Destination : The Roaring Twenties (Part 1) We returned to the motel room Turned on the TV and cranked up the volume Something happened within a half an hour We found ourselves in a field of wildflowers Imagine seeing a new antique car The sight of it was quite bizarre Just before the stock market crashed People were spending their hard earned cash Cabin 13 For two nights in October We could have picked April or September We kept warm over a fire ring Remembering camps where we used to sing Cooking pizzas and cherry pies The s’mores were a nice surprise! Until we had a fearful visitor A skunk was blocking the path to the stairs By nine-thirty we were inside Our evening cut short , so upset we could cry Having a cup of coffee on the couch We saw a commercial with Oscar the Grouch Tomorrow we will repeat the day But we hope the skunk stays away!
