Sarah Williams is a young Welsh immigrant, coming to Utah to join her sister Mary Ann Perkins and her young family. I really enjoyed reading this book. It had a lot of adventure in it as well as tender romance. The Polygamy took me by surprise as I didn't know that would also be delt with besides the adventure of the hole in the rock, but that was the part that I loved reading about the most. She treated such a sensitive subject with tenderness and you could feel for both women. I would give it 5 stars.

This was a wonderful historical novel based on real events and real people in history. From the beginning of the novel, Tristi gave enough detail to let me sympathize with the main characters. I hadn't read a book about polygamy that was handled quite this way, and it was a fascinating read. Highly recommended.
