The character development was excellent; I genuinely cared for the main characters, and was horrified when it became clear how this was going to end. An interesting story and an interesting look at a world not unlike our own.

This is one of the few horror stories that I've read recently that actually made me think. It isn't so much about fast-paced action, zombie killing, and violence, it is more about the world we live in and how dangerously close so many of us our to having to make horrifying choices to protect the ones we love. The story is a slow burn to an inevitable end. This is the kind of story to read, pause, and contemplate. Much enjoyed.

A clever, innovative take on zombies - I enjoyed this story very much. Although it is horror fiction, it is timely and reflective of current social issues. Perhaps the scariest thing about this story is its plausibility. Well-written, well-paced, and engaging - I will be reading it again.
