Description

Anna Mary, a recent and childless widow, has returned to rural Ireland, where she was raised by her grandparents, for the first time in 40 years. There in the lane she had run barefoot down every day, her thoughts turn to moments and people from the past. The sharply poignant memories create for Anna Mary a pathway through her aloneness to the decisions she must make for her future.

I enjoyed reading Anna Mary and liked the way it was written. The country setting and outcomes were believable and the character portrayals strong. Because I enjoyed this book I am going to read more of Amelie Rose.
