The amalgamation of BOAC and BEA to form BA like most large carriers operating world-wide services the airline has had many 'up-and-downs' (sic) along the way there have been many mergers re-organizations many new types to get into service and a few industrial disputes the loss of its major asset Concorde SST and brief sojourn with Go as its low-cost carrier, later sold to Easyjet, now its Iberia!
