This ebook is a transcript of a seminar delivered on 14th August 2012 in Brasilia, Brazil by AJ Miller (who claims to be Jesus) 
as part of The Truth About series, giving an overview of spirit influence. In it Jesus describes the different types of spirit influences, how they influence us, what attracts spirits to us, and how to grow in love to prevent negative spirit influence. This is followed by some mediumship by Mary Magdalene (Mary Luck), who channels some spirits who are influencing people on Earth.

The Truth About Spirit Influence
1. Introduction
My name is Alan John Miller and Mary there is my partner, Mary Luck. We are from Australia and we've been travelling around the world talking to people about what we call Divine Truth. We were invited here by Denny Johnson, who we only met three weeks ago, but Denny discovered us on the internet around six or seven months ago. And once Denny had listened to some of the material we presented on the internet he decided he wanted to share the material with other people. Some of the other people thought he'd gone crazy and I'm sure sometimes he thinks he's going crazy too! (Laughter) [00:01:50.01]
We feel that the material we share with people is very important for the world because it discusses how people can grow in love. What we find in our travels is that many people are finding their life quite difficult and they do not understand what love really is. Although many people believe they know what love is they still experience much pain in their own personal life. One of the things that interested Denny greatly in this truth, was that when he's studying the iris there are different things that occur that show you what is happening inside of your emotional self and that these particular things can be cleared from the iris by clearing them from the soul. [00:03:28.14]
In our travels so far in Brazil we have talked to a group in Belo Horizonte and also we've talked to a group in Sao Paulo. Now all of those talks have been recorded and translated into Portuguese, so instead of covering the same material, what we would like to do tonight is discuss with you about spirit influence on people on earth. We're talking about people who have passed from the earth into the spirit world and the different influences they have on people on earth. In this process we'd like to describe to you the three types of influences that spirits have on our lives. [00:05:38.06]
1.1. Spirits influence our lives
Most people on earth do not believe that spirits have a very large influence on their life but when you can see spirits, you can actually see the different people who are connected to each person on earth, and you can see how they are feeding information to the person on earth. Now some of that information is beneficial to the person on earth but other information is very damaging, and quite often people on earth are influenced towards doing things that are quite damaging to other people as well. In fact much violent crime such as rape and murder is often heavily influenced by spirits from the spirit world and if we, as a human race, are going to change this occurring on earth, then we need to understand all of the forces that are present. [00:08:01.25]
Participant:  Are the spirits also responsible for diseases in people?
Yes, that is the case. Many diseases that happen on earth are the direct result of spirit influence and in fact almost all diseases and problems of newly-born children are the results of spirits. And this is where we feel that many people in the medical profession can learn and do a lot to help people who have these problems. But to help the people we need to understand what the problem is and then we can help them solve the problem permanently. [00:09:23.27]
So perhaps the best thing to do is to give a bit of an overview first and then if you'd like to ask more questions and discuss the details with you. [00:09:41.15]
2. The soul, spirit body and physical body
The way we are constructed is that we have a physical body. We also have a spiritual body, but the real self is the soul and in fact each of us is one half of the soul. The other half of the soul also has a spirit body and a physical body. So we are one soul expressed as two different people. I've drawn it here as a male-female soul pair but the reality is that the two halves of the soul could be male or female. [00:10:54.17]

Each one of us is one half of a soul, with physical body (PB) and a spirit body (SB) 
Now what happens is that when a person is conceived the spirit body and physical body are created by the sexual process. Their mother and father have sex and create those bodies and the half of the soul attaches to both of those bodies. [00:11:28.13] 

When a couple have sex they create the spirit and physical bodies, to which the soul attaches
Many of you have heard of the spirit body because you would have heard of the concepts around chakras, which are the energy points of the spirit body. Of course we can all see that we have a physical body but neither spirits nor persons can see the soul. If we represent this in terms of how it really looks, if you imagine this red outline as the physical body, the blue around would be the spirit body and the entire thing is enveloped by the soul. The soul is the real you and these two bodies are just ways for you to express yourself. [00:12:42.15]

The spirit and physical bodies are overlaid and enveloped by the soul
The physical body allows you to express yourself and interface with the physical world and the spirit body allows you to interface and express yourself in the spirit world. Every time you go to sleep at night your spirit body and soul leave your physical body but there is a cord that attaches the physical body and the spirit body together and the spirits refer to this as the silver cord. All of the sensory inputs of your entire body pass through the silver cord and are felt by the spirit body. And then all of the sensory inputs of both the physical body and spirit body pass through another cord that join these bodies to the soul.

So the soul has a memory of everything that happens to both the spirit body and the physical body. When you pass over into the spirit world at the end of your life on earth, there will be certain things you begin to remember about times when you were asleep because when you go to sleep you do things in the spirit world with your spirit body while the physical body is lying usually on the bed asleep and resting and recovering. [00:14:48.23]
2.1. The process of incarnation
When the parents engage in sexual intercourse and the two genetic codes of both the spirit body and the physical body are created, a soul incarnates or attaches itself to the two bodies. This soul comes from a location, which we will not discuss in this discussion, where it splits into two halves. Both do not incarnate at the same time, but first one will incarnate and attach to two bodies and then the other half of the soul will incarnate and attach to two bodies. And then as these bodies develop and grow, they begin to be used by the soul to experience its universe. That is the general process that goes on at the very time of your conception. [00:16:10.28]

At incarnation the soul splits into two halves that attach to different bodies
Now once we pass over from the physical world to the spirit world, the only difference in terms of our existence is that we no longer have a physical body. In the spirit world we now just have a spirit body and all of the sensory inputs occur through the spirit body. The spirit body becomes the interface of the half of the soul and the way it connects to the universe. [00:16:58.29]

In the spirit world we have only a sprit body attached to our souls
Participant:  I was a believer that my soul has no male or female substance, so can you help me to understand that better? [00:17:50.02]
The reality is that the soul when it is unified has both male and female qualities but during the process of incarnation the soul splits into two halves and, depending on which half has dominance, it will connect to either a male or a female body. Your half of the soul does have a gender, a primary masculinity or femininity. In your case because you have connected to a female body, then you were the dominant female part of the soul and depending on your attraction, if your attraction is for a male, then the other half of your soul, your soulmate, will be a male. And if your attraction is to a female, then the other half of your soul will also be female and it will be a lesbian relationship. If it was two males then it would be a homosexual relationship. For eighty percent or so of the population it's a female/male based relationship. [00:19:53.12]
Before it incarnates the complete soul is actually partially male and partially female but joined together. In other words it has masculine and feminine characteristics and it depends on how it splits as to which characteristic forms the dominant attraction to the body. If it was a female characteristic that was dominant that is split away then it will be attracted to the female body that's been created through the sexual act. And in fact the replication of the cell process will be dominantly female. If it was a male then it would be the XY chromosome that would turn the dominant bodies into the male. [00:21:17.13]
2.2. Spirits can influence the masculinity or femininity of people on earth
Participant:  For me it was very painful to feel that I was not welcome as a baby girl. I also have a part of me that is male, which is in my female self, so how can I put this together? [00:22:21.03]
So is the question really that you feel that there is a masculine part of yourself? [00:22:44.21] 
Participant:  Exactly.
This is where spirit influence comes in. When your mother and father had sex with each other they wanted a boy, and this is why as a girl you felt rejected. Because of this, a male spirit also connects to you and he's the person who makes you feel like a male sometimes. Now he does this because it causes you to do things that are more masculine in order to gain the approval of your parents. This is because when the parents have rejected the female they prefer to have the child act in a masculine manner and in the process of teaching the child to do so, they attract a spirit to the child who helps the child do what the parents want. This is one form of interaction that occurs with spirit influence. [00:24:23.24]

Spirits connect to people on earth through the spirit body
The way the spirit connects to the person on earth is through the spirit body. In this way they can drop thoughts into the mind and also influence the actions of a person and at times when you look at the person it can even seem that they've got a different face. Have any of you ever noticed that? Where you were looking at a person of a certain gender, such as a female, and then sometimes they appear male to you? And this is often because of a spirit who is over-cloaking or influencing the person. Now the reason why this happens is that the emotions of the parents cause distress in the child, which the spirit wants to help eliminate. So because of the openness of the parents the spirit then comes to make the change occur to the person. We will talk about this in a lot more detail, but does that explain what is happening to you? [00:26:08.06]
Participant:  Yes I understand about what was happening. [00:26:12.26]
Yes, you will find that many people actually live like this. There are many people who live over-cloaked by spirits. There are many women who believe themselves to be partially men and women and there are many men who believe themselves to be partially female and male, not understanding that there is a huge amount of influence from the spirit world due to emotional injuries opening the spirit body to the problem. [00:27:02.05]
If you look at the spirit body there are chakra points, or major crossovers of energy. Do you all know the major crossover points? You have the base, and then you have the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh. Now when there are emotional injuries in the soul caused by the parent's unhealed emotional system and their own unhealed belief systems or incorrect belief systems, the openings of the chakras leave a person exposed to spirit influence. So for example if somebody has a deep amount of sadness about being a woman there will be two or three main chakras that are open and injured and therefore left unprotected. It is through these energy points that a spirit in a spirit body can connect to those persons and influence the person in their life.

Now what we would like to talk about primarily is this spirit influence upon the person and how this spirit influence can be removed. In addition we'd like to talk about the spirits themselves and the three main types of spirits that influence the person. [00:29:51.00]
Does everyone understand how the soul is constructed and how the spirit body and the physical body, which are bodies that were created by the sexual intercourse of the parents, are just bodies; they are not the real self? The real self is the half of the soul and the bodies are influenced by many different influences. They are influenced by the parents and they are also influenced by spirits, depending on what happened with the parents’ emotional condition. And we need to see some of the relationships between the parents’ emotional condition and the child's exposure to these spirits. As we grow into an adult our parents’ influence lessens, but we now contain many emotional injuries of our own. These emotional injuries have open points in our spirit body which allow for spirits to influence us under certain conditions. [00:31:45.04]
3. The three types of spirit influence on earth
Now there are three types of spirits that can influence us. The first type we would classify as benevolent. Benevolent spirits always have our best interests at heart but also they understand love and truth, not from their own perspective but from God's. Then there are malevolent spirits. These are spirits who desire to harm us. They come from a perspective of fear and falsehood or untruth and they have a very negative effect in our life. And then we have a third group of spirits and this third group could be broken into sub groups. And these are groups of spirits who are very similar to what they were on earth; they are neither benevolent nor malevolent but rather just interested parties, interested in our lives. [00:33:55.05]
Now these interested parties believe they are coming from love and truth but are actually coming from fear and falsehood. They have an arrogant position where they believe they know more than you do about your own life. They see many things that you cannot see and so therefore they believe they should be able to influence you however they desire. So we could call these arrogant spirits misguided. It is primarily this third group of spirits that creates a lot of physical ailments and injuries and diseases when they connect to a person on earth. [00:35:18.17]

