This is a thoughtful, realistic short story which does not offer the reader any easy, fairytale solutions to the issues which it raises, and, is all the better for it.

'No Identity' is a somewhat disturbing short story about how one event can completely change a person's life. When Stacey is attacked one night while taking a walk, she fights back and finds a darker side of herself. I liked this story exactly for this reason. It was nice read something where the main character started out good and went bad. It would be very interesting to see what Miss Belle would come up with should she decide to expand this from a short story to a novel.
