Some Sunny Day picks up where Lavender Road left off, and I was entranced to catch up with the lives and stories of Katy Parsons (the scenses where she joins the nursing team are brilliant, and really very funny) Jen Carter and her family, Mr Lorenz, all these people are so well written they feel real! The Canadian Airforce hero Ward Frazer is captivating , a role model for all us men, and the pub scenes evoke an era that I think many of us would like to return to (without the war bit though!)This is a great book.
