by Robert Grey Reynolds, Jr
The captain of the Admiral Graf Spee requested 15 days to make repairs to his pocket battleship. The Graf Spee sustained damage after it was shelled by three British cruisers in Uruguay. In the end the German warship was forced to leave Montevideo by government officials of the South American country.
