About Lynda Chance

Always a fan of romantic fiction, I've always been in love with the alpha-male. So in love, I've never been quite satisfied with the restrictions of series romance. I like to get into a guy's mind and have him do or say exactly what he's feeling at the moment, and sometimes I shock even myself! I consider my stories soft erotica; one man, one woman, heterosexual. But since abiding love is always the happy ending I'm looking for, my couples are always monogamous. My guy would never share his woman with anyone, and she is always enough to satisfy him. Since I believe that love starts with lust, my stories are always highly sexual, explicit in nature, and hopefully totally satisfying to my readers. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

Very mills & boon-like. Still sweet and hot.

Featuring a dominant and somewhat abrasive hero, and a sweet, gentle and hesitant heroine, this short story took off right from the first page. Things happened very quickly. We were told that the hero had been watching and yearning for the heroine for six months before he made his move, so I could accept the pace and aggressiveness with which he worked - that man had waited long enough! I also found him to be rather romantic in a gruff and possessive way. The heroine, unfortunately, paled in comparison to the larger-than-life hero.

I did enjoy this story mainly because I do like this author's brand of alpha males. I will keep reading her stories.

The hero and heroine have no connection..it is difficult to form one when you have to finish the story before it begins. The premise was interesting, though I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the ending and the length.

For those who want a "take charge" kind of man, then this book is for you. Some may find this bordering on harrassment, but I disagree. I love the fact that the hero knows what he wants and he does everything to get it. My only beef with this book is that it's too short! It was over and done with after a few pages. I wish it was longer.
