'Coming in to land' is the story of an Oxfordshire boy who grew up to be a war hero. It starts with his early life on his parents’ farm in the 1920s, it goes on to where he fights for his country in the RAF during the Second World War. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for bravery in action whilst flying behind enemy lines following a daring reconnaissance mission over Belgium.
