Set in the early 1900s, this is the story of a family atempting to solve their father's observation of their Christmas tree's strange behavior. The mystery unfolds for Maethius, the youngest, but he is sworn to secrecy. He breaks his silence ninety two years later to bring us this charming tale for the winter holday season of the valley of the Christmas trees. The delightful illustrations were created by Brenda Laster. For readers aged 8 and older. A nice bedtime story for the younger ones.
