'Tis Folly To Be Wise
by John Arkison
Ali, a girl/woman with pride and intelligence and some magic, finds herself swimming upstream against ignorance, bad luck, and old rivalries not of her making. Set in the 10th Century, the action takes place in Wales, Iceland, and among Vikings. It has poetry from the period (give or take a few hundreds of years, there is limited available) and small bits of five dead languages plus Icelandic.
