Fast Paced, Page Turner. Set in 19th century Paris, Clary sees a murder no-one is intended to see, the French police won’t listen to her, so she sets out to find who killed her friend. Not only does she end up being set up for her friend’s murder, she inadvertently stumbles upon a terrorist plot. Clary can take care of herself, which is proven when she survives numerous murder attempts on her life! I found this book hard to put down. Every time I thought I knew who the culprit was, I was proven wrong.
