Confessions of a Murderer In my solitude, I look down upon my bloodied hands; Yes, I have murdered him, but it was a matter of survival. It may be called honour killing; for his humble presence was too dominant to bear with my honour. Now, as I look down upon the memory lane; I hate myself for killing him. Yes, I murdered him for my crooked intentions ; slowly and painfully tortured him to his death. He pleaded for mercy, crying in pain; yet I brought death to 'My Damn Good Innocence' . Kalki Ages they have reigned here, in the Everglades; dark as they are, the eternal shades. Corrupted souls lurking beyond the Misty Vale; sins & provocations are always on sale. Mortals die, immortals fade before their glare; to venture into No-Man's-Land nobody should dare. Eons they've waited to devour everything good; Now the time is near, but don't let down your mood. The saviour will come again for the Tenth time, Kalki will put an end to all the crime. Earth 2.0 Keplar 22b, the distant dream far far away; Super-earth beckons mankind, our next getaway. Will we reach there, doubt prevails; Is there life or only empty shells. Let us change our own earth for good; Let us cheer up someone's mood. Reduce pollution, save forest and preserve energy; Help poor & aged people, shun your lethargy. We will be tomorrow's unsung hero; Let us make earth 2.0 To The Soldiers Be sharp, never be blunt; Find the way and join the hunt. Stakes are high, certainty low; Make your valour always glow. Take the risk, forget the pain; Never let your courage waste in vain. Journey ahead, goal is far; Destiny beckons, have no fear. Believe in yourself, open the doors; In the end, victory will be yours. Phoenix Tears have dried, blood has frozen; Though I'm alive,my heart is broken. My dreams shattered, career in ruins; Oh! only now I repent of my doings. Jumped from the hill, aiming for the sky; Wingless bird didn't know, how to fly. Crashed in the earth, goals out of reach; Now everyone just wants to preach. I walked & walked, the road was shiny; But the bridge was broken, between me & my destiny. I will start again, from the scratches; Will the phoenix rise again, from its ashes? # # # About the author: Soumen Dey, born in Chandannagar, a little town in India, is a banker by profession.
