Maxwell, a failed musician, may have to fall back on his family trade - finding, trading and selling occult artefacts. His most recent find is worth thousands, but no one will buy it. He hides it, taking time to reunite with an old flame during a summer festival. He doesn't believe in the power the artefact has, or his fathers occult legacy, but he will soon face a darkness he can't rationalise.
