A World Without Darcy
After rescuing Lydia, Darcy remains in London. He blames himself the elopement, and fears another rejection from Elizabeth Bennet. Likewise, he is afraid to confess his interference to Bingley lest he lose his friend as well. Mired in guilt, he comes to the conclusion that everybody would be better off without him around. Fate then offers him a chance to see just what that would entail.