When the benevolent spirits communicate to a person on earth, they never create any distortions in the chakras or the energy systems of the spirit body. They are always acting in harmony with love and truth and they are always doing what is positive for the person. The malevolent spirits are always trying to cause trouble for the person. These are often the kinds of spirits that are involved in practices such as voodoo and other such spiritualistic practises that generally involve harming another person purposefully. [00:36:26.08]
The malevolent spirits do frequent the earth and the main reason is that they are afraid, but they express their fear as rage. The interested spirits they are just misguided. They believe they know truth but they know very little more truth than you do. And they believe they know love but oftentimes they are less loving than you are and the reason is that they are often in their addictions. [00:37:25.03] 
4. Spirits connect to people on earth through addictions 
Now these addictions are not just physical, although they can include physical addictions. For instance a spirit who was a heavy smoker on earth will pass into the spirit world with a strong desire to continue to smoke. But it is actually not possible to smoke in the spirit world and so they connect to a smoker on earth and influence the person to smoke more. You also often find that when a person on earth who drank a lot of alcohol every day passes into the spirit world, they have a strong desire to continue drinking but with no alcohol available. So this spirit will come to a person on earth that is already a drinker and try and attempt to influence them to drink more. And in attempting to influence them to drink more they'll often keep the person standing upright drinking even when the person is no longer conscious of their own actions; this is the spirit using the person in order to feed its own addiction. These are just two examples of many types of addictions. [00:39:13.23]

But also there are many addictions that are emotional in nature. For instance, if I had a big family when I was on earth and I was able to control much of my family by pushing them around and manipulating them, and then when I passed into the spirit world, my family still being on earth, I would still desire to manipulate and control them. Because of this I would try to control them by using the force of my will and using emotions in them that I can manipulate. So if one of my children I know feels guilty, I can influence their guilt from the spirit world and push them into doing things that I used to push them into doing while on earth. And this is a form of me getting my addictions met in the spirit world; by using emotional injuries that are in my children on earth. And sometimes when I cannot do it with my own children, I try and go and find somebody else's children to whom I can do it. [00:40:53.18]
Now every emotional injury that any person has on earth has a colour associated with it, and so as a spirit all I need to do is find people with that colour. This colour will be coming out of them like an energy stream. It's like a pipe of energy, and it’s like an octopus in that it has a sucking effect drawing people into it. These energy streams come out of a person with addictions, whether the addictions are physical or emotional, and as such they can be manipulated by spirits. This is how these kinds of spirits can manipulate many of us on earth. [00:42:11.24]
Participant:  How do we attract only benevolent spirits? 
Well it is very difficult to attract only benevolent spirits. If we have any addictions of our own, whether they are physical or emotional, we will attract the malevolent or interested spirits. The key for us is to work through our emotional injuries and to work through our addictions, our fears and shame and grief, and as we release these from ourselves, these kinds of spirits can have less influence on us. [00:43:30.12]
There are always benevolent spirits around us, but they cannot easily communicate with us. If you can imagine, it's like one person standing here surrounded by many spirits. In fact on the earth there are four spirits living with each person on earth. These are people who have died but they have not yet gone to their location in the spirit world and so they surround us constantly. Any single person on earth is surrounded by at least four spirits, and these spirits are like a cloud influencing us every single moment they can. Now when a benevolent spirit comes to visit us, somehow he has to penetrate this cloud before he can connect to us because there's this cloud of other influences caused by our own unhealed emotional condition. It would be lovely if we could attract only benevolent spirits, but in reality we will not do that until we release or go through our emotional injuries. [00:45:30.18]
4.1. Emotional addictions can be seen in the iris of the eye
And this is where the iris is an important measuring stick because the eye is the lamp of the soul. The emotional addictions that exist in the soul appear in the iris and therefore it can tell us what is wrong with our soul that causes addictions and emotional injuries resulting in these spirits being attached to us. When I truly work though an emotional addiction, the particular problem in my iris, the dark mark or scar or whatever it is will disappear and that is an indication that the underlying emotional problem has also been addressed now. This will have an immediate positive effect upon any spirits that we are attracting. The spirits can no longer control us through the addiction. [00:47:23.16]

Our soul’s injuries are expressed in the iris of our eyes
Participant:  So we need to find a way to work our emotions out?
That is correct. It is very important to understand that the soul controls what happens to our bodies and our own soul controls the diseases and the physical ailments in our bodies. But it's also very important to understand that if our soul has emotional injuries, the interested spirits attach to us and cause even more problems to our body. In fact they can cause so many problems that, due to the spiritual connections that are interfering with our body, it develops diseases and we pass. So these interested spirits can have a great effect on our life and also on our happiness. [00:48:53.06]
Participant:  Do you consider yourself a person that is influenced by the malevolent and interested spirits? [00:48:59.01]
Yes. There is not a single person on earth who is not influenced by these spirits. [00:49:23.11]
Participant:  Everyone has only one spiritual body and one physical body?
That is correct.
4.2. How spirits control people on earth
Participant:  I don’t understand how a spirit influences you because I feel that the spirit is separated from the soul. [00:49:49.03]
The spirit, a different person to yourself, is connecting to you because of the emotional injuries in your spirit body. This spirit has their own soul which is also injured and they have their own addictions and their own emotional problems and their own unhealed belief systems that are out of harmony with love. And this is one reason why they connect to other people; because they have addictions of their own that they would like to meet through you. And it's through the spirit body that we allow them to take our emotional energy; in fact for many of us, we actually give them our emotional energy. [00:51:03.20]
I could give you an example of how this operates on earth and then you may get an idea of how it operates in the spirit world. Have you ever noticed that when you go into a shop and there's a very angry person wanting to be served, that the angry person often gets the most attention? And usually this is because of the fear of the shop assistants, and the fear in the shop assistants panders to the anger in the person they are serving. [00:52:02.05] 

A man who is afraid of an angry woman will pander to the angry woman
So, here we have the shop assistant and here we have the person who is being served. One person is projecting an emotion of anger and if the other person worries or is afraid of anger, their fear will cause them to serve. This is what you would classify as a sympathetic attraction. A sympathetic attraction is caused by one person having one type of emotion and the other person having another type of emotion that supports the first. So when anger is given to a person, this other person will generally only respond positively if they are afraid of anger. (If they are not afraid of anger or angry themselves, they will respond very differently.) This is what you would classify as a co-dependency. The angry person needs people who are afraid and the way she controls them is by projecting anger at them so that their fear causes them to react. [00:53:57.14]
Now remember I said that when we pass over into the spirit world, we are barely any different than when we were on earth. So when an angry woman passes into the spirit world, she will remain an angry woman, at least at the time of her passing and shortly afterwards. So now imagine she is a spirit; she is still going to think that the way to control fearful people is to get angry with them and she will be very effective in controlling people on earth by projecting her anger at people. The people won't know why they feel afraid but they will do things to stop themselves from feeling afraid. And in that moment she can drop thoughts into their mind of what to do in order to make their fear go away and that's how she will control them. She might not be a malevolent spirit, but she is certainly angry and misguided and she’s also arrogant thinking that she can control people by making people feel afraid all the time. [00:55:52.14] 
This is the way in which spirits control people. It's very similar to the way people control people because remember a person who has died and passed over is really very little different in terms of their emotional make up. So they'll often have the same desire to control people as they had when they existed on earth. [00:56:57.29]
Participant:  Are all our actions generated by the influence of spirits? [00:57:04.17]
No, not all of our actions are generated by the influence of spirits. It depends on how much we have learnt to use our own will. If we are a person who knows our self very well and understands all of our own emotional injuries, then most of what we do will be from our own desire. But the reality is that most of us do have a large degree of emotional injury and we also have many physical addictions and these things are manipulated by spirits. [00:58:18.25]
5. Physical ailments are caused by the soul
5.1. Remedies that treat the physical or spirit body do not address the cause
Participant:  What do you think about homeopathic and flower essences to treat those addictions and emotional problems?
Let me tell you very bluntly what I feel about those things (smile). Most homeopathic remedies and other things that affect the spirit body, they do not affect the soul. If you have a look at the iris of the person, once you use the homeopathic remedy, you will find that there is very little or no change in the eyes. This is a demonstration that the soul has not changed. [00:59:09.26]
Mankind has become addicted to using remedies that make them feel better but do not cause any change to the soul. We need to do the soul work to actually change the iris and show us that we have really changed the problem. The problem with most of the medical professions on the planet is that they either work on trying to fix the physical body or fix the spirit body but they do not work on the soul. A physical thing cannot work on the soul; a physical thing can only work on the physical body or the spirit body. The soul needs some different things in order to change and you can give it a homeopathic remedy or a flower essence or a medical pill but in the end you are only fixing the effect. [01:00:43.15]

All physical ailments are effects of a cause that is located in the soul
Everything that happens to the bodies is just the effect of the cause that is in the soul. If we focus on the cause in the soul, all the effects will disappear and the iris demonstrates the change. This is the power of seeing the eye. Through seeing the eye you can see whether the actual cause has been removed. [01:01:28.10] 

