Among the many new types shown at the Farnborough SBAC Displays (see Smashwords Editions) throughout the late 1940s and early 1950s were Britain's first two swept-wing jet fighter type aircraft. Both were swept-wing derivatives of two of the RN first generation jet fighters post-WW II. The Supermarine 510 and Hawker P.1052 were the first of a series of airplanes that led to the Hunter and Swift.
