Then a friend tells him about a secret chateau outside Paris where they train women in the erotic traditions of the Code d’Odalisque. For a million a year, Kai can choose a sexual servant to use at will, a woman thoroughly trained in the pleasuring of men.
Kai makes the trip and, in the course of touring the facility, meets Constance, a shy and strangely quiet odalisque. He decides to acquire the beautiful woman and bring her to his home. While not in the same class as Mercy, Firebird or "Knees",this is still a good read........ I just can't help thinking that the author's relationship with dance and the symphony gave us such an insiders feel....... That would be impossible to achieve in all areas of life....... No matter - this story does a good job of exploring a category of the Service Industry most of us could not conceive of.........

Did not like it as much as the others by AJ.
No depth in the characters
No building of emotional connection
