The HA-300 stands as the last combat aircraft for which the famous German engineer had overall design authority. Initially designed for Spain the delta-wing HA-23P glider was built to test the basic concept for the HA-300 When flown to Egypt to continue the project there the HA-300 had become a tailed delta. After Suez, Egypt lost interest in the project and it was sent to Dasa for display