Removing a cause in the soul will show a change in the iris of the eye
5.2. Spirit attachments can cause health problems
Now it is true that some physical things that you can do to the spirit body and physical body can cause a disconnection with spirits. For example, if a spirit is attached to the spirit body of a person, if you give the person a slight electrical charge that is not intense enough to hurt the person, the spirit is super sensitive to this charge and will temporarily step away from the person. [01:02:16.28] 
Now if this charge happens regularly the spirit won't want to stay with the person anymore and so whatever problem the spirit was causing in the person will go and this will actually affect the person's wellbeing. The person will feel better because the spirit is no longer influencing them. However, the reason why the person attracted the spirit has yet to be addressed in the soul. So there is a chance that the person will attract another spirit of a similar nature who then also starts to influence them. It's only when we remove the cause from the soul that all of the external effects disappear. In addition, the marks that appear in our iris will disappear showing that we have actually solved the cause of the problem rather than just the effect of the problem. [01:03:56.04] 
Now of course many people find this confronting because many of us have invested large amounts of our time becoming medical practitioners learning how to correct the problems of the spirit and physical bodies. But what we need to do instead is focus more attention on the soul as the cause of the problem. [01:04:46.15]
5.3. Removing emotional error from our souls cures illness and aging
Participant:  You said we could heal diseases of the soul with physical things? What would be the right things to mend it? [01:04:56.07]
There is some misunderstanding because I have not said that you can heal the soul through the physical body. You can only heal the physical body through the soul. [01:05:19.20]
Participant:  You said that we cannot heal the soul through physical things.
That's correct.
Participant:  So what do we need to heal the soul? [01:05:30.14]
These are all to do with the emotions. It is the condition of love that exists in the soul that determines the condition of both of the bodies. If the condition of love in the soul is very good, then the two bodies will experience very few problems. And in fact the soul can become at-one with God and from that moment on the soul will experience no problems and both the physical body and the spirit body will look around twenty five years of age. No matter how old you are, you will grow young again. Once all of the emotional addictions have been released and once love and truth are the dominant qualities in the soul, your physical appearance will be as if you are twenty five years of age, even if you've lived two hundred years. You would be the perfect picture of health. [01:07:03.10]
Instead what happens for most people is that their physical body slowly approaches the condition of their spirit body and by the time they die the physical body is very similar to the condition of the spirit body. The reason for this delay in the outward condition of the physical body relates to the seven year cycle of replication of the cells that the physical body continually turns over. In other words the cells in the physical body usually replace each other every seven years, so physically you are not the same person you were seven years ago. You have a completely different set of cells to what was present seven years ago. [01:08:34.12]
As we grow old it is demonstrating to us that the different problems that are occurring in our body are caused by the soul and they are caused by the love condition in the soul. So the key is to work through our emotions in such a way that we can learn to become more loving - as a feeling person and not as a thinking person. You cannot think your way into this condition. It is something that has to be experienced before you can get to the condition. [01:09:34.11]
Each of us here has the potential to be twenty five years old for the rest of our lives. However the reality is that there are many emotions inside of us that are causing destruction of our physical body and degradation in condition of our spirit body, and unless we are prepared to address these particular emotions we will grow old and die. [01:10:25.29]
Scientists have found what is called the death gene in the DNA structure of the physical body. Scientists do not understand why this gene exists and they are attempting to remove the gene through genetic manipulation. But the gene is caused by the condition of the soul and until the soul changes in its condition of love, this gene will remain in the physical body. [01:11:17.20]
6. We can only grow in love by removing unloving causes from our souls
Participant:  Instead of focusing on getting rid of the bad emotions wouldn't it be best to focus on increasing the love? 
The love cannot increase while the bad emotions exist. The only way love is going to improve is to release the emotions that cause a lack of love. Many people try to be more loving while the emotions that cause the lack of love still exist and this is the reason their irises remain marked and scarred. They are attempting to become more loving but there are still unloving things that are demonstrated by the iris and this indicates that the soul still has the unloving condition. [01:12:57.24]
Now if there is an unwillingness to address the unloving condition, then a person cannot become more loving. You can try to be more loving, but the soul will still have the reason for the unloving behaviour and therefore it will manipulate you into doing the unloving thing, and this is what many people call the subconscious. It's the soul that has the unloving causal emotion that pushes us into acting a certain way and unless we release the underlying unloving cause from the soul, then this unloving behaviour will automatically occur no matter how hard we try to make it stop. [01:14:08.15] 
This is why many religions have not been effective in changing the loving behaviour of people because many religions create a lot of laws that they say are about love, but unless the heart changes, a person will still desire to do those things against the law. And this is why many of us feel so guilty when we go to a religion because there is a long list of laws that we would like to follow, but in the soul there are unloving things that cause us to act unlovingly and to break the list of laws. And then we're told we must feel guilty but in reality guilt is a very ineffective emotion. [01:15:29.25]
We need to find the cause as to why we are unloving and once we release this cause by experiencing it, we will automatically become more loving. Interestingly too, when we release the cause of the unloving emotion, the iris will demonstrate that something has been released, because the eye is the mirror of the soul. And so the eye becomes a powerful measuring tool as to what is occurring in the soul. [01:16:34.00]
Now the reason we raised all of this was that it's the unhealed emotions in the soul that cause attractions of spirits and these spirits manipulate us through the unhealed emotions of the soul. [01:17:18.11]
Participant:  I really like the idea of being two hundred with an appearance of twenty five. How old are you? 
I am forty nine years old.
Participant:  I am satisfied.
You’re satisfied! (Laughter) Why are you satisfied?
Participant:  You appear like you’re forty nine.
You feel I look forty nine?
Participant:  Yes. Some people look younger or older but I looked at you and thought you’re around forty eight, forty nine. [01:18:34.19]
You have a spirit telling you how old I am actually (smile). How many of the rest of you thought I was forty nine? No one. The reality is, as you release more emotions, your grey hair will turn the colour it used to be and your body will grow young again. I feel much better than when I was twenty five. I used to be very, very sick when I was young. I was hospitalised at the age of two and had a part of my bowel removed. I was very, very sick up until the age of thirty three and once I started practicing these principles and working on the emotions that were in my soul, over a period of time I started becoming much better and I actually feel much better now than when I was young. [01:20:20.01]
Participant:  I consider myself a phoenix because I have been very close to death three times.
Yes, many people have had many times when they've nearly died and sometimes it's our benevolent friends in the spirit world who are the only reason why we're still alive. One of the roles of good spirits is to keep us alive but they do find it very difficult because of the malevolent and interested spirits, and the emotional addictions that are within us. [01:21:30.05]
6.1. Malevolent spirits are capable of becoming benevolent 
Participant:  Can those malevolent spirits one day become benevolent spirits? [01:21:37.05]
Well I have personally known many malevolent spirits who have become benevolent spirits but this required a change in their soul where they had to stop exercising their rage and begin to learn how to be more loving. They had to decide to do that themselves and they are then often helped by other spirits to become benevolent. [01:22:22.23]
Any person in the spirit world is not permanently in their current condition. Any person can grow in love, so even people on earth who arrive in the spirit world in what is called the hells, which are the lower regions of darkness in the first dimension; they still have the ability to progress and to grow in love. No single person is ever restricted from growing in love. [01:23:32.07]
Participant:  Are there still going to be masculine and feminine parts of the soul when the soul is complete and in contact  with God? [01:23:52.13]
I have answered that and many similar questions in a talk that I gave in Belo Horizonte two weeks ago entitled “The Truth About: The Human Soul” and “The Truth About: Reincarnation and Spirits”. When the soul becomes a unified soul again it does not have a gender. You and your other half, who is your soulmate, will become one again. You will each have the memories and the emotional experience of the other. As a result of this you will be a unified complete soul that is fully self aware, but this only happens after a lot of development in the spirit world. [01:26:12.25]
6.2. Learning about love requires us to see our unloving behaviour
Participant:  I had the idea that when you came here you were going to teach us how to love but now I get the feeling that you're also here to learn how to love more. Am I right? [01:26:23.01]
Firstly I am always learning how to love more. For the rest of my eternal existence, I will still be learning about love. The reason is that God is an infinite creature and God's love is infinite in nature and I am a finite person, I am not infinite. And because I am not infinite I will always need to learn more. However, there are many things to teach about love and I've talked a lot to people on our visit to Brazil about God's Love and also the love they share with others. In fact the main message that myself and Mary have is about how we can grow in love. [01:27:41.04]
However, the interested and malevolent spirits do interfere with the process of growing in love and our own emotional addictions have a huge effect on our ability to grow in love. It is pointless to talk about love without speaking about the unloving behaviour we have. Many people only want to hear about love while at the same time denying all unloving behaviour, and I cannot agree with these actions. [01:28:28.13]
As a human race we need to see how we are unloving. Once we see it, and we see the effects of our unloving behaviour, we will have a much greater motivation to change. So it is very important that any discussion about love also indicates the reasons why things become unloving. Many people who feel I'm being negative in a discussion will find that I am raising these issues because it is very important for all of us on earth to come to terms with what is unloving. Then we will have a desire to be more loving. If we ignore the effects of our own unloving behaviour and attempt to discuss love, it is not going to be effective. [01:29:51.13]
So we are all learning. I feel, because Truth is infinite and because God's Love is infinite, that there is always something more to learn about love and truth. But we must make sure that we're actually learning God's Love and Truth rather than our own concept of it. What we have found in most of our travels is that almost every person who comes to our seminars believes they are loving and many feel that they have very little to learn about love. But if that was the case there would be many more positive things happening on earth than what are currently happening. So we need to understand that we are all contributors to the unloving conditions on the earth and we need to have an openness to self examination to see the unloving things within us that cause damage to others. 
6.2.1. Changes to blemishes in the iris indicate changes in our level of love
The beauty of what Denny has already taught you with the iris is that we have a way of measuring the change and measuring how we are becoming more loving. If the iris is not changing in a positive direction where different blemishes in it are being removed, then the reality is that we are not becoming more loving, even if we think we are. In addition, if we find that over time the iris is getting more and more blemishes this is an indication that we are actually becoming more unloving; even if we believe we are loving, we are not. [01:32:17.20] 

Blemishes in the iris indicate how loving our soul is
In fact if you examine the iris of a child you will find that there are generally no blemishes in the iris of a child younger than two years of age. Blemishes only begin to appear as the child begins to exercise its will. And unfortunately because of the emotions of the child's environment, the child usually exercises its will in an unloving direction and this causes blemishes to begin appearing in the eye, which is telling us that the soul of the child is being damaged and is becoming more and more out of harmony with love. [01:33:35.00]
Usually by the time we are a teenager, many of these blemishes have become so ingrained that most people will never remove them for the rest of their life on earth. This shows us how resistive we are to becoming more loving. We wish to believe we are one thing and we get used to the façade, while the reality is that we are becoming more unloving and that is demonstrated in our eye. And this is a very important scientific fact to recognise for ourselves. You can do any work you wish on the physical and spirit bodies but unless you change the soul, the eye will show you that nothing has changed. [01:34:55.11] 
6.2.2. Blemishes in the iris indicate the level of spirit influence we are under
Now unfortunately these blemishes that appear in the eye are the signs of our own emotional problems and it is through our emotional problems that are out of harmony with love that spirits can affect us. So there is a direct linkage between the soul's condition, the condition of the iris and how much spirit influence we will come under. The more marks there are in our iris, the higher a likelihood that we have more intense spirit influence because these marks in our iris are demonstrating our emotional addictions and it's the things that are out of harmony with love that create the imperfections that spirits can manipulate. [01:36:47.14]
6.3. Dealing with our unloving emotions
Participant:  At the moment I feel I need to take note of my emotions daily. If not I think that I am an arrogant bitch or I am an enraged killer or whatever. So it’s new for me to discover that it is not only me that dictates my behaviour but also spirit world influences. So for example, today before I came here, I was screaming because I was basically shut up as a child. 
Can I first say that when you honour your soul, you will feel the need to do emotional work every single day? You will not put it off for weeks at a time or just go and see a therapist once a month; you will need to do something every single day to allow the expression of your emotions. And this is a part of loving yourself. [01:40:08.14]
We were taught when we were young to not love ourselves and so many of us have really no idea how to love ourselves. We believe we do, but often we have no idea. And part of loving ourselves is allowing the soul to feel the truth of your own experience. So when you were shut down as a child, this created a lot of anger and frustration and fear and grief. And the anger and frustration must be released before you'll even be able to feel the fear that was created. And the fear will need to be released by experiencing it, and then you'll get to the intense emotional experience of the sorrow that you need to experience. Every single person who has ever lived will need to go through this process if they wish to become a happier and more loving person. It's very important to understand that. [01:41:45.08]
I feel many people on the planet have no understanding of that and as a result they become addicted to dealing with the effects in their bodies. But all of the ill health or lack of health that is happening in their bodies is a result of all of this pent up emotion sitting in their soul. And this pent up emotion in their soul must be experienced in order to be released. [01:42:26.25]
When we were a child we naturally experienced it, but our parents and our environment started shutting down the experience. This is why after two years of age, after already being suppressed so much, blemishes start appearing in the iris of the child indicating that there are emotions in the soul that are now out of harmony with love that have been bottled up in the soul. And the more emotion that gets bottled up, the more blemishes appear in the iris, indicating that the soul is becoming more and more overburdened with the pressure of not being able to experience emotions. So I agree you will have to go through these emotional experiences. [01:44:05.15]
6.3.1. Our emotional injuries are finite
Participant:  At the moment I am feeling a lot of fear, and I need courage to face the fear that I can go through the emotional process that I need to go through. Sometimes I feel like, “Is there any end?” and I am also dealing with that fear as well. [01:45:03.10]
The soul is like a bottle of water. 
Imagine this water is dirty water; there is only so much dirty water in the bottle. If you tip it out slowly, it will take a long time before the dirty water is emptied out. If you tip it out fast, then all the dirty water will flow much more quickly. The thing that limits the flow of emotion from our soul is the emotion of fear and fear is like a restriction that is placed upon our emotional expression. [01:46:01.17]
Every fear has a belief associated with it, a belief that is out of harmony with love and in itself it is also emotional. So for example, one fear that we may have is that we may never be loved. This is a fear, not a reality, because the reality is that God already loves us. So we are already loved, we just cannot feel it and there must be something stopping us from feeling it. And if we examine our emotions more carefully, we find under the fear is the sorrow but above the fear are the addictions. The addictions are the things we create to avoid our fear, and our fears are the things that are being created to avoid our sorrow. And the only way we can process our way through this is to take away our addictions and we will be left with feeling our fears and our sorrow. And if you allow yourself to go through this process with God then there will be an end to it. [01:48:05.15]

