Just read both of these books back to back. This is probably the best story I have ever read!

This sequel surely does not disappoint. After reading a pretty decent first vision story, this one made the story even better. I wasn't sure where the story would go after reading Evan's Book, but I was glad I took the plunge. I loved the way the author brought about Laura's complex character through the use of flashbacks (nice touch), and the introduction of Eliza was a great move. I'm excited to see what the supposed final chapter brings.

After reading the first book, I was hoping to enjoy this one a lot more, and I did! The story definitely improved in this book. A lot of mystery was solved and it made the story much more enjoyable. I like mystery but too much of it tends to get a bit annoying, which is what kind of happened with the first book.
I loved the character development. Laura’s character was amazingly done, and Eliza was a fantastic addition to the story. After the first book, I was really hoping for some background into the Siman character and I got what I wanted. I now understand why his character was created the way it was and why the author did what he did.
Overall, this was a very fun book and a pretty cool concept. I’m not sure a third book could live up to this one, but I am excited to find out. After reading this one, I do intend on going back and reading the first one again when I have time. I may have a different opinion now that I've read them both.

I've been a fan of this story for a long time and I finally had the opportunity to read this book. It's been almost two years since I've read the first book, but I got swept right back into it. This story is fascinating. I would highly advise sending it to some Hollywood producer because this series has the tools to make it to the big screen.

One of the few stories where the sequel lives up to the original. If there's a third book, and from the ending, there probably will be, it has a lot to live up to and I personally can not wait to see what happens, if anything.

The characters were brought to a whole new level and their personalities really soared throughout this story. This really is an awesome series!

After reading the first in this incredible series, I just had to read the sequel as soon as possible. This was equally, if not, better than the original. You don't often see that so it was very gratifying to see a sequel live up to the original. I'm very curious to see how this series ends. I have to give a special kudos to the creation of the newfound Laura and newcomer Eliza. The relationship between the two was some of the best I've read. I liked Laura in the first book, but I absolutely loved her in this one. The chemistry between Jade and Laura was amazing. I also really enjoyed how the author gave us an in-depth look at how Laura came to be how she was.
These two books were definitely unstoppable page-turning. It was hard not to read these books in one sitting.

This is a book not to miss. Those of you left wanting to know more after the first book will not be disappointed. Delving deeper into the secrets of the Black Skull is engrossing and exciting. The story is a well balanced mix of humor with the carnage. The characters have distinct voices and even the most loathsome has characteristics that endear them to the reader.

I really enjoyed the first book, and I hoped the sequel would live up to the original. I was not dissapointed. The plot, the characters, the action, it was even better than the first, if that was possible.

Even having read the all the reviews stating that this book was better than the first in the series, I had a difficult time believing that the first could be outdone. However, the Black Skull provided for the further insight into the characters that I was hoping for, along with several items in the storyline that I never expected. All in all, both Evan's Book and the Black Skull are outstanding reads. The creativity and imagination that Dan exhibits in writing this series is exceptional! I can't wait for the last book, although I really don't want this series to end- it's truly one of the best series I've read in years.

Another fantastic effort by Dan Fitzpatrick.

Picking up almost exactly where the first book left us hanging, Dan brings another unique twist to the vision story. Again, I didn't see a lot of what happened coming. Some character returns were a little surprising and the new ones were just as likeable as the originals.

Without giving too much away, I thought it was brilliant they way he used the character 'Eliza'. I won't get into who she is but her character was very cool, and a little creepy. Laura was awesome! I loved the change in her character from the first one. It's nice to see a female with that type of role. You don't see it everyday.

Awesome sequel but I have a message for the author - Give the next book an ending!

If you liked the first book you will love this one. I liked how Laura's past was linked in this book. She is a total ass kicker.

I didn't think it could be pulled off because it typically doesn't happen, but this book was a lot better than the first. The was more action, more gore, and it's refreshing to see a female character that's such a badass. I again commend Dan on his book. If there is a third book, he has a lot of work to do to make it better than the other two.

