Noynah - she was only a village girl

Noynah was born in Kamalasai, a small sleepy Isaan village on the outskirts of Kalasin in the North-East of Thailand on the 1st of September 1958 she was the only daughter of Simon and Nooch Kwanchalerm. They were simple folk living on a small farm that was no bigger than four ‘rai’ of land of which he had inherited from his father.