Layers of emotions within our souls
There will be a time when the bottle is empty from the dirty water and then you can put clean water in it, but this takes time and you need to patient with yourself. There will be times as well where you feel there is no hope and that is also an emotion in the soul, a sorrow; that is out of harmony with love, because from God's perspective there is always hope. These are belief systems that have come to us, usually through our parents and through our environment, and the only way they will be released from us is by experiencing them. So you're on the right track. [01:49:18.05]
7. Emotions driving spirit influence
Now the reason why I wanted to explain this to you, and it is not everything I could explain, but it gives enough background for us to work with the spirit influence, is that if we can understand that all spirit influence comes from things that are within our soul, then we can begin to understand the types of influences that will be upon us. [01:50:09.10]
To give you some examples: if I am a male who has used women sexually through my life, then I will have certain emotional injuries in my soul that are out of harmony with love and in particular it will relate to how I treat women. If I pass into the spirit world without addressing these problems, then I will still continue to act out of harmony with love with women. If I cannot find women in the spirit world with whom to interact, then I will attempt to interact sexually with women on earth. There are specific ways I can do that. One way is by over-cloaking another male who has the same injury as I do and then I can share his body with him and therefore share his experiences with him. This is very similar to the way that I would share experiences if I was a drunkard on earth and I passed into the spirit world. I would still want to drink and so I over-cloak a man on earth who wants to drink and then I can share in his experience. So it is important for me to understand that if I do not address my own emotions before I pass, it is highly likely that I will become a person who harms a person on earth. [01:52:32.29]
Now there are many spirits around us who would like to talk to us about this and rather than doing this tonight we will leave this until tomorrow night. We will have some discussions with some of these spirits, helping them to understand why they are attracted to the earth and why they are influencing people on earth. It is important for us to understand on earth that the attraction of different types of spirits is going to be completely dependent on our soul and its condition of love and truth. And this condition is not defined by mankind's ideas of love and truth, but rather by God's definition of love and truth, which is very different to man's definition. [01:53:52.03]

