will never find safety with me. The Seven Sins of Love: 6. Oppression How far am I from love, I the oppressor! I see power struggle in everything, I am weak, Haunted by insecurities, I cannot allow your will above mine. I walk in hatred and rage, Until you are according to my will. I will not allow your freedom, I want to shape you after my own image. I play with your weaknesses, I call you with names, blackmail and make threats, Until you yield. All this I make to be your life, These I carry with me, Piece by piece I swallow your dignity. The Seven Sins of Love: 7. The Ugliness of the Soul I count on your addiction to my love, I know how you want all this to work. You do not have enough self-esteem, No heart to leave away from me, And you create excuses for me. If I mistreat you, You see the fault in yourself. I am terrible towards you, And you see as your life to heal me. I am a bitter fate to you, O mortal, I never learn even if sweeten myself, For a moment I dear to you after the worst, Until you are far enough from leaving me. How sorrowful fate am I to you, O desperate, You have no faith of deserving anything better, And you call this, Love. Epilogue Like a flash of lightning is our time in eternity. Those who once filled the Earth, Have now fainted to oblivion. Yet like a force of nature the consequence of their existence move us, Like two magnets, Our generations moves the people in the distant ages; For that, Let us sublime our hearts with love. This is how, Love speaks unto you.
