Armand de Bleu has lived at the Order’s school for boys since his twelfth birthday when his only relative, an older sister, dropped him off and left him never to return. The Order was his life and though he did not care for his Master, James Argonne, Knight of the Throne and historian for the Order, and he owed the Order everything. His loyalty to his closest friend, Christopher Stewart, and his beloved Order are tested severely when Christopher runs away to America and asks him to cover for him. Armand then experiences a little of life outside the Order on a trip to Southern France, but when he discovers a terrible secret about his brutal Master, his path as a devoted Templar is put in jeopardy along with his very life.
The Journey Begins is the first novel in a series of books following the adventures of the Apprentices and younger members of the Order of the Poor Knights of Solomon’s Temple. The books will roughly follow the Assassin Chronicles series by Brendan Carrol. The Apprentice Diaries are a collaborative work by Brendan Carroll and D’Lani Elliott.