Our soul condition, defined by God’s definition of Love and Truth, determines what spirit influence we attract
If I can understand this basic principle, then I will be able to start examining what potential influences I am under from the spirit world and this can help me greatly in my day to day life. It can help me address any physical problems I have with my body, but more importantly it can help me grow in my soul condition with respect to love, and that is really the most important thing. [01:54:41.18]
8. Closing Words
Now that's about all I can discuss with you tonight because it feels like the audience is very resistive to me discussing more. I would like to finish now because I go completely by how I feel the audience feels (smile). This will demonstrate the influences that many people on earth are under and will also indicate the types of spirits that may be influencing you. We're hoping of course to be able to help some of those spirits, but if we cannot, at least you will be able to see the types of spirits that surround us and the potential influence they have upon us. Mediumship with Mary - Spirit Influence: Part 1
What we're going to do today is we're going to do some mediumship of some spirits who have been wanting to speak with us. Some of them are what you would classify as angry spirits. Other ones are spirits who are helping people on Earth heal other people, and the third group of spirits that we may get to channel today will be a group of Celestial spirits. But we will not be able to translate the Celestial spirits because they give too much information too rapidly. But the other spirits we should be able to translate. [00:02:06.27] 
So Mary is going to be the medium and I will speak with the spirits. We have no fanfare we just get straight into involved with doing what we're doing. [00:02:37.02]
9. Channelling with a group of male spirits who are healers
Mary/Gerry:  Hello my name is Gerry and I was present at your discussion here last night. I represent a large group. We consider ourselves to be medicine men or healers. We have been involved with a great many people here in Brasilia and this region and we have some questions following your discussion last night. [00:03:19.29]
Mary/Gerry:  In your discussion you spoke of three types of spirits; those who you consider benevolent, malevolent and interested. Please understand that we come from long lines of men and women who have been involved in healing and we have felt very confident that we are benevolent spirits. However, during the discussion you spoke of things that we are not particularly clear on. [00:04:11.27] 
Mary/Gerry:  Of course there were many things you spoke of that we already know. For example you spoke of the removal of spirits from those on Earth in order to cure diseases. We are all very aware that spirits cause very many physical illnesses and mental ailments here on the Earth. It is for this reason that we know that we are benevolent. I am here however because there is some discussion amongst us surrounding this issue of the soul. [00:05:03.00] 
Mary/Gerry:  We are accustomed to moving spirits away from others, but we cannot see this thing you refer to as the soul. If I may give some small other details. We have been involved as guides to many of those who attended your talk last evening and we can see that there has been much success through us encouraging them in techniques that we know are effective. And also we have been able to work on the spirit body and physical body of many of their clients and this forms our second question, we do not see that there is a problem with what we have been doing and yet it seemed that you implied this. [00:06:17.19] 
9.1. Permanent healing takes place when the cause is addressed
Well if I can cover the second question first. There is definitely a problem with just curing the ailments of the physical and spirit bodies without addressing the underlying soul that drives those ailments.
Mary/Gerry: Why is this so? If we see that this person makes gains then in their life, why is it wrong?
Well there are many reasons why it is not the correct thing to do. If I can list a few of those reasons. Firstly, when you cure a physical problem in a person you will notice that in most cases, unless a spirit exorcism was involved, that the cure is not permanently effective, and this indicates that you are not actually curing the cause of the problem but actually you are attempting to cure the effect. If you had cured the cause of the problem, then the problem would not re-occur at a later time. So when you cure a problem in a person, if the cure is not a permanent cure, then this indicates that you have not found the underlying cause of the problem. [00:08:26.28]
9.2. God intended us to only have positive experiences
Mary/Gerry: From what we understand of life and living, there is a cycle that every person must pass through, that there is wellness and disease and this wellness and disease, happiness, unhappiness and these things form the balance of living, that this is a natural part of our existence. This is also as a person passes from an infant to an elderly person that this is the natural course of a life, and there are many experiences in each stage which are valuable.
And what I am saying to you is that that analysis of life is actually very incorrect. The reality is that God intended us all on Earth to be able to live a perfectly happy and healthy life without having any negative cycles and without even the necessity of the physical body dying. So what you call the cycle of life is more an expression of the soul-based injuries, and the results of soul-based emotional injuries that cause these problems rather than the cause of the real problem. 
Mary/Gerry: Then how is it that one would find meaning in their life?
Well all meaning in life comes from love.
Mary/Gerry: How would one know and understand love if they do not experience the opposite of love?
This idea that someone must experience the bad in order to feel the good is a very flawed illogical reasoning. The reality is that many of us have many positive experiences and have a large amount of gratitude for these positive experiences without having the need to have negative experiences. [00:11:22.08] 
9.2.1. Negative experiences are created by souls that are out of harmony with love
Unfortunately though, on this planet, negative experiences are created and it is created because the soul is out of harmony with love. When a soul is out of harmony with love, the spirit body and the physical body reflect the lack of condition and so the physical and spiritual bodies then need to be worked upon in order for a person to feel happy again. But unfortunately the real problem is not addressed and if we could address the real problem at the soul level, then there would be no physical or spirit body problems. There would also be no disease for you to need to cure. [00:12:28.08]
Mary/Gerry: There is still this issue for us of understanding how one could have meaning in such a life. What would be the purpose or substance of a life that is always happy?
Well the reality is that we can have much purpose in our life and be completely happy. God created us in order to discover our desires and follow these desires in order to discover our own personality. The negative experiences that occur in our lives are not necessary for us to discover ourselves and our personality. And in fact the negative experiences in our lives often create many problems for us in discovering our true nature. For example, you have yet to discover your true nature and one of the reasons why is because of the negative experiences in your life that have not been addressed. Rather you have explained them by saying that you need to have negative experiences in your life. But I am putting to you that you do not need to have negative experiences in your life in order to discover true happiness and contentment. 
Mary/Gerry: Indeed we defer with you upon this point. We do not feel that one has a personality except through the experiences of their life.
Well the reality again is that the soul contains the personality of the individual and this soul can develop over the period of its life through experience and therefore its personality may change to a degree. But each soul has been created with a unique personality and this personality exists before they begin to experience life. Now I know that you have many questions but I can more rapidly address these questions if you allow me to involve some other spirits in the interaction. 
Mary/Gerry: May we ask one more question?
Sure.
9.3. Love creates harmony
Mary/Gerry:  How is it that there may be harmony if each person is different? How would there ever be harmony between souls?
Well true harmony is only created when people love each other. The reality is that I can love you even though you have a different personality and even though you may have different desires than I do. And in fact if I love you completely I will enjoy the observation of you expressing your desires and personality and in this way there is complete harmony. The love that I have for you and the love you have for me means that we both allow each other to exercise our free will to enjoy life. And because I love you I will not harm you and because you love me you will not perpetrate violence or harm to me. It is actually love that creates harmony. [00:17:02.15]
Mary/Gerry:  Then is it fair to say that each of us is indeed love?
Well the reality is that God created each of us to express love but as you have seen there are many persons on Earth, and there are also many persons in the spirit world, who are not loving at all, and in fact they do much violence towards their neighbour. This is proof that while love is a potential inside of each of us, it doesn't mean that it is something that is inside each of us. Love is something that must be exercised and developed before it can be expressed and so each of us is not automatically love but rather each of us has the potential to be love. [00:18:14.11] 
Mary/Gerry:  And when we reach this point, this potential, is this then when all personality would leave?
No the reality is quite the opposite. When we reach the potential of love, our personality will be at its highest differential to every other personality. So the development in love will also result in the development of our personality, but because we love each other we will automatically be in harmony with each other even though we have different personality and desires. It is only the lack of love that causes disharmony.
Mary/Gerry:  This is interesting but we have never observed this.
Well this is something I would like to address. The location where you live in the spirit world still contains much disharmony and many of you are intellectually trying to create harmony rather than understanding the causes of the disharmony. There are other dimensions of the spirit world where people have learned how to live in harmony through growing in love and I would like to introduce you to some of these people so that you can see the difference between yourself, and the current belief systems that you hold, in comparison to where these people live and their belief system. 
What we can do is we can ask a group of spirits to come who have the power to temporarily take you to their home and you will be able to feel the difference in condition and therefore have something more to compare with. At the moment you are very focused upon the Earth and very focused upon influencing people on the Earth, but not all of this influence is beneficial to those people. If you can learn more of the truth, then you will be able to deliver more of the truth to people on Earth and this will greatly assist you and them to grow and become more loving and also happier. You will find this will stop the up and down process of life, where there is happiness and then unhappiness and then happiness, or where there is pain and then no pain, rather life will become more a progressive life, progressing towards a beautiful location full of love and happiness without the experience of unhappiness. This is the life that is possible both on Earth and it is also possible in the spirit world. [00:22:20.18] 
Mary/Gerry:  Is this related to this issue of the soul, which we are not aware of?
It is very much related to the issue of the soul. True development can only occur at the soul level and when true soul development occurs, the spirit body changes to reflect the change in condition. If I can bring spirits to you to show you this it may help you better understand what I am speaking of.
9.4. The soul is distinct from the spirit body and controls energy in the spirit body
Mary/Gerry:  We have more questions surrounding this issue of a soul. We had believed that this thing that you named the spirit body was in fact the soul. We see the illnesses within this spirit body and we see the many other spirits who feed upon the spirit bodies of others. [00:23:37.24]
And you see the energy going out from the person who has the illness, and this person is in the spirit world, and you see the energy coming out of them then the energy going into others, and you see the energy returning.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes we see this especially with people upon the Earth. Many times there are many spirits; some twenty, thirty, forty spirits upon a person and when we move them there is much relief within that person on the Earth. Our question is how can this influence of the soul, which we cannot see and which we assume that these other spirits cannot see. How can the influence of this soul affect those spirits who attack others on Earth? [00:24:51.13]
Well the soul controls what kind of energy comes out of the spirit body and it controls what kind of injuries the spirit body has. When there is a breakdown in the energetic structure of the spirit body, this leaves openings for spirits to be attracted and then to feed off of the energy that comes out of those locations. When you remove the spirits from the person, while the person experiences immediate relief, you have yet to understand why the spirits were attracted to the person in the first place. The reason why the spirits were attracted in the first place is because of the unhealed energy condition of the spirit body, the fractures that you can see from the spirit world.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes we see these things and at times we have an effect upon these issues also, we are able to heal these in some way.
But do you notice when you concentrate your healing in those areas, as soon as you stop doing so the area begins also to expand again? In addition, have you noticed that when you concentrate your energy on those areas, there is a contraction of the energy in that particular area but there is a darker problem in the body? So while the problem is smaller, it is also more intense and these are indications that the soul is not being addressed. [00:27:08.09] 
Mary/Gerry:  So if all of these things are controlled by the soul, which we cannot see, how may we heal the soul? How may we assist these ones?
Well there are two particular things that I would like to mention to you about that. Firstly, it is important to know the condition of your own soul before you attempt to heal the soul of others and this is one thing that I would like to illustrate with you quite easily. What I would like to do is invite a group of spirits, one for each of you, who are in a better condition of love and who are able to show you other places in the spirit world in which there is more harmony. They will be able to give you some energy to take you to those locations temporarily. [00:28:20.24] 
9.5. Brighter spirits visit the male spirits
I'm going to ask them to come now. You will notice that these spirits are much brighter than yourselves and they also appear much happier than yourselves. However they are less arrogant than your selves.
Mary/Gerry:  What do you mean arrogant?
They have less of an emotion coming from them that they are extremely developed. Even though their spirit body demonstrates their development, they are also humble about their development.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes we see them now, we can observe the condition of their spirit body is quite fine and well, they are well physically. [00:29:26.00]
In comparison to yourself?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes. We were not comparing to ourselves but...yes.
Well the comparison is important because it will inform you some very basic truths about the spirit world that you are yet to personally understand.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes because we would not have viewed them as more well than ourselves for we see that we are of different characters. [00:30:18.13]
In what way are you of different characters?
Mary/Gerry:  For example, it is clear from our group that we are well versed in many therapies. We have much knowledge and wisdom that we can share with many. We have studied much and understood many different ways of healing and treating the bodies. [00:30:56.03]
But as I've already said to you if treating the soul is more effective, then much of this knowledge is really knowledge that is not beneficial. May I also point out to you that all of the spirits who have come to you, every single one of them knows more than you do? Many of them have been alive for much longer than you have and while they look younger than you, many of them are much older than you. In fact some of them are thousands of years older than you and therefore have a larger degree of knowledge. [00:31:44.23] 
Mary/Gerry:  But we cannot see the evidence of this knowledge inside of them.
That is because you cannot see the soul and you cannot see even the effects of the soul upon the body.
Mary/Gerry:  So how may we see this soul? We feel it is important to see the soul.
Well there is only one way to sense the soul and that is by using what you would call your soul perceptions. These are not perceptions that are available or senses that are available in your spirit body, nor are they senses that are available in somebody's physical body. And these sensory apparatus involve your emotions and these are parts of yourselves that you are yet to develop. We are getting ahead of ourselves I feel because if you could examine where these people live and examine the harmony in which they live, you will see that they come from a more advanced civilisation than that which you are involved in. [00:33:16.08]
So how about we go through a temporary experiment where they can take you to the location of their living and have you briefly experience what life would be like there and then we could discuss more about these issues surrounding the soul.
Mary/Gerry:  There is some discussion. We need to decide.
Remember that you will be coming back to the same location, so there is nothing for you to lose through this experiment. There is only the potential of gaining more information.
Mary/Gerry:  Because these ones are so different from us, it is difficult to understand what we may gain. However, we do concede that there is this issue of the soul, which we would like to learn more about. [00:34:25.05]
Well let's do one more experiment before you visit their location. Is there a single one of you who has the most amount of energy who is respected by all the others, who is willing to display their energy?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
Well how about that person come forth and what I'm going to do is ask one of the other brighter spirits who are present to come forth but I'm going to ask the spirit of the lowest development in their group to come forth. How old is that person in that group? [00:35:26.02] 
Mary/Gerry:  From our group?
From your group. How old is the person from your group?
Mary/Gerry:  He is very old and very wise.
When did he live on Earth?
Mary/Gerry:  Over five hundred years ago.
And where did he live?
Mary/Gerry:  He lived in this region. He was a native tribal man of this region. [00:35:51.10]
Good. Now we ask the other spirit who has come forth who is of the lowest development, if we ask how old he is.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes he is younger.
How old is he?
Mary/Gerry:  This is difficult because he does look quite young, but he says he lived upon the Earth eighty years ago.
So he died eighty years ago?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
And how old was he when he died?
Mary/Gerry:  Old, seventy-five.
So he is a hundred and fifty five years old in comparison to the spirit who is from your group who is five hundred and fifty years old? [00:36:53.02] 
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
9.5.1. Love creates brightness in the spirit body
Okay. Now if we have the spirit in your group demonstrate his brightness to the most intense that he can do it without harming himself.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
Now all of you can measure that brightness.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
And all of you can observe that brightness.
Mary/Gerry:  (Nods)
Now what I am going to do is ask the younger man who is a hundred and fifty five years old to demonstrate the power of his brightness to the point where he does not harm himself. [00:37:57.23] 
Mary/Gerry:  Yes. This is very bright we cannot see it more.
So you have had to close your eyes to the brightness? It is so bright that you cannot even observe it?
Mary/Gerry:  No we cannot.
In fact he could actually demonstrate even more brightness, but if he did so he would harm your spirit body, which is something that he would choose to not do. [00:38:32.16] 
Mary/Gerry:  What is this wisdom? We should learn this.
Well firstly if I could summarise what has happened. The brightness of the spirit body is determined by the condition of love in the soul and the higher condition of love in the soul creates the possibility of more energy being displayed in the spirit body. When these spirits first came to visit you, had to reduce their spirit body power in order to not harm you. Their normal power of the body is so powerful that under normal circumstances they can harm your spirit body and this demonstrates how much love they have in their soul because the power is related to how much love exists. [00:39:48.19]
The reason why I have asked this demonstration to occur is to show you that far more is going on than what you can currently imagine and therefore it will give you more information and more willingness to investigate more thoroughly and more willingness to listen without argumentation rather than arguing the points of things. It is best before you come to any conclusion that you allow a full demonstration of experiments, which can illustrate much truth to you, without you wanting to know the information in advance before you engage the experiments that will actually inform you of what is really going on. [00:41:02.03] 
Mary/Gerry:  Yes. There are many questions.
I understand completely that there would be and I am at your disposal to answer these questions after a few more experiments. And also the spirits who have come to you, they are also willing to answer many of your questions and they also have some very many rapid ways of giving you answers, which you do not currently understand. [00:41:41.04]
Mary/Gerry:  It is simply that we are accustomed to understanding and investigating before we take some action.
Yes I know this is a normal way for you, but actually it is driven by a fear that exists inside of you and you will come to see this in time. But if we can put that aside for a moment and conduct a few more experiments then this will help you and assist you to have more knowledge, and therefore you can then work out what kind of decision you would like to make with this knowledge. [00:42:32.09] 
Mary/Gerry:  Very well.
9.6. The male spirits visit a brighter location in the spirit world
Well what I would like each of you to do is to stand near to one of these brighter spirits and he will embrace you and he will be able to take you to a location for a short period of time to show you other locations that are available in the spirit world and then I'd like you to come back and speak with us. This will not take long in our time and so we can wait. 
Mary/Gerry:  There is some discomfort with this arrangement. (Long pause) Yes indeed we have done that.
And what did you observe?
Mary/Gerry:  This is very pleasant. However there is much confusion inside of us now. How may we go to these other places? It did not seem possible that we could feel these things and see such things. [00:44:20.29]
Have you ever experienced a place as beautiful?
Mary/Gerry:  No. But it stirred feelings within myself of a memory of childhood.
And so it made you feel quite uncomfortable?
Mary/Gerry:  No this was a feeling of freedom...
That you have not experienced since, since childhood?
Mary/Gerry:  No. It is like a memory of something wonderful that I did not think would be possible. It is a sensation that is now confusing for me and wonderful at the same time. What is this? [00:45:30.04]
Well this is a growing feeling of desire. When you were a child on Earth you had this childlike way of investigating the world. You were not restricted by the ideas and concepts of mankind and so you were willing to experiment with everything. This caused you to wander through your childhood in an exploratory way, an experimental way, and this exploratory way encouraged all of your senses and this was a very enjoyable experience. But as you grew older your environment closed down this particular experience; it caused you to suppress your desire and caused you to become very grown up in your nature. In the first century I said to people that you must become as little children to enter the Kingdom of God and this is one of the things that I meant. [00:47:13.03] 
Mary/Gerry:  But I do not know how to have this feeling again except with this man who took me to his home.
Well if I can explain some basic principles of the spirit world and then I would love to leave you in his care so that he can show you how to develop yourself in this way. And this applies to all of you who are present, each of these people would like to assist you but we need to have some basic understandings about the spirit world that are not currently a part of your awareness. [00:48:02.17] 
Mary/Gerry:  And this issue of the soul is this related to the soul also?
Yes this is very much related to the soul. In fact without understanding the soul you will not be able to understand the things that are being told to you.
Mary/Gerry:  Okay.
9.7. Progression in the spirit world occurs by growing in love
The way the spirit world is constructed is that there are boundaries of love separating each dimension. These dimensions are often referred to as spheres and these spheres or dimensions have an interstellar boundary that is a boundary of love that separates the locations. Without a growth in love in your soul you will not be able to move into these new locations. Now there are two basic ways to grow love in your soul. One of the ways is what I would call the development of natural love. Natural love is the type of love that you have in your own soul that you are willing to give to other people and this natural love must be brought into harmony with God's definition of love. This is one way of progressing but it is the slowest way. [00:49:53.06]
The second way of progressing is to grow in love by developing the soul with God's help. At this stage you are not sure of a belief in God but there is a God and this God has love to give each of you. When you receive this love and go through a process of what is called forgiveness and repentance, these processes will open you to the experience of God's Love and God's Love will enter your soul, and this will immediately cause a transformation in your soul into a new condition. This is a very rapid way of progressing but it involves feeling the emotions of the soul, it involves engaging your desires and engaging your personality and becoming the person who God created you to be rather than the person you imagine you want yourself to be. [00:51:15.01]
This is the process that these very bright spirits can assist you with. The reason why the relatively young man in front of you who is one hundred and fifty five years old can have so much power; is because he has developed his soul by connecting to God. [00:51:44.06] 
Mary/Gerry:  Please understand that it is not a location that I am interested in travelling to but a feeling within myself I wish to experience again. This feeling was like a drug for a moment, a beautiful feeling that I have not had for so long.
Yes that is correct. I understand that it's the feeling that you want, but the feeling will also create a different world around you and so the two things, location and feeling, are both related to each other. Each feeling in the spirit world has a location where it is best experienced. Currently your current condition causes you to be attracted to your current location and if you are honest with yourself you are not really very happy with your correct location. In many ways it is not very different to what was on the Earth in comparison to the location where those spirits were. [00:53:18.28] 
Mary/Gerry:  I had felt that this place where I lived is the spirit world.
Well it is the spirit world but it is only a small part of the spirit world, and in fact it is a location in the first dimension of the spirit world. There are many more dimensions in the spirit world, each with greater happiness because each has greater love, and each one of those locations is best suited for the development of certain qualities. You will find that if you attempt to express the childlike quality that you had just briefly in your current location it is very, very difficult to do. But when you went to the new location it was very much more easy to express that emotion. [00:54:30.27] 
Mary/Gerry:  So it feels now that I cannot feel this feeling.
That is correct.
Mary/Gerry:  How can I feel it again? Must I go to the other place to feel it again?
Well a spirit can temporarily take you to the other place in order to help you feel the same feeling again but to permanently get to the other place you will need to do emotional work on your soul. You will need to learn new lessons regarding love and you will need to release unloving behaviour that is a part of you currently. The only way that you can progress to the new location permanently is for a permanent change to occur in your soul. So let's just for a moment again ask those spirit friends just to take you temporarily back to the location again so that you can experience that emotion again. [00:56:00.03] 
Mary/Gerry:  This is the most beautiful emotion I can imagine.
There are many more beautiful emotions that far exceed what you can imagine but gaining even higher locations can only experience them. For this to occur permanently a change must occur in your soul and the spirit body is a reflection of the soul's condition. 
Now remember at the beginning of this conversation that you mentioned the different things that you were doing to people on Earth in order to improve their spirit body? Can you see that if they follow your advice without changing the soul, they will not be able to experience this beautiful feeling? [00:57:12.18] 
Mary/Gerry:  So how may I and how may they engage this other feeling?
Well there are primarily two things that need to be done. A person needs to focus on their own personal desires and to do this they need to go back to their childhood at a time when their desires were more pure. But when they go back to their childhood there are many other emotions that come up, emotions regarding sad things that occurred in their childhood and different fears they experienced in their childhood. And these feelings need to be felt and experienced completely before the other feeling can grow. So it is a combination of following your desires and passions and then, whenever you become frustrated, allowing the sadness and grief to pour out of you. 
9.7.1. Exercising forgiveness and repentance is the most rapid way to grow
As I mentioned though there is a much faster way to do this and that is, by engaging two primary processes and these processes are called forgiveness and repentance; being completely sorry for the things you have done in your past. Forgiveness is about forgiving others about what they have done to you and repentance is about having a feeling of sorrow about what you have done to others. Both of these processes are very emotionally intense and if we engage God in the process, we will be able to feel God's Love enter us and this will automatically expose the emotions.
9.8. The spirits experiment with receiving God’s Love
So there is one more experiment I would like for you to try and this experiment will assist you to understand what I mean. 
Mary/Gerry:  Yes, we are ready.
If you can for a moment remember when you had a feeling of desire and in particular when you were on Earth the feeling of desire of love for another person. Can you remember that feeling?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes I remember this love; I had a love for my mother. Is this what you mean?
Yes that is correct. Imagine now that God is your mother and just say to yourself, “I would love to experience that kind of motherly love from God and I'm willing to feel any emotion that I need to feel in order to experience this love.” And rather than just saying that to yourself allow yourself to feel that as a desire. “So if there is a God, please let me experience this love,” and feel that desire of “please” as a feeling towards God rather than a thought. You will try that now? [01:01:35.19]
Mary/Gerry:  Yes I feel something very strong and different.
And you can feel some emotions coming up. Allow yourself to feel these emotions. You're allowed to cry and you're allowed to feel any other things and in fact God wishes to help you to feel these things. Now if I can just briefly stop you. You will notice this feeling is very beautiful but at the same time very emotional. In addition, if you look down at your body you'll notice there has been a change.
Mary/Gerry:  Yes I feel like a completely different person already.
Now this is the Divine Love that I have been speaking about and this is the love that mankind is missing. It has the most power of anything in the universe and it has the capacity to completely heal the soul and therefore to completely heal everything without any other work being required. [01:03:10.03] 
Mary/Gerry:  Thank you. We have understood much now.
Now the feelings you are experiencing are the feelings that exist in your soul and by allowing these feelings you are allowing a consciousness of your soul. This is why you have not been conscious of your soul before because before you were closing down these feelings and therefore closing down an awareness of your soul. [01:03:51.23] 
Mary/Gerry:  We do not wish to speak further in front of others.
Is that because you are embarrassed of your emotions?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
Well from my perspective there is no need for you to be embarrassed of your emotions. If you have a look at the record of my life you can see that I have had to experience many emotions. I am not embarrassed to continue speaking with you and I do not feel judgemental of you having these emotions. I understand that different people here may feel that judgement, but they are ones who are yet to experience their emotions. [01:04:43.18]
You see once you experience your emotions you realise the power of them and therefore you can never go back to the old way of dealing with things.
Mary/Gerry:  It is true we feel changed.
9.9. It is important for spirits to understand truth when assisting people on Earth
Can I discuss one more issue with you and this is the issue of healing people on Earth?
Mary/Gerry:  Yes.
Can you see that attempting to heal people on Earth without knowledge of the soul and without knowledge of this newfound experience means that these people get mislead into teachings that are actually counterproductive to their own development? [01:05:48.03] 
Mary/Gerry:  (Nods) 
It is very important for any spirit who wishes to help a person on Earth that they understand the truth because once you understand the truth you can be of the greatest assistance. If you compound error on the Earth, error grows and when the people on Earth pass over into the spirit world they take these errors with them and this causes them much harm in their future life. If you can imagine if somebody had taught you the truths that I am now teaching you and if they had taught you this many years ago even while you were on Earth, imagine how beautiful your experience now may be. [01:06:51.10] 
Mary/Gerry:  It is hard to imagine, but it should be so different.
Yes. So it is very important for you to consider all of these things that we have discussed and if you are going to assist the people on Earth, assist them to understand the truth, rather than understanding things that you have learned intellectually, help them understand the things that you are now going to learn emotionally. Remember it is the soul that is the important thing. [01:07:42.07] 
Mary/Gerry:  At this time we do not feel that we can assist anyone for we must learn everything anew. We must become students.
That is true but really everyone is a student. I am just as much a student as you are and so every student can help another student, as long as the person who is doing the helping actually knows and experiences the things he is teaching and as long as the things that he is teaching are in harmony with all of the truths in the universe, and not just their own concept and idea of what the truth may be. [01:08:50.27] 
Mary/Gerry:  There is much that we need to now consider and feel and there are many new avenues open to us, we see this.
May I make one more suggestion? The spirits who are in front of you who have been patiently waiting for you through this conversation all have a lot of truth in their soul and they also have a lot of brightness, which is an indication of how loving they are. These spirits are the best persons to assist you. If you can engage in learning with them, you will learn many things very rapidly and you'll be in a position of much greater personal happiness and also in a position to assist others in a much stronger manner. [01:09:56.27]
This is what the people here in Brazil need. As you know there is a very large amount of sprits who have settled here in Brazil who are having a very strong negative impact upon Brazilians, but neither the Brazilians nor the spirits believe this impact is negative. But as I've just demonstrated to you, all of these teachings neglect the soul and therefore they are not beneficial, and the more important soul teachings are being neglected as a result. This is the way that you can assist the people here, by helping them understand the soul, by you coming to understand it and by helping them to come to understand this relationship with God that is possible, and by you engaging this same relationship. When you do that, people in Brazil have a great capacity to change, as you know many of them are connected with emotion from childhood and this is a great benefit to them. [01:11:32.05] 
Mary/Gerry:  Yes we would like to leave now. Thank you and we can see that there is much that we need to learn surrounding the soul.
Yes that is good and it has been a pleasure to be able to speak with you.
10. Discussion about the channelling 
Are there any questions that any of you had about that channelling? [01:12:32.25]
10.1. An example of a man being influenced by angry spirits
Participant:  There is a pain that has been bothering me in my back ever since I arrived here. I have been feeling a lot of pain and being very agitated since I arrived.
Yes. You have some very angry spirits who are with you who do not want you to be here. They are very concerned that if you hear more of what we have been discussing, that you will question your own understanding of the spirit world and this will cause them to disconnect.
Participant:  I’m discovering that I don’t know anything. I have to erase and start everything again.
Yes. These spirits have been influencing your life and the spiritual pursuits you have had in the past have helped them to influence your life. They are very concerned that if you learn more, there will be a separation between you and them and they do not want this separation to occur. [01:13:58.01] 
Participant:  That's why I am here. When I was travelling here I was thinking about it.
Yes it is very important to understand how heavily we are influenced by many spirits, who want to keep us in the same place. They do not wish us to grow and therefore when there is a new truth presented to us they wish to make us not be able to stay and listen, and they often do this by causing pain to the physical body trying to push you to go away again. This is happening to groups very regularly in Brazil. We have noticed this happening in each group we have been to where there are spirits who are very invested in keeping the person in the current place they are, rather than allowing the person to grow. And this is one reason why we have been having this discussion last night and tonight; because we want to help people see what is happening and therefore question what is going on. [01:15:34.21]
We see there is much healing going on in this region but from a spirit perspective it is quite violent in its nature. Many spirits are pushing other spirits away and they do this in order to convince people on Earth that a real healing has taken place. But quite often these spirits are being violent towards these other spirits and this is causing these spirits who have been pushed away much damage. In addition it gives the false impression to people on the Earth that a true healing has occurred when the reality is all that's happened is that a spirit has disconnected. And while spirits disconnecting is beneficial we are just swapping one group of spirits for another group of spirits, and this is not productive for our future progression. [01:16:55.04] 
Participant:  What's the solution?
The solution is to understand the truth about the soul and about love and to open up completely to the concept that maybe there is much more for us to individually learn from people who are more developed in love, that exist in the spirit world and who are able to give information to Earth.
We do not want to keep connecting with spirits who are masquerading as good people by putting on a façade; and many of us are being fooled by the facade. We need to allow ourselves to see what is truly happening and then we will question things more; we will begin to open to our own soul and as we do that we will find more truth and we'll see that what most people are being taught is just a fraction of what is possible to learn. And we need to learn with our heart not just with our head. We need to learn how to feel the feelings of love and how to feel the feelings of desire rather than attempting to suppress such feelings with our intellect. [01:18:40.08]

