Look At Me Now represents an everywoman's tale told through the eyes of its New York City heroine. I enjoyed reading this novel - the bright, free and not-so free women characters and their choices are portrayed skillfully, making me feel as if they were women of my past. I also gained a deeper insight into the sexual revolt at the turn of the century. Set in present day time, Dierdre comes to terms with her life and in doing so, author Hubschman provides an absorbing novel that left me feeling satisfied and optimistic for female futures.