An unbelievable sequel!

When I finished the first book, I was kind of mad at the author for the way it ended, but the way he dove right into this book was awesome. I loved the new characters, and the villian in this book was so evil it was creepy.

I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the character of Laura. Just when you think you're going to hate her, a twist in the story makes you absolutely love her. The love/hate relationship between her and Jade was amazing. Their chemistry is one of a kind. Some of the violence was overkill, but it didn't bother me in the least. The story behind it makes it worth it.

Once again, the author leaves you hanging, but not nearly as bad as the first. You won't be disappointed with this book. I will be eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

Just when I thought I knew what would happen, book II came out and I was so totally wrong. If you thought book one was good book 2 surpasses by 10 fold. The book is beyond exellent. Kept me on my seat the whole time, could never find a spot where I wanted to stop. The characters are so life like and superably written. Dan does an exellent job and really has the potential to be one of best writers of our time. So get the book, you will not be disappointed.

Jade Walker returns for another death defying adventure. He is forced to team up with the daughter of his former arch rival in order to prevent the vision power from getting into the wrong hands.

I'm not sure how much more of this story I can handle. Of course we're left with yet another incomplete ending which leaves us wanting more. Awesome book as equally, if not better, than the first.

I can’t remember the last time a book made me cringe, upset me, made me laugh, and even made me cry. To say I loved this book is an understatement. After reading the first book, I didn’t think it could live up to the expectations, but it did, in a big way.

I loved the return of Laura (my favorite character from the first). It’s always gratifying to see a woman play the role of the badass. She definitely stands out in this book. The author did a brilliant job with her character. Her emotion whether it was anger or sadness was as intense as it gets. Agent Flynt was great as always and he always seems to have something up his sleeve. I’m interested to see what else he knows. The new character (left unnamed) was amazing as well and the twist toward the end was INSANE!

If you liked the first book, you’ll love this one.

The twists and turns that started in the first book, Vision: Evan's Book, only accelerate. Without trying to spoil the first book (in case someone reading this review hasn't read that yet), I'll sum up this book.

Someone has taken a pregnant Lily hostage and orders Jade to help her or she'll kill Lily. Jade doesn't want to, but since he's unable to rescue Lily and his unborn child, he agrees. And so begins Jade's next adventure. This one pits him against the members of a large group called the Black Skulls whose aim is global domination.

The problem with this group is that they will use any means to accomplish their goals, even if it means killing innocent people. Personally, I found Judge Martin's character to be intriguing. He really had no conscience at all. I thought he was the perfect bad guy. He was cool and calculated in everything he did. Naturally, a guy this evil shouldn't be allowed to get his hands on the legendary Black Skull, which is exactly where Jade comes in. He has to get the skull before Martin does.

There were a couple of things I really enjoyed about this book. One, the unexpected turns it took. I actually played a guessing game to see if I could figure out what surprise would turn up next. I got one right. So that part was fun. Another thing I liked was seeing some of the same characters that I met in the first book. There were two that popped up that came as a complete surprise. I don't want to ruin it, but those were two great ones. The third thing I liked was the Black Skull itself. It was fun to see how the legend for the skull began and the kind of powers it had.

So if you want a fun read that will keep you wondering what will happen next, I recommend this book. I also recommend that you read the first book before this one or else it won't be as fun.

After reading Vision: Evan's Book, I was extremely excited to FINALLY read the sequel. I was skeptical about reading the work of a self-published author at first, but thanks to Dan Fitzpatrick and his incredible Vision saga, I have found myself reading more self-published titles than traditional.

VisionII: The Black Skull will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. This book 100% lives up to the hype of the insanely unfair cliffhanger at the end of the first one. I loved the first book, but I think I actually like this one better.

If you love a fun, entertaining, action-packed thriller - filled with passion, suspense, and the occasional gore, I highly recommend this book (as well as the first). Dan Fitzpatrick is an amazing story teller and I can only hope he continues to write these incredible books. LM
