I live in Texas with my lovely wife and our imaginary bulldog. I grew up reading Jules Verne, Mark Twain, Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, H.G. Wells, and—later on—Franz Kafka.
Many of my tales deal with love and “romance”—the relationship (both physical and spiritual) between a man and a woman. The protagonist is often a lonely, complex, intelligent, beautiful (or not-so-beautiful) woman who finds love and happiness in unexpected—sometimes magical—ways.

A most beautiful and faithful retelling of this amazing story. I was most impressed with the humanity of the narrative, presenting all players with strengths and weaknesses. Thank you for reminding me of a plethora of miracles, and the utter gift of such grace. Highly recommended.
