After three guys jump him, Nick wakes up stripped naked and chained to a wall, about to be tortured. The only thing that keeps him going through his ordeal is the thought that things can’t possibly get any worse. Until they do.

He’s just an ordinary man. But they’ve pushed him beyond the ordinary limits. When they’ve taken everything else from him, Nick is left to either fight or die trying.

“Cut” is a short story of over 10,000 words and is the first part of the serialized work “Cut and Run, Slash and Burn”.
