Short description

Kit Daniels, the heroine of the Dinosaur Wars novels, gets a ride on the back of the world's largest flying creature, Quetzalcoatlus, the huge pterodactyl of the Cretaceous era. For most of us, that would be adventure enough but Kit is about to fly into a life-or-death confrontation with the biggest carnivore the world has ever seen!

Extended description

When Kit Daniels travels with her friend Maddy Meyer and her mentor Dr. David Ogilvey to see a breeding colony of huge Quetzalcoatlus pterodactyls, she's unprepared for just how personal the experience is going to be. Before the day is done, she'll take a ride on one of the colossal flyers and confront the fiercest carnivore of the Cretaceous era.

As always, there's plenty of action in this story as well as an up-close and personal look at an amazing creature of the past. Thomas Hopp has done his research well and it shows in his vivid description of Quetzalcoatlus. His Dinosaur Tales series is fast becoming the premier place to look for stories involving the astonishing creatures of the past, and modern-day human heroes as well.
