The Top Level Quality Project (jingpin kecheng, 精品课程) is a large Chinese project which uses the production of Open Educational Resources to improve the quality of undergraduate education. This work is an in-depth discussion of this project from a comparative education perspective, looking at the history of Chinese higher education, and comparisons with MIT OpenCourseWare.
