The Korean War, 1950-53 is mainly remembered as the first major conflict in which jet fighters of the major powers East and West met in air-to-air combat. But the nature of the air war over Korea dictated that a variety of piston-engined veterans were re-called among them the NA F-51 Mustang (upgraded P-51 of WW II).