We find it very interesting what happens with so much spirit influence. People on Earth have very little idea how heavily they are pushed around by spirits in the spirit world. These spirits often make out that they are good but they do not know enough to be able to teach people on Earth the truth. [01:20:31.19] 
10.2. Energy flow during co-dependent addictions 
Participant:  You talked a lot about the influence of spirits in the spiritual world and I would like to ask about the relation of this stealing of energy that spirits do not only in the spiritual world, but also amongst the spirits of people who are on Earth.
Who are on Earth, yeah?
Participant:  So with the fact that we're here, if our spirits are influencing each other, is it stronger than the influence of spirits from the spirit world upon us?
I understand, yes. Firstly if we can understand some basic things. Have you heard of the psychological term co-dependency? Co-dependency is basically when one person has a need that the other person is willing to fulfil, as long as this person who has a need, has this person fulfil it; so each of us are involved in fulfilling each other's need. [01:22:22.27]
Once we are in a state of complete love, we no longer have needs. Because we no longer have needs, we therefore no longer need another person to give us something. This is a state of pure love where we're no longer needing anything from anyone. This is very different to desire. Desire is when you desire to give and desire to share, without being caused by a need within you. [01:23:09.15]
Now every need could be said to be an addiction and every need creates an openness in your soul, a willingness to share your soul energy with another person as long as they are willing to share their soul energy with you. And this is what is co-dependency, from a spiritual perspective. Each of us is willing to give something to someone else as long as we get something in return. This is what has to be given up. If it is not given up, any person on Earth and any person in the spirit world can draw our energy from us. The main difference though between a person on Earth and in the spirit world is that we cannot see the person in the spirit world doing it. If a person comes up on Earth and draws our energy away from us, we can often see them doing it and we feel these yucky feelings within, and as a result we feel like we don't want to spend time with that person.
In addition though if a person comes up on Earth and they give us feelings that we like, we will definitely engage them and we will definitely share feelings that they like, we will give them what they like in order to get what we like and we are happy with those arrangements. These are the addictions we need to give up. Once we give up these addictions there will be no sharing of energy between myself and another unless it is through my desire. I will not unknowingly share; I will do it now consciously. I will be conscious of the energy that's going out of me, and conscious of what is being projected at me. [01:25:58.11]
Mary: The best way that we can protect ourselves from these situations with other people on Earth and people in spirit, is to know ourselves well. Sometimes we examine our relationships a lot and so maybe we're not as likely to have co-dependency in those relationships with people we can see. But we're still happy to have those addictions met with people we can't see and for some people it's the reverse because they have fear about spirits because they sense them then they try to protect from these influences but then they have the co-dependency with other people on Earth. So the only way is really to know yourself and desire to heal yourself, to keep your energy for yourself.
The more loving you become, the more you'll give your time and energy, as a gift without expecting anything in return, and this is the most loving position you can have. But because most people do not understand this is happening as a feeling, they often believe they have control over it and often they have no idea that there are all of these emotions coming out of them that they are completely unaware of and that they have no intellectual knowledge that it is happening. 
So the key is to engage the soul in this process of feeling and feeling love and feeling other emotions.
Mary: All of our addictions with people or spirits come because we stop feeling. We want these relationships to help us stop feeling.
So for example if you feel lonely when you're by yourself, then there'll be this feeling coming out of you, “Please stop me from feeling lonely,” and you'll want other people to come into your life to help you not feel lonely anymore. So it is the denial of the feeling, denial of the loneliness, that causes the demand to come out of you to have other people make you feel the opposite of lonely - happy and content; to make other people feel like you're sharing in their life so that you can feel like you're sharing in life. And this is how we avoid many of our emotions. We have emotions that we don't like to feel and so we ask other people to help us feel better and that's where the addiction begins. [01:29:49.02]
Mary:  And what's the alternative, what should we do?
The alternative is to feel the sad emotion and experience the loneliness. If we allow ourselves to experience it fully, it will no longer be an addiction in our life and also once the emotion is released completely, I will no longer feel lonely even when I am alone. So this is just an example of how addictions draw spirits to you. I'm just wondering whether another channelling wouldn't go astray to illustrate that.
Mary:  Could we have a few minutes break and I'll just try and see...? [01:30:49.16]
Could we have a five-minute break and then we can talk with another group of spirits who have been involved with taking energy from people on the Earth and sharing energy with people on the Earth. And this will help you understand from their perspective what they see when you have an addiction.

