Outhouse builders do not recommend that the basements of these highly utilitarian structures be used as hiding places. They even say so right on their product warning labels: "USING THE BASEMENT OF THIS STRUCTURE AS A HIDING PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED. DOING SO MAY/WILL VIOLATE THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY."
