Richard Underwood is an author and publisher of software manuals, and other genres including religion and philosophy.
Richard currently writes step-by-step software manuals. He first became a lecturer in computer usage whilst working for the Technology Section of a Government Office in 1994, and by 1996 he had designed his first website and was working for a Regional Technology Network liaising between universities and technology based businesses.
Over the years Richard has designed hundreds of websites, and has been consulted on the creation and design of several e'commerce sites, and in the creation and design of several commercial games and apps.
Richard also writes various other books based upon his earlier working life when he spent twenty years as an ordained minister of religion working for the Salvation Army and the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen before leaving due to a crisis of faith.
After leaving the ministry, and before becoming increasingly interested in computer and internet coding, he worked for several years as a staff counsellor for West Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and as the Chief Executive of a small national counselling charity in the UK.
Richard currently continues to write in all genres at the same time as working part-time as a Healthcare Assistant on acute wards within an NHS Foundation Trust.
