Extended description

Fate can mark one early for a particular future.

Madison Wescott’s life is Hell on earth. Her father, a Baptist Preacher, convinces her she’s morally corrupt when men notice her blooming beauty. She strives to be unnoticeable, but nothing satisfies her condemning parents.

And sometimes fate has nothing to do with one’s potential.

Temptation rears its head when Micah Dominus visits her father’s church on Christmas morning, but she is unprepared for her physical reaction to him. Frightened by her own emotions, she is grateful she’ll never see him again. But when he shows up again at a friend’s funeral, and at other times in her life, she’s swayed by his charisma. Micah becomes her white knight through the good and bad, but can they create the perfect life together? Or has she just located the beginning of the Road to Hell?

Supernatural forces more powerful than fate can claim one’s destiny…

I love the story line and format of this book! The author very skillfully paired a sweet, innocent goody-two-shoes girl with an awesomely hot bad-boy (man!) and had no remorse about doing so! There are several parts where I'm fairly certain that my heart stopped in anticipation for the next scene. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Madison's transformation throughout this book and cannot wait to see what happens in the next book! I recommend this book to anyone who likes a little bad boy hottie action ;)

Madison's Life Lessons is a prequel, by Gracen Miller, for her first book in her Road to Hell series, Pandora's Box. This short takes an early look into the life of heroin, Madison Wescott, and sets the groundwork for whats to come in the series. Written in small chapters titled Life Lessons, it starts off with Madison at age 15 and follows snippets of her life up to where Pandora's Box begins. We see Madison on her journey to becoming a woman, falling in love with future husband Micah Dominus (who obviously has something otherworldly going on), detaching from her overly pious father and her dispassionately secular mother, and having her son, Amos.

I really enjoyed these shorts. They were extremely well written and very emotionally charged. Having read Pandora's Box before this prequel, and knowing how it would turn out, didn't diminish the excitement in reading how Madison and Micah find their way toward each other. I got glimpses into the overall picture that The Road to Hell series is taking and will take in future works. I might have liked Micah in Pandora's Box, even though I wasn't sure of the "why" of his intentions, but these Lessons really gave me an insight into his character and I simply LOVE him more then I did before. I also got a real sense of who Madison was verses who she becomes in Pandora's Box and admit that her character really pulls at my heartstrings.

This is a must read! Im excited the author took the time to put this together for the fans. We get a clearer picture of whats going on and it was nice to have something to tide me over until the release of the next book in the series. This read is nothing short of fantastic! And I really suggest you follow this story on to Pandora's Box which is another amazing read, introducing you to some VERY powerful and interesting characters and a story line that will no doubt leave you wanting more!

review Madison's Life Lessons is a jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, gut-wrenching journey that leaves you drooling for more. The early experiences of Madison's life, creates a spark in the reader, that will solidify a connection with her that will carry on throughout the series. A fantastic, can't put the book down, real page turner type of read that I highly recommend!

Only one word can summarize Madison's Life Lessons on the Road to Hell: AMAZING! Once again, Gracen Miller has woven a spectacular tale that leaves you dying for more. She does an excellent job of making us feel Madison's emotions right along with her. I read Madison's Life Lessons before I read Pandora's Box, which is book one of The Road to Hell Series. I'm glad that I did. Reading the Life Lessons really helped me to understand Madison's actions and reactions in Pandora's Box.
So, buckle your proverbial seat belts and get ready for the wild ride that is Madison's Life! I guarantee you won't be able to put it down.

Madison’s Life Lessons started like an ordinary love story. But this book isn't just that simple. This is a story filled with intrigue, misery, romance and most of all mystery. A naive, teenage girl's journey which led her to a world that no one would want to experience. Madison's Life Lessons is an outstanding novel. And this is just the beginning.