Mediumship with Mary - Spirit Influence: Part 2
Alright well what we wanted to do now is have a discussion with some spirits where we'll be able to illustrate the way that addictions enable us to take energy from other people or give energy to another person and we will also illustrate how there are different types of energy that is exchanged between people, whether those people live on the Earth or in the spirit world. [00:01:40.14]
11. Channelling with a female spirit, Nora, who enjoys setting up sexual interactions between people on Earth
Mary/Nora: Hello I have been asked to come to speak with you. I understand that you wish to speak about our interactions with those people on the Earth.
Yes that's correct.
Mary/Nora: What would you like to know?
Well what kind of interactions do you have with people on Earth?
Mary/Nora:  Many, very many. We are a group and we are able to interact and exchange energy with many people on the Earth. [00:02:27.19]
And what is your name?
Mary/Nora:  My name is Nora. We enjoy having fun.
So when you say you enjoy having fun what kind of fun do you especially enjoy?
Mary/Nora:  We like to play games with men. There are many ways we can be involved between men and women and we like to party.
But what kind of games do you play with men?
Mary/Nora:  We know how to make a man notice a woman and we enjoy this feeling with the woman.
So you enjoy the exchange of sexual energy between men and women?
Mary/Nora:  Yes.
And you spend a lot of your time in the spirit world just trying to get that sexual energy? [00:03:38.29]
Mary/Nora:  It's not difficult. There are many people in Brazil and many of them are having sex. There are many games that we can play with people to make them have more sex.
And then you share in the sexual energy of the exchange?
Mary/Nora:  Yes, but I do not like your tone. I've known many people like you, very judgmental.
So you feel I'm judgmental?
Mary/Nora:  Well I know you don't like what we do.
Well it's not that I don't like what you do because I feel that the exchange of sexual energy between soulmates is a very beautiful experience. But you are encouraging the exchange of sexual energy between any persons and this is not really in harmony with the laws of love. And in fact if you examine your own physical condition, you'll find that you are not very pretty anymore and this is a result of you exchanging sexual energy in this way. If you have a look in a mirror you can see that you are not very pretty any more. [00:05:27.09] 
Mary/Nora:  It doesn't really matter how I look because I know how to get this from people.
So you know how to manipulate other people sexually in order to get a feeling that you want?
Mary/Nora:  Yes it's a good feeling.
And you don't feel that's a selfish thing to do, particularly if they are not aware that you are doing it?
Mary/Nora:  But they get to have good feelings through this.
But if they knew a spirit was sharing in their sexual exchanges, do you think they would still engage in these same exchanges?
Mary/Nora:  They don't seem to mind who they have these exchanges with. So I don't think they would mind.
So you do not see anything that is wrong with the whole idea of exchanging sexual energy? Do you notice what happens to your own spirit body when you do this?
Mary/Nora:  No.
If you could have somebody else show you what happens to your own spirit body every time you've done this, would you choose to know?
Mary/Nora:  Why would I do this?
Well without realising it you're actually degrading your own condition and the location where you'll end up in the spirit world is going to be very, very dark if you continue with your actions. You have yet to allow yourself to see where you live in the spirit world and this is why you are frequenting the Earth. In addition you are interfering with relationships that people have on Earth and you are causing people to cheat on their partners for example and this has a negative experience to their soul as well as your own. [00:08:11.24] 
Mary/Nora:  They would do this anyway. I'm not very interested in this... I enjoy what I do.
And what I'm saying to you is that at some point in the future you're going to regret what you're doing.
Mary/Nora:  I... 
Have you ever thought about why you need this sexual energy so much and have you ever considered that maybe there is one person who can give you sexual energy better than anyone else? [00:08:58.24] 
Mary/Nora:  Well it's true some can give more than others.
No I'm saying there is one person who can give you sexual energy better than anyone else.
Mary/Nora:  And who is that?
It's the other half of your soul.
Mary/Nora:  I don't really understand.
11.1. God created soulmates to exchange sexual energy with each other
Well at this point in time you have not conceived that you are actually only one half of a soul and there is another person in the spirit world or on Earth, depending on your age, who is the perfect partner for you and this includes being the perfect sexual partner for you. And with this person you'll gain the most and beautiful experiences. At the moment you are rejecting this person through your action of sharing your energy with many people. [00:10:21.22] 
Mary/Nora:  You are annoying me.
Why am I annoying you?
Mary/Nora:  Blah, blah, blah, blah... I like what I do.
And I'm telling you that there's a better way to go about what you do. I'm also saying to you that you will end up destroying yourself if you continue doing it as you currently are. [00:10:49.14] 
11.2. Unloving behaviour incurs penalties on our souls
Mary/Nora:  Why am I allowed to do it if it's so bad? Don't we all have bodies so that we can do this stuff?
Well God gave you free will that means you are allowed to use your will in any direction you wish. However there are also laws in God's Universe which mean that there is a penalty upon your soul if you engage your will in a negative direction, and what you are doing with people on Earth is engaging your will in a very negative direction. You are using people as sexual playthings, in order to get your own fulfilment without considering the results of your actions. This is the same as a smoker on Earth who smokes cigarettes without considering the results of his actions. Sooner or later there is a negative consequence for actions that are unloving and you are already, without knowing, involved in these negative consequences. 
Without knowing it your soul is degrading and each time you share your sexual energy with another in a way that is out of harmony with love, causes a further degradation to your own body and a further degradation to your soul. As you continue these actions you create very bad consequences for yourself and also unfortunately consequences for others and this will all be attributed to your soul and your inability to see what you are doing. Now while you can engage in these experiences, you are not asking yourself whether it is wise to and you are not understanding the underlying sadness in yourself that causes you to desire sexual energy from anyone.
Mary/Nora:  So you just want me to feel sad and bad.
11.3. Releasing our sadness allows us to have happier lives
No I don't want you to feel sad or bad. What I am saying to you is that your sadness that is already in you, which is a result of how people treated you while you were on Earth, needs to be released from you before you can become happy. And unless you do that you will not ever be truly happy, you will... [00:14:12.11] 
Mary/Nora:  Do you know what? My life on Earth was so unhappy and this is why I can be happy now. 
Yes I understand that your life on Earth was very unhappy and I'm not suggesting that you must have the same life as you had on Earth.
Mary/Nora:  It sounds a lot like it.
No I am suggesting that you need to release from you the emotions of your life on Earth and you have the potential to have a much happier life than you are currently experiencing. But you are involved in an addiction that is destroying yourself and as it further destroys you, you will become more and more sad and sooner or later the extremeness of this sadness will cause you to stop your actions and allow yourself to feel. I am also saying to you that you have a much greater prospect of happiness before you if you would only open your eyes to that and see. [00:15:43.01] 
Mary/Nora:  I can't, I can't.
Why can't you?
Mary/Nora:  I can't feel the sadness.
Why is that?
Mary/Nora:  I shouldn't have to.
So you feel that other people caused your sadness and that you shouldn't have to feel it?
Mary/Nora:  And it's too hard, too much.
And can you see that this sadness is the thing that is driving your sexual promiscuity?
Mary/Nora:  So why can't I have one thing that makes me feels happy and good? [00:16:29.00]
Well the reality is that God wants to give you many things that will make you feel happy and good but true happiness and goodness can only come from engaging love, and it’s this area of love that you feel many, many injuries. I would like to help you.
Mary/Nora:  There is no such thing as love.
Well I believe there is such a thing, as love and I believe actually that you have people surrounding you who wish to give you great amounts of love. But because of your sadness you are rejecting their love in preference for sex and in the end you have the potential of having love with sex, and this is a beautiful experience that God created that is your potential. But while you are engaging in these addictive sexual relationships it is not possible for you to experience the beauty of such a relationship. How long have you been in the spirit world? [00:17:58.29] 
Mary/Nora:  Stop being nice to me.
Well I cannot help being nice to you because I love you and I'm concerned for you. Do you mind answering the question about how long you've been in the spirit world? [00:18:25.12] 
Mary/Nora:  Ten years.
And how long were you on Earth?
Mary/Nora:  Twenty-five years.
So you lived a very short life on Earth and you are really only thirty-five years old.
Mary/Nora:  Yes.
And your life on Earth was very harsh.
Mary/Nora:  Yes.
I understand that you're angry about that, and I feel it's okay to be angry about that. I feel that you have many joyful prospects ahead of you, but if you continue the actions you are currently taking, your life will experience more pain in the future and this is something that I am trying to help you avoid. I understand you have your free will and you are able to engage sexually with other people in the way you have and I don't feel condemnation for your actions, but I am concerned about how unhappy it will make you in the end. [00:20:03.14] 
Mary/Nora:  What do you want now?
11.4. Some bright spirits come to visit Nora
I would love to bring to you some spirits who are also women who have done similar things to you and who believed the same things that you currently believe. They also engaged sexually with many people and at the time they did that they felt they enjoyed this, but I would like to have you meet them so that you can see how happy they are now, and this will give you some confidence that things can improve in the future. Would you like to meet these people? [00:21:12.17] 
Mary/Nora:  Yes.
Well we'll ask them to come now. You have two very beautiful women standing in front of you and these women feel a lot of love for you and also they know the feelings that you have because they have personally felt the same feelings themselves. If you'll be willing to meet them and listen to their stories it may help you a lot with your life.
Are you willing to go with them?
Mary/Nora:  Yes. 
They would be very glad to help you. There are many other women who have been doing similar things to you and are those women still with you?
Mary/Nora:  Some of them.
Well we'll ask some more women from the spirit world who are bright and these women can help them also. [00:22:49.24] 
Mary/Nora:  My sister came too.
That's beautiful. How old was your sister?
Mary/Nora:  She was eight.
So she died when she was young?
Mary/Nora:  (Nods)
She looks a lot different now. 
Mary/Nora:  (Nods) Thank you I will leave. [00:23:21.10]

