This short story chronicles Charlie Wolfe's three day visit to San Francisco. A struggling fictionist, Wolfe's purpose for the trip is to regain a new perspective for writing after a fallible college semester that has left Wolfe creatively impotent. Wolfe's adventures, along with the companionship of a muse, refines his overall perspective of the city some call 'the Paris of the West.'
