If you are a fan of Michael Crichton style novels, then you will definitely want to read this sci-fi thriller, Smilodon. Alan Nayes manages to make the scenes so gripping, that the read went by very fast, despite the fact that this is a 300 page book. The writer weaves in touching backstory as Jason Bristol is still struggling with his son's mauling by a bear while he's also tracking a killer Saber Tooth Tiger. There's a large cast of characters, even a few villainous guys that I was really hoping would get eaten, but I won't say what happened to them. Read for yourself!
