I grew up in a library, well not really but it sure seems like I did. I began reading early on and each summer would participate in the local library's summer reading program. After several summer's they asked if I would want to volunteer to help with the summer reading program.
More time in the library, sign me up! A few years after that, I found a job paying me to be at the library. I was the person who returned the newly read books back to their home for the next person to discover.
A passion for reading and a whim last October (2010), led to my passion for writing. My best friend told me she signed up for the National Novel Writing Month and I eagerly researched NaNoWriMo. I signed up without an idea and thought what was there to lose. I finished the fifty-thousand word requirement about twelve days early and in mid-December I finished my first ever manuscript.
Now I split my days between working in a large-box home improvement retailer, and writing on my latest novel. When I am not writing I am reading anything I can get my hands on about this newly discovered passion of mine