12. Discussion about the channelling with Nora
If I can explain to everybody what was happening there. This woman had a huge amount of sadness inside of her and she was using sexual energy to cover over the sadness that she felt. What she found she could do was because so many people on Earth are willing to share sexual energy and so many people on Earth are willing to have sex with almost anyone, she would make arrangements where people had sex. It did not matter to her whether the people involved were married or single and it did not matter to her whether they were male or female as long as she could share the sexual energy to help her not be sad anymore. [00:24:39.26] 
So she has this large degree of sadness that came from quite a short and difficult life on Earth and this sadness caused her to want to only be happy. So she wanted to be a party girl and she would over-cloak many women on Earth when they went out to parties and cause them to have one night stands with men that they would meet at the parties, and in this way she would make a lot of her sadness go away.
Mary:  Well I knew the story of her life. Her parents and her sister were killed in a car crash when she was small, I think when she was ten, and then she went to live with some family and I think her aunt and uncle and her uncle abused her. So she lived a kind of life where she avoided her shame by partying and doing all the things she now influences people to do. And actually when she was twenty-five she also died in a car accident. Sad. [00:26:36.27]
And often people who enter the spirit world in this sexual addiction have had a lot of negative sexual experiences on Earth, including being raped or abused, and so they engage sex as a way to avoid the sadness. They only want to experience happiness and the only feeling that feels good for them to feel is the sexual feeling. Of course there are many people on Earth who feel the same way and so there are literally billions of people on Earth who are willing to engage sexually with others without any love being involved and so these people are very easily manipulated by spirits such as this girl.
Now the girl had a lot of sadness to feel and you notice she became quite angry with me when I began to trigger that sadness. This is a normal response because she is being reminded of her sad life on Earth that she's been able to avoid by doing these sexual things. [00:28:20.22]
In fact many men on Earth who engage in pornography or other sexual pursuits are often very sad and have a lot of sadness to feel about their relationship with the opposite gender, and many women on Earth who are very sad are also now using the sexual experience to have some degree of happiness in their life. But unfortunately because it's not loving, it has a negative effect on their soul but also a negative effect on their own happiness. So over a period of time it causes them to become more unhappy and this is the same with all of our addictions; the more we engage the addictions the more unhappiness it creates. So if you think of any of the physical addictions such as drugs or alcohol or cigarettes, the more a person engages the addiction, the sadder their life and situation becomes, and this applies the same for sexual addictions. 
The reason why we wanted to give you that example is so that you could see that there are underlying emotions that drive our addictions that then cause spirits to be attracted to our addictions and then enable them to manipulate our lives. 
13. Audience Questions
13.1. Palladian spirits attempt to positively influence the Earth
Participant: I would like to know about the spirits who claim themselves Palladians.
Palladian spirits, yes? I have spoken to Palladian spirits many times. These spirits have fragmented into two groups. There is one group who believe themselves to be Palladian’s and what this group of spirits have done is they have set themselves up on a planet of their own as spirits. So any spirits are able to do this; they are able to go to a location in the physical world and inhabit that Earth or world. They are also able to come to Earth and communicate with people on Earth but they often do not know a huge amount about the spirit world. They believe they know and they believe they understand everything but when you begin discussing the truth with them they then start to realise that they don't know everything they realised. [00:32:15.25]
The second group of so-called Palladian spirits no longer call themselves Palladian. They used to be associated with the first group, they have since embraced The Divine Truth and they know a large amount about the spirit world now and they know a large amount of God's Truth.
The Palladian spirits are very interested in the Earth because they are trying to bring love to the Earth but unfortunately they do not understand the soul. They are a group of spirits who only understand the spirit body and they have spent large amounts of their time examining how this body works. Some of them want to talk through Mary to you.
Mary:  They have a fascination with the construction of the spirit body and maths and art and...
And science generally.
Mary:  And science generally. They're very interested in the metaphysical relationship that can exist between the physical world and them as spirits and between themselves as spirits and the people on Earth. Their intentions are not malevolent and what they desire to do is to bring mankind into a very good condition, but as AJ said they don't understand the soul. [00:34:33.27]
So what they do is they help on Earth, work on their spirit body as a method of improving. They also want people on Earth to grow in love and they do understand the relationship between addictions and a lack of love, but they have never truly examined the soul and the relationship between the soul and the spirit body. This is something that we have been discussing with them and some of the spirits who we have discussed these things with have embraced the soul. But the other group of Palladians are still resistive to that concept and so they are still very focussed on developing their spirit body. But they are not a group of spirits who try to harm the Earth and they are also not a group of spirits who are always trying to have their addictions met on Earth. So they have a far more loving impact upon the Earth than many other groups of spirits. [00:36:15.28] 
13.2. Ways to prepare for future Earth changes that may occur in Brazil
Participant:  I have more questions about the catastrophes that you predicted and what would be of Brazil in this scenario?
I'm certainly happy to answer those questions. The reality is that much of the interior of Brazil will have very little effect in comparison to the rest of the world with coming events. Obviously the exterior, the coastal areas, will have far more negative experiences. However there will be seismic events that occur in Brazil itself, which will affect many of your larger cities. I feel for any person in Brazil it is good to focus on a few basic things.
Firstly focus on developing the soul and bringing the soul into more harmony with love. This causes the Law of Attraction to bring more positive events to the individual who has developed in love. Secondly, there are practical things that can be done to prepare for coming events. One of those practical things is to take responsibility for things such as your own food and water production instead of relying on government institutions to provide these resources for you. The more you become self sufficient, the better your life will be. [00:38:44.26] 
Thirdly it's important to think about your long-term desires. So rather than worrying about short-term potential problems, feel about what you would like to do with the rest of your life and then embrace that with a passion. Really engage your desire to do those things. Don't avoid your desires because of fear but rather engage your desires in a positive direction. Also allow yourself to connect to the Earth more. The Earth provides everything for us and the more we damage this Earth the less it will provide. So it's very important that all of us learn to connect more strongly to the Earth and to take care of everything in it rather than having the viewpoint of using it all for our own benefit. [00:40:09.20] 
Mary:  We should ask what we can give to the Earth rather than what it should give to us, or what we can take.
So there are many positive things that can occur here in Brazil. There are unfortunately also though a large group of spirits who are having a negative impact on Brazil in two particular areas, in politics and in religious pursuits. These particular spirits are looking to having a power base here in Brazil and these spirits will definitely have an impact in the coming times. [00:40:59.27] 
In the interior of Brazil, particularly in the areas that are higher than 700 meters and that are a few hundred kilometres inland from the coast, almost all of these areas will have a relative degree of safety. Obviously if you live in cities and the cities' resources are unable to be provided, there is a large potential for an amount of anarchy and this is why it is very good for us to become more connected to the Earth and more connected to our own self sufficiency because you will not be able to rely on the government to continue to provide resources. [00:42:17.11] 
13.3. Channellings can often be inaccurate about who the medium is channelling
13.3.1. AJ/Jesus was not involved in the Course of Miracles book
Participant:  There is a book called A Course in Miracles, do you have anything to do with that book?
No, I do not. I know the book. It was channelled through people on Earth who believed it was Jesus channelling to them. But the spirit channelling to them never believed he was Jesus; he was in the first sphere or the first dimension at the time of the channelling. He has since found the Divine Truth and he is well progressed in the spirit world now. He has been trying to correct the things that he channelled but of course the people on Earth who channelled the material are not open to the correction. And this is something that happens with many channellings given to Earth. The spirit often channels to a group of people on Earth and then the spirit learns more things and then he's not able to channel the corrections because the people on Earth don't believe it's the same spirit. We have had a recent example of this with some Mormon spirits and also with Chico Xavier, who we channelled a few weekends ago. [00:44:11.17]
There are many perceptions on the Earth that spirits can give a special code and therefore validate whom they are channelling through the person but the problem is that any other spirit can see the code and therefore falsify themselves. Therefore the code is useless and this is something that has happened to Chico Xavier. So when he came to speak with us many people on Earth would not believe it was him, even people who were in our audience would not believe because he did not give the code, but Chico knows that the code is useless because literally thousands of spirits know the same code. 
So unfortunately what happens on Earth, because there is not a clear conception of what happens in the spirit world, there are many false concepts of how a spirit should interact with people on Earth. So if any spirit comes along to a person on Earth claiming to be someone famous often the person on Earth wants to believe, and so therefore accepts what is channelled without any question. This is actually quite a damaging process because many spirits are false and often malevolent and they are often claiming to be people they are not. [00:46:04.29]
Also there are many people on Earth who want to believe they are somebody special because it means if I am channelling a spirit who is special it must mean that I am special, and so there is an addiction that is fed. 
In reality many of the spirits who come to us are just normal people like you and I, with no special history but who just want to talk to us, and often they can learn from us too. And this is one reason why we engage any spirit who comes whether they are famous or not. [00:46:59.08] 
Mary:  We like the non-famous ones better.
And sometimes we like the non-famous ones better (laugher) because a lot of times they are more real and many people who are famous on Earth pass over in a hard condition, and they're very hard to assist and help, and sometimes they have many false concepts that they find it difficult to give up. [00:47:33.10] 
Mary:  I should correct though, the reason that I enjoy channelling the non-famous spirits more is not because of the famous spirits but because the way the audience may react when we channel a famous spirit. So it's actually my fear of people on Earth that makes me resist the famous people more. (Laughter)
We find it a bit sad that people on Earth will listen more to a famous spirit when there are many spirits who are less famous but who know more. So this is why it's important to get a good understanding of the spirit world and a good understanding of who is being communicated with. [00:48:44.15]
