Soldiering is hardest during the holidays. Because we have so few who've been in the military, it is somewhat of an alien world. And, being away from home is very hard under any circumstances but especially hard for soldiers. Here are a couple of Vietnam vignettes of being away from home, plus a concept of what it means to give. A philosophy if you will.
