My eBook is about an early 20th century Major League Baseball pitcher who faded into obscurity after winning 23 and 18 games in the 1911 and 1912 seasons. Harmon played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. After his baseball career ended in 1918, he settled in Ouachita Parish, near Monroe, Louisiana. He became a successful dairy farmer and remained close to sports.

George Washington Keefe was a less than average pitcher for the Washington Nationals during the first seasons of the National League club's 19th century existence, 1886-1889. He established records for most walks in an inning in 1887. Mostly disappointing, but sometimes brilliant, he was 5'8" and left-handed.
